It keeps seeming to crash every time I try and go into the mode. I was curious if this were the case for others on the Pie beta? I'm on beta 2.5 with a US unlocked SD S9+
Last pie beta, exynos. I don't even have wide selfie anymore? I thought they remove it.

Try Settings in the camera app, Camera Modes, Edit mode list, turn on Wide Selfie. I guess they disabled it out of the box since it's broke.

To enable it you have to go to camera settings and then find camera modes and check it on.

Yeah. I wonder too. Probably because different users have different usage, CSC and apps installed. Maybe it's conflicting with something. I did a factory reset though. The strange part on me was that I didn't have some Samsung apps - Samsung Calendar, Calculator, Health and Samsung browser.

Did that work? I did a factory reset before installing the beta in general so I'm not sure why it wouldn't work :/

Hello guys!
Wide selfie mode is here and works for me in beta 3. Also, they removed or combined sense optimization with normal shooting. I kinda like it to be separated
But selfie on gcam is way better than stock one.
Where is wide selfie on stock?

I installed the following file for the Google Camera HDR+ and it worked. I'm using the H-ROM G6 Port, idk if that is a must.
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=817906626617934890
Works for the Lineage-based ROM I'm using (Resurrection Remix) so I'm hopeful this will work for any ROM. HDR+ isn't making any difference for me at the moment though, what settings do we use?

Official nougat h815 v29a
Entering and exiting the settings make the app crash, also the hdr+ doesn't really work as the photos look exactly the same on forced, auto and off mode
doesnt work for me.
shows a black screen as if the camera would not work. when i switch to camera it will display everything correctly, switching back to photo mode will freeze the app.
so its kinda unusable
lineage 13

Same here, there's settings to customise the HDR but I don't know which ones to use.

Doesn't matter what you choose, even opening settings and closing them without touching anything makes the app crash. The hdr+ switch is just a dummy, the photo quality and everything is just the same as stock google camera.
Try Google Camera for Marshmallow (on LG G6 it works) - more info there: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74117121&postcount=408
Did anybody manage to make HDR+ work on our G4?
I've spent 4 hours testing lots of different versions and lots of different settings but still either app crashes or there's no difference between HDR+ on and off...
If you guys have the solution please let us know

Hi everyone!
I was wondering if anyone has encountered a flash sync issue with the camera on any app (facebook, whatsapp, instagram, etc). The flash on footej camera is working as it should. I'll leave some examples
Footej

Instagram
https://i.imgur.com/MjElu9b.jpg
Thank you
Yeah it's a known bug on Android n roms. No fix for it tho
Why is it called flash synch issue? Looks like the flash time is perfect but the camera doesn't reduce the brightness properly.
That also happened to me yesterday, and I was not using Android N, but the latest version of Small EUI ROM, which uses Android M. I was testing many camera apps and most of them produced overexposed shots whenever the flash was used. Only the stock camera worked. I haven't tried Footej Camera yet, but I'll give it a shot today.

Because the flash time is the problem. It isn't timed when it should be so when the picture is taken the flash is still full brightness

Well then, I guess our only hope is Leeco releasing a new rom based on N
A few days back a new version of the app was released on app mirror.
There is no official statement whether this update is for which one of the device but I've found out that it works perfectly on OnePlus 3/3T/5. Just on the 3/3T a few things that OnePlus 5 has are not present due to hardware limitations.
This update has- A complete UI overhaul ( much intuitive according to me ) and a little quality improvement as reported by few people.

This is from the leaked build of Android Oreo beta that was covered on XDA. Someone ripped it from that build and uploaded to APKMirror. No mysteries as to where it came from.

To my devive all options are working smoothly !!!!:good:
Thanks a lot, I'm really surprised this works perfectly.
I did notice that in landscape if you pull up the menu, 2 of the options are cut off though.
Works wonderfully, excellent on the 3T with Android O. Only 2 issues I have are the landscape menu 2-options cut-off that the-blind-bandit noticed and also the pictures taken that show at the bottom-right when clicked on do not open Google Photos (I don't have the OnePlus Gallery installed) and so it just says No Photos when I click on that. The pics are still taken / saved and can be opened in Google Photos later. Minor annoyance, not usage-breaking.

Nope, it's working fine in default camera app. Idk there must be some kind of glitch with WhatsApp.
I have the same issue. Its very annoying and almost no info about it.
After this Feb 8 update the portrait mode selfies and the video call effects stopped working on my Verizon Galaxy S21+. A reboot fixes it but only for a few hours maximum. I even did the dreaded factory reset and that did not work either. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks.
what do you mean by it stopped working? it force closes?
No there is no blur effect and most of the other effects are non functional. Coincidentally video call effects stop working the same exact time so there has to be a connection there. It will work after a reboot but only for a few hours tops. Factory reset did not help. Issue popped up right after the Feb 8 update on Verizon which included updates to both the camera and video call effects.
There are also a few other people who posted about the same issue on the Samsung Community forums.
