I have played pubg on nitrogen os (pie) room it is laggy in every mode
Smooth/ balanced/hdr and with low/ medium/high frame rate.
Any suggestions how i can play pubg smoothly and if anyone have tried pubg in this rom and any other rom working smooth. Plz give suggestions.
Oreo resurrection remix official with the game fps set to low gives me a playable and stable game play. You might also want to set your screen resolution to FHD or HD. If you must charge while playing, use normal charger. I've tried several roms but all of them sucks at pubg except this. There's some bug with the rom though. Or you can flash the kernel from rr to other oreo rom.
PubG Extreme Framerate on Le Max 2
I'm on Revenge OS 9.0. I play on extreme frame rate on my LeEco Le Max 2 with no lag. I just have to apply GFX tool application and start the game from there. Here are my settings. (I had links for the images but I can't send because this is my first XDA post.)?

If you dont mind, can you make a video playing pubg . Nd share link of that video , so that i can check gameplay. I am currently on nitrogen os (pie). If d gameplay is smooth in your rom, i will change d rom.

How you change the resolution? Is it the lcd density pixel(using los 15 remixed)? What value for fhd and hd please help..
Lineage 16 + black screen oc gives good performance.

I have installed android 8.1 pixel experience rom on my redmi note 4, and I can't get slow motion recording to work, gcam always crashes, I tried open camera and set fps to 120 but it doesn't seem to work, it just records normal, I tried snap camera HDR and doesn't work, I've seen something about installing a magisk module fore the OP3 that enables HEVC ,and apparently works on some Xiaomi devices, I tried it and at first it seemed to work, slow motion didn't crash gcam and the viewfinder showed an image quality similar to that of MIUI stock camera in slowmo mode, but when I record the video it works for 1 second and freezes,then every time I try to open the camera the image is frozen until I reboot the phone

It doesn't look like slow motion in op ?, I think they just slow the video for that reason there is a frame drop issue in slow motion

1. game variant- global 0.10/0.11( it will also work when u select 0.10 and u updated to 0.11)
2. Resolution- 1280"720
3. Graphics- smooth
4. fps- low
5. style- classic (your choice)
6. Don't unable shadow
7. Don't unable MSAA
8. Graphics rendering lavel- low(no shadow)
9. Turn of detail mode
10. Colour rendering lavel- default
11. Don't unable light effects
12. Don't unable zero lag+ battery efficiency
13. Don't unable potato graphics
14. Hardware accelerated rendering- open GL 2.0
15. Gpu optimisation- default
16. Turn on memory boost option
17. Turn on safe mode

Much better( easier to spot enemy on long distanse without scope) with balanced or hd on extreme fps. Some lags(for 1-2sec) only when changing location fast with vehicle. Also vikendy may lag. Other maps r running smooth

I don't know its fully working or not but I have tested almost 10 videos and most of them are more than 10 minutes long and all of them was different different conditions lightning conditions.
My prediction was if the Camera sensor is not getting warm with direct sunlight in G-cam then why it is MIUI camera app lagging and throttling down CPU performance ???
The ans is simple Xiaomi put some thermal profile in our vendor so that our phone temperature stays in stable mode / In one way it is good and safe but the profiles are not Optimized to obtain the highest performance of our beloved redmi note 7 pro . That's why the phone is lagging in recording video in stock camera app
The solution is simple ,Just delete those thermal profiles
For MIUI and Custom rom users
Your phone should be Unlocked and you need root permissions.
Using any root explorer go to vendor/etc/ folder
Delete thermal-engine-camera.conf[for camera throttling CPU performance]
Delete thermal-engine-pubgmhd.config[For pub throttling CPU performance]

Reboot and try to shoot videos in Direct sunlight Hope you will get particular 29/30fps in 1080p
Your phone will heat upto 52dC [tasered in mine]
Tested on latest vendor and mokee official rom and XEonAX's latest camera mod [4k 30fps is available with EIS:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:] and the videos are buttery smooth

Why is this happening? I'm playing on lowest settings except I set the resolution to 1080p and fps to 60 fps. My room temperature is 30c and the phone gets up to 60c when throtteling. Setting the resolution to 720p changes nothing.

I would try to check the battery settings and see which 3rd-party apps is second to PUBG battery consumption. I'm not a gamer but I've experienced better battery runtime after replacing Messenger and Facebook with their lite versions, this also translate to better thermals. Also try reinstalling PUBG or if it has a repair function, use it.

If you're using MIUI it's pretty hard, I tried it as a test on miui 11.2 and it was cutting frames and getting really slow in combat, but currently I'm using latest official RR and the game is running smoother than ever-as much as it can be ngl-
anyway whatever your ROM is ,
1-try setting the battery profile to extreme saver -it reduce the load and kill background stuff-
2-if you got any game driver option set it as game driver not default or system drivers
3-and last to get that max smooth but it will be hot as a toaster activate Force 4x MSAA in Dev options
PS: I'm using the note 4 SD version so be sure there might be some difference on your MTK version
