Amazon is the place to buy new battery, LCD screen and digitizer, outer front glass edge screen and even the internal hardware for your charging port, best prices I've ever seen for this stuff good luck with the battery!

Hi.. I have got a 2cm crack in the left button corner of my sgs3 screen and i am looking for replacement.
The shops here in Denmark charges like $400 witch is 1/3 of the price for the phone.
Can I buy cheaper some where?

Search for screen replacement and buy it. Then follow this guide on how disassemble your gs3.
The guide is on YouTube called "Samsung galaxy s3 disassembly & assembly drop test repair".
It is very easy and a lot cheaper.

Going to smaller phone repair shops could be cheaper. With popular phones such as the GS3, usually smaller repair centres keep a good amount of stock for spare parts.
I have found this :
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300741057324&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123
Can I buy that and use it?
I looks like I only have cracked the glass on top of the LCD. And NOT the LCD itself ?
The video for replace screen are showing the hole LCD including riband connectors. But in my case I only need the front glass.
With an Iphone the glass and screen part are glued together. Keep that in mind.

Seeing it coming from China, I don't think it will have the quality of the original part.. But for that price, maybe you can look. Good luck anyway..

Hey everyone. I dropped my phone today......my brand new phone :'(
Screen fractured on the top, but the phone still works, touch screen is in tact, all functions still work like normal.
Question:
What do I need to buy now to replace the damaged screen, because I don't LIKE it!
I see that people are selling the outer glass screen lens like this, for $20ish
http://www.ebay.com/itm/U-For-Samsu...ltDomain_0&hash=item4d0314f1ff#ht_3326wt_1159
and then people are selling complete LCD with Digitizer (whatever that is) for $225
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Brand-New-F...276?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35be08ef4c
The phone is working fine...it's just the glass. Which one do I have to get?
Thanks so much!

If the glass is glued to the digitizer, then why would so many people be selling the glass alone without the digitizer if there wasn't any use for it?
I just noticed that my camera glass was broken and i would love to replace it so does anyone know where i can buy one ?
Try using this!

But it isnt the lens thats broken but the glass thats part of the middle casing i was considering ordering one from ebay and taking the glass out of it as the whole module contains gsm and bluetooth anteena and by replacing it with a non original( dont know if it's genuine) could make the preformance worse
hi can i change my samsung galaxy s3 housing from white to pebble blue if i buy a new one as i cracked my screen and i need a new one and i like the look of the pebble blue case or do they have different screw layouts on the housing ?

If he changes the screen to a blue one, and buys the blue back cover then... BAM! color changed.
I understand the question and... I would guess you can do this as the screen is glued and the back cover has no screws.
To show you how hard it is to change to front screen here is a video.

If this is the same story like with the galaxy s1, then I can say, yes you can
Your screen is cracked, so just buy a blue one, dissamble your phone and change the white parts with blue actually, if I would break my phone, I would make it grey or red ;D
So good luck mate, it isnt that difficult. I could change the screen of an iphone 4s almost without a tutorial at the first time, and this **** is really ****ed up inside. I hope, the s3 isnt build up that complicated
not an easy task to seperate digitizer and the outer glass actually .....

You can't without breaking it.
If you're replacing the housing, you need to replace the glass too.

I know this is a wee bit of thread necromancy, but I've separated the glass and digitizer on many devices without breaking it. Grab a good heat gun, something a little more powerful than a blow dryer, and heat the glass without staying in one place too long so you don't burn anything. The glue will loosen. Use a screen prying tool and slowly remove the glass starting at the edges, nice and evenly. Keep reapplying heat and inching the glass off.
Don't try to half ass it. Use the right tools and go slow.
Hello XDA
So I have a little dilemma here. I recently got a galaxy s5 from a friend and the housing and the glass is shattered but the LCD works fine so I ordered a housing replacement on ebay along with the glass part. but here is the issue of all the tech people that I can find in my neighborhood will fix phones and repair them and sell them no one is willing to put the housing in. but I don't want to take the risk as everybody else on my neighborhood.
So does anyone have a tip or an easier way to do this?

There are YouTube video's that show you exactly how to do this but it's NOT an easy thing.
Be careful and good luck!

Precisely my point those YouTube videos are that of a professional doing it I'm more of a amateur I guess. I fixed my galaxy s4 LCD because that opens from the back. But thats 5 is especially difficult because it opens from the front and trying to replace the housing means your wrist a 40 percent chance of atleast shattering the LCD which cost 150 on its own.
Hard decisions
