About a month and a half ago the Android 9 beta project became available in my country (Denmark). I joined the project, downloaded the beta version and that's all. I have not received any further updates.
Is this normal?
My version is 9.0.0.108 on BLA-L29.

Usually with beta versions you would expect bug fixes, so the users can report new problems that might come with those bug fixes. What's the point of a beta version if you're not going to let the users try what you're working on.

Det er meget normalt. Nåede desværre ikke beta da jeg hang fast i GMS beta. Gør jeg stadig og kan ikke komme ud og af. Huawei Danmark kan ikke hjælpe og huawei svarer ikke på mails. Men det er også lige meget nu. Men snakkede med huawei Danmark idag de mente først vi fik den nye opdatering i det nye år da det åbenbart er forsinket...igen.. Men da du er på betaen får du som andre siger først en opdatering når den fulde version kommer.

Luckily I just received the official update to pie (9.0.0.161). Hopefully all the bugs that were in the beta are now resolved, cause there was many.

I saw that yesterday. It looks somewhat promising, but I've seen so many of these "unofficial" claims turn out to be false over the years that it's hard to get my hopes up. I can't understand why this is taking so long, though, and I also can't understand why Verizon is still releasing phones on GB (ex. Lucid, Spectrum) when ICS has been out for months.

It's pure greed. 90% of all consumers are complete idiots and don't know what a "Gingerbread" is or an "Ice Cream Sandwich" and Verizon knows this. Verizon saves a ton of money by recycling an OS and phones with "fresh" new names and rehashed features.

How could I khow that? I'm no member of Moto, just have contact to someone who is employer at Moto. But my opinion is, they will never unlock the bootloader. They are giving useless promises all the time. We better should support Kholk and his team to bring up the second core working with Kexec.

It should be released around the 23rd of may. This is.the official information from Moto.
Edit: the soak test in the USA was aborted because of issues in the release candidate. The ota update in germany was just an accident.

The update to Sense 5 itself is not confirmed, per-se. HTC just confirmed that the HTC One X+, One X, One S (and a few others) will receive updates. But they never actually confirmed Sense 5, Blinkfeed or Boomsound.

Hi i know nexus one is a bit old but i Want to see Android 5 on it it has 1 ghz cpu and half a gig of ram but Galaxy s plus have this too and it has Android 5 and HTC HD 2 has even the same CPU and it has Android 5.

I'd love to see it happen and would help where I could but I'm kind of swamped with different projects at the moment. I'm not sure what your experience level is but you'd need a capable kernel developer to get anything working.

as far as porting goes I've done a few successful ports i could try but I'd need someone to test also a compatible hboot and recovery and a kernel.

Never ported L before but eh its hyped.
I have best environment for compiling but no skills in source porting this was my first shot and my the flash kernel was from a tutorial

I have good environment octa-core 54gb ram Ubuntu 15.10 but no really skills I'm just able to compile from source and we could try taking Leo's kernel they share the CPU and gpu

Yesterday arrived mine LeMax2, and this weekend I work to developed first Custom ROM like Evolution for X900: it´s called Revolution . My new blog are ready, http://revolutionlemax2.blogspot.com.es/
In next month I begin to developed Cyanogen, but it´s a slow and a hard work, I don´t promise anything.... but I try it.

I want developed the same ROM´s for X820, this weekend make all test. X820 works under Android 6.0 and it´s a little different to Android 5.0.

Please use Indian 16s ROM as base otherwise Indians won't be able to use 4G calling. VoLTE is not working correctly on all other ROMs.
