Hi, xiaomi.eu is based on China weekly ROM and 2 weeks ago have update to Android 8.1 Oreo.
Problem is TWRP, because when i install 8.11.15 or 8.11.22 ROM, update is OK, but when i restart to recovery...internal storage show 0MB. Solution is FORMAT DATA, then show real internal storage. After restart to Miui and then again to recovery, internal storage again show 0MB.
I tested with official TWRP 3.2.3-0, OrangeFox 8.3 and Batik recovery S 1.4.2. Again and again internal storage show 0MB. Maybe some treble TWRP, but i dont know....
Do you have better solution?

And when you long press Power button and Volume + (10-15s), when mobile vibrate, release buttons and now would TWRP load. Check it.

No! This is only for Redmi 5 (ROSY)! You must search another TWRP for your device...

I guess you're using old nougat based twrp. If you're rosy/redmi 5 user, try twrp from this link.

Wanted to say thank you. Had been trying all the (wrong) TWRPs here on xda and this is the only one that works, and it actually has some nice extras like the Magisk installer (which was also the only one that worked) or the nodmverify thing. Just also want to confirm that it works fine on MIUI Global 10.1

Thanks, it works!!
Use OrangeFox, wipe data, tick on option DeCrypted (or sth meaning that), flash rom. Then the rom won't encryted so won't so 0MB anymore
can anyone send me TWRP-Miui-Oreo-Rosy-v1.img ?

Hi, just received a link to a cm14 build for this phone. Downloaded and flashed it trough twrp, but it doesnt work. Maybe you can help me. I dont know where that build come from. I did wipes (cache,data,dalvik,system and internal storage), then flashed the zip and rebooted. It would load with the bootanimation even with charging led on (almost booted?), but it reboots. I did the same flashing process but flashing 7.0 gapps, and this time, phone would stuck on bootanimation forever. IMPORTANT: TWRP in both cases gave me two errors, you have the screenshot down there.

That two commands are not unusual for CM14. Can you provide us source of that link from where you downloaded the ROM.

try without installing gaps
Hi, I have just tried to flash the ROM. Doesn't boot. If I flash 7.0 GApps, it just shows the CM face, then the ripples appear 3-4 times before hanging and reboots. I wiped dalvik cache and cache after that, bootloop. Flashed back to CM13.
Why u guys r flashing my broken test builds? Keep patience for Sometime. Nought for kenzo is in its way.. Most probably it will released publicly soon
Please stop posting about cm-14.0 and other roms when it is not ready, cm-14 is in staging mode, so be patient
When is the cm 14 ( official nightly) estimated to be released ??

When I was trying to upload a image from gallery to Instagram story this happens (attachment), no thumbnail just as blank but i can slide across but no images and can't upload any one of my gallery picx. No other apps have this issue everything working perfect.Tried everything such as reinstall insta app clear data and catch, factory reset

Maybe just ditch MIUI. Xiaomi is so slow and ignoring that i think its more probable that android o comes earlier to us then miui9.

I don't know how manually sd card permission is allowed. Maybe you can google alternatives.

Currently alternative methods is working properly on marshmallow, officially there is no stable one for nougat
I have the same problem on miui 8 if anyone finds a solution please tell me

Because if I install twrp recovery I will probably loose the capacitive buttons and camera flash.

I am using redmi note 4 with 4 gb ram, and unlocked bootloader, flashed lineage os 15.1 with addons . i am trying to install magisk on Lineage os and i cant install it.. everytime i was trying it says error 1.
I tried many different methods. But nothing is working.
Pls help me

For is good 5- 6 hours screen , mobile data , wifi and bt always open calls around 40-60 minutes and 1 1/2 - 2 days of use , miui 10 eu 8.8.9
