You can easily disable all of the "T-Mobile" apps: T-Mobile My Account, T-Mobile Name ID, T-Mobile TV
I've also disabled TalkBack, Rescue, Polaris Office, News & Weather, Lookout Security,Kid Mode, Hangouts, Google Play Music, Google Play Movies & TV, Google Play Magazines.
As far as the HTC applications, I haven't began to disable any of them yet...
Thanks for your post, I was able to disable some more apps

yeah but you can uninstall google music
so why not uninstall that
I did uninstall it. Those were just a list of apps that I disabled or uninstalled.

I don't see, "or uninstalled" anywhere here.
So whats wrong with Google Music?
Do semantics really matter? And does it really matter whether or not I said it in my original post or if I clarified in my next post that it was either disabled OR "uninstalled"? The point is these apps that I mentioned are no longer present blaring in my face whenever I access my phone.
What's wrong with Google Music? Nothing -- if you want to use it. Me, personally? Google Music is a subscription-based service and it is something that, to me, is not worth it's value monthly.

I used to own a Nexus 10 and a Note II, sold them.
Google seems to think I still own the devices.
How can I tell Google they are not mine?

Then the only issue is that you still see them in the Play Store, right? You can hide them from the list, but you can't delete them.
Log in from a computer and go to play store settings and hide it from there.
Ok Thanks. I hide them I was hoping Google Play allowed you to delete them but if hiding them is the best I can do .....
Google play has 6 devices listed I only own one tablet and one smart phone.
Thanks Again.

Yeah you're not the only one. I've had 2 entries for the same in the past but one eventually disappeared. *shrugs*
Hello,
I have a pixel XL updated to the android beta, and I wanted to donwload the Google news app. This app is not available in my country so I went to a repository and downloaded an APK. I installed it, and everything works as usual, the app is running smoothly, but when I close it and leave the phone idle for a few minutes the APP dissapears from the launcher. If I try to install it again the phone tells me that is already installed and I can update it, if I do that the app appears again on the launcher and I can use it again.
Can anyone help me with this? should I block permissions for Google Play services (I think that is what is messing with my apps)? or it is possible to install something to prevent this? maybe a modded apk?

Have you tried changing the launcher? Since you are using a beta, it might be a bug within the launcher.
HIT THANKS IF FOUND USEFUL

No, Still looking at it
Obviously the app is not available in your country through the play store. The play store has that function where it verifies apps which I think is called Play Protect. Of you opted in, it could be that.

I think you know more... I have recently wanted to download app(xender) which is unavailable in the country I'm in right now. I tried to use the VPN and clear g at store catch and date... The usual way. It still won't change the country. Would you know how to. Do that?

That is because the location of you play store is still set to your country, you have to change it in options. I can't do that because I have credit in the play store and doing so will take it away

Hi,
Is there a workaround to install the Google Play Store on EMUI 11 (Mate 40 Pro)?
Have you already tried tutorials for other versions of EMUI ?
Hello to everybody, I want to start by saying thank you to all for doing what you are doing to make life easier for us the common people when it comes for thing we can or can't do with our phone.
I want to say that I bought a Mate 40 Pro and I tried every apps or guidance you did or said to install the GMS on this phone and it doesn't work. This being said, I just want to know if somebody is working for installing GMS on emui 11.
I want to say that I cloned my phone from Mate 20 Pro and the Google Maps is still working, the Gmail I use it from web, so some apps from Google are still working.
Thank you.
Can you post links to those tutorials that don't work, so we don';t waste time with them ?

It's not very legit, but it's very easy and you just need to copy on your smartphone.
Huwei is a promising phone, with top camera setup, nice interface, top hardware. But without google services is not a option for me...I hope they will find a solution in time...

I don't think it's the best place to put in.
Hey everyone. I wasn't able to find a fix online so I figured I'd ask the experts on XDA.
Issue: 1- When I click on an article on my Google feed nothing happens.
2- When I use Google search and click one of the results nothing happens.
Chrome works, Samsung Internet works, and Edge works.
What I've tried: Deleting the storage on the Google app. No dice.
I don't have the same issue on my old S22 Ultra or my Tab S7 Plus.
Has anyone seen this before?
Any help would be appreciated.
Shot in the dark, but do you maybe not have a default internet browser selected? Or did it default to something else somehow that can't open a link? Can you open links from other apps? You could install duckduckgo and see if it'll open in that one maybe.
I would just uninstall Chrome and Google News and just start over.

No dice. But I love duckduckgo thanks for recommending it.
Google news do not use external browser sadly, it needs webview. Try to clear the cache and data from webview app or update it.

My Google News app works just fine. It's the feed all the way to the left of my launcher that's messed up. Is that what you mean?

I literally had this myself for a week, then yesterday it suddenly started to work. When it first began I tried all the recommended stuff like clearing caches and so on, but nothing helped. I wish I could help but I myself am baffled as to how it came to work again.

What if you try to access it from Chrome homescreen ? Under the search bar, there's a "Discover" section which practically is a Google Feed. Does it work ?
Have you tried updating Google App & Android Webview manually ?
Have you allow all permissions for Google app ?

I stand corrected I lied I hadn't updated the Google App. Thought I had but I have the beta. I updated it and now it works as expected. Thanks a million. You really made my day.
