Hi Guys,
Have a problem with my battery. Very recently my phones shows different percentage after I restart the device at low battery. From 18 to 3%. Please see attached battery screenshot. The battery actually corresponds to the lower percentage.

Hi. I've previously send my S2 in for repair and after getting it back, there seems to be a problem with the battery. A few times when my phone is left overnight, the battery will get drained to 0% all the way from ~50%. When checking the battery usage graph, it shows a vertical drop all the way from ~50%, so I believe its not caused by rogue app. Is this a problem with the battery calibration?

can u post screenshot of battery usage screen?
hello everyone!, i have a serious battery problems:
1. battery charging takes min 8 hrs!!
2. battery Discharges very very fast
i changed battery and charger and it still the same...
BUT notice that when the phone is off - charging takes 1-2 hrs
i dont know what its the problem, can someone help? thanks.
Have the same flash boeffla kernel and increase the charging of your charger and your battery will load very fast
Device: Samsung Galaxy S3
ROM: CyanogenMod 11 (Temasek Unofficial V36 )
Kernel: Boeffla-Kernel-CM11-2.1-Beta9-
1-2 hours is normal for a charge, actually its very decent. Run full charges only. Charge ONLY when battery is less than 20% and charge continuously till 100%. Check you battery usage. If you have bluetooth, wifi, 3g and whatnot on all the time your battery life will be bad and will take longer to charge.
Search the web there are many more specific solutions.
Specify if you are on stock rom and kernel.
Edit: I would NOT increase charging current. It will decrease your battery life in long run.

Tell what firmware you are using and install better battery stats and leave it 4-5 hours on standby..see what is draining your battery post screen shots in BBS threads.. And someone would definitely help you...
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
hi guys,
i have s3 4.3 stock rom and kernel,
i saw in battery usage that the screen is 90% .....does it normally?!??!?
it seems like the screen is draining my battery, what can i do??
Lower screen brightness If you are gaming then there is hardly any solution for that. As the post before says, install better battery stats so we can help you further. Also sometimes other things draining battery may come under one name such as 'screen'. Its not new.
My phone often switches off at 20-25% and when I put it on charge, it starts charding from the percentage that it went off at. When I restart at 100%, the battery indicator shows 65-70% and I have to put it on charge again.
What seems to be issue here? Is it just the stat which needs caliberation or is it something to do with battery itself?

You sir, have a worn out battery. It needs replacing if battery life is piss poor.

But tell me, wouldn't a piss poor battery go down to the level of 0% before its demise? Why would a phone switch off at 20-25%? And this behavious is also erratic. Sometimes it shows the battery level of 1% before dying and sometimes it just dies at 20-25%.
If you ever flashed a custom software, battery stats issue should be normal. But if you didn't, it could be either bad stats or worn out battery. Find accubattery on play store, use it for few days and check battery capacity there. If it differs much than manufacturer capacity, it is time for change...
In the meantime, check this post by Motorola:

(It is for g4 but I don't see why it shouldn't work for Moto Z)

Well it thinks it's at 20-25%, but it can't deliver enough current due to wear.
Remember the iPhone slowdown brouhahah? What Apple did was downclock the processor so it doesn't draw too high from the battery.
Hello friends, Why does Samsung indicates wrong battery level when connected to the charger. Sometimes it indicates full charge and after disconnect suddenly drops and indicate 20% or 18 %. Has anyone faced this issue? I tried several times removing the battery but did not work? Where is the problem battery or phone?

Maybe you need calibrate baterry.
Hello all,
I recently got a battery replaced for my poco F1 .
The battery is currently giving me almost 5 hours of screen on time which feels less.
I discharged the phone till it switched off and charged it back to 100% to have it calibrated. Although, after I kept it on standby overnight for almost 5-6 hours, I observed the battery drained to 91% without any significant activity.
I performed some analysis by visiting the battery and performance area but found mismatch in the power consumption here and what the indicator shows.
In the attached image , my battery is down to 1% but the power consumption shows almost 2007 mah consumption i.e., 51%.
Can anyone help in letting know if it's a problem with software or the battery is weak? Because my phone switched just mins after that.
For the latter case, even if it is then shouldn't the consumption show nearly 99% consumption of the battery has less juice?
Is there any way to know if really the battery is weak or a fake?
