Hello, wondering if anyone can help me, I've got two S7 edges which are softbricked stuck on the samsung home screen (bought in a job lot)
Both phones have been rooted before and have functioning TWRP on them but I'm quite new to ODIN so I'm struggling to find the correct software to flash them back to a normal unrooted state
If anyone can help that would be great as I was hoping to use them as Christmas presents

The touchscreen on my Bell Atrix has begun to lose its ability to register touches on some parts of the screen. I am hoping to send it in for repairs but it is currently rooted and sitting cozy with a custom rom. I've been searching online for the last few days for a solid guide on how to get my phone unrooted and back to stock but all the ones I found were either extremely vague or had masses of broken links. I'm hoping that somebody here has been through a similar situation and can help me out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Anybody? I hate to bump but it has been 4 days and the touchscreen has begun to get worse. I'm beginning to fear that it may lose all touch capabilities before I can get it back to stock.
ok i posted once before but got no replies. im hoping to get a little help here. my screen has been getting really fuzzy and now its getting so bad it will turn black on me.i am on stock rom and rooted but no kernel or anything else.its a gtab 10.1 wifi only. i dont have the tool to take the screws out to open it cause im wondering if it might be a loose cable or something. any ideas what will cause this? when i take a screen capture the image looks normal so its not capturing the problem with the screen itself.
pards, thats a hardware issue..if under warranty unroot and then bring it to the service center

Hi Everyone..I'm new to Android World after switching from Iphone..I have recently purchased GS3 Pebble Blue..At first phone was working great..after using it for few days i noticed the sound of everything in phone goes off and comes back after sometimes..other things n apps works perfectly fine..i have tried custom rom, updated stock rom for a day or so the sounds was there than again it goes off,now the condition is that there is a sound but equal to no sound..I'm would like to know is this a hardware issue or software issue..Please Help
If you have tried it already with different ROMs, I think that should be a hardware problem..
Try to get completly stock (triangleaway/stockrom) and put your phone in for warranty or bring it back to the shop...
Hi. I purchased a goclever Tab R106 a while ago and a few months later the touch sensitivity of it dissapeared. I sent it in for warranty and when i got it back, it stated on the reciept that they had also updated the firmware on it. All was good, but now the thing restarts itself every 5-30 minutes. I want to root it, and install new firmware on it, but im very very new to the scene (bricked my last LG optimus L9, but it was on its last legs anyway ).
It would be highly appriciated of anyone from here could help me out, as the restarting renders the tablet pretty much useless for me, and I don't have the money to get a proper one (one from samsung or so on)
Thanks in advance!
Hi everybody i am asking for advice on trying to repair a phone for a family member the phone is a galaxy alpha F variant UK stock rom, factory unlocked and unrooted the problem started after finishing a call the handset was left un attended and when it was later picked up the screen was black but does not appear broken aywhere and does not appear to respond to touch
i have tried un successfully to get it into recovery or download modes the handset turns on and the blue lights come on and you can hear the start up tone but see nothing on screen, it also charges and i have tried a new battery, odin does recognise a device but as i cant get it into download i cant flash a stock rom which i have already downloaded.
So my question is, is there any software that i can download to diagnose whether or not the screen is dead or whether it is a f/w issue or is there a way around this where i can use a different tool to get into the handset and flash a new stock rom in case the current f/w is corrupted
Thanks in advance for any useful help and advice
Please understand that i am a newb to this so if i have made some mistakes or my questions have been answered elsewhere previously i do apologise
I think it seems pretty obvious that the problem is the display itself
Hi BigHands,
I faced a problem having the exact same symptoms as yours twice in the last few month: screen was staying black but phone reacted to some "external" actions (ON/OFF), blue light.
Not sure what happened exactly, but removing the battery and trying to restart the phone finally brought the device back to life after trying more than than 10 times!!!
So in my case, the display was probably not the (only) root cause.
Really weird however that I needed to reboot the phone >10times to make it work: usually when software is screwed either one single power cycle will bring the device back to life or it will never power up again!
Anyways, a FW issue is still a possibility considering the number of bug this phone has (for the price it was sold, that phone is definitely the worse gadget I ever owned!)... But it seems there is a bunch of FW updates on going on this model accross the world, so there is still a little hope things might improve... Samsumg may have woken up; who knows...
