Hey guys, in the last month I've noticed my device randomly bootloops after a reboot. For example, just the other day I flashed Nitrogen OS 8.1 and everything ran smoothly when suddenly after about a week I rebooted my phone and got stuck in bootloop. I formatted and reflashed the ROM again through twrp and it got fixxed but I had to format my device. Today I decided to install Havoc-OS pie and again everything installed correctly but after 2-3 restarts the phone got stuck in a bootloop again. It's the first time I've encountered this problem in 2 years of flashing ROMs. I tried flashing different firmware(8.7.3, 8.11.22) but that didn't fix the problem. Cany anyone suggest a solution?
Thanks in advance.

Did both. First formatted data(where you have to type "yes") and then did a advanced data wipe(cache, data, dalvik etc...). Also, I forgot to mention that I have officially unlocked my bootloader.

Dont use havoc. It gets stuck on bootanimation. Bug.
But u say u getting bootloop. Dont copy data while initial setup wizard. Clean flash means redownloading all apps from playstore not restoring.
R using magisk?what modules ?
Custom kernel?

During initial setup wizard I chose "Set up as new device", yes I'm using latest stable magisk, no modules, no custom kernel. As I said it's the first time this has happened to me.
Update: I just did an advanced wipe data again(without format data) and the phone booted successfully again at the initial setup wizard. But I can't guarantee it won't happen again(since it happened in 2 different ROMs)

Official twrp-3.2.3-0. I decided to do a reboot just to test, and I got stuck in the boot animation once again. Rebooted again and for some reason it booted normally this time. It seems really random and that's driving me insane...

I've always used micro gapps and never had such problem. Just yesterday I flashed latest firmware, then ArrowOS pie and so far haven't faced the problem yet. Hopefully it got fixed.

Hi Guys,
Need some help here. Got a weird problem with my OpX. I have a habit of trying each and every rom on our forum. So, as usually after trying a rom for a day or two I used to revert back to my fav rom. So, I'm familiar with all those flashing stuffs. The problem right now is that I'm not able to boot into any 6.0.1 Rom that I flash. No matter what I do it doesn't boot, just stuck at bootloop. I'm just tired trying out each and every rom out on the developer's section. Wiped completely, even tried downloading the rom multiple times. Tried all type of flashing, like with gapps, without gapps, with gapps, with SU. Tried all possible combination just to end in vain . None of the rom boot into HS, it's just stuck in the bootloop .
However, I've no problem in flashing OOS, H2OS, Color OS, Cm12.1 rom. It flashes without any issues and works fine.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
Did you perform a full wipe ( sys/data/cache) when you changed android version (5.1 --> 6.0.1)

No bro, not using it. Did a dirty flash over OOS 5.1.1 by wiping data alone and it booted up. Still it doesn't boot if i do a complete wipe..
I did a factory reset on my phone and it just booted up in to twrp recovery mode and I cant get in out of it. Its stuck on it I even tried installing a custom rom to make sure i didnt delete everything somehow. Nothing is working I rooted my phone yestarday im still new to this stuff. Anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this?

I had this issue, too once. Can't recap what exactly fixed it, but I flashed TWRP again (think that didn't fix it) and then dirty flashed a ROM (in this case the same, which was already on the phone). If I remember correctly it worked after the later only. Might have also had to flash superSU. No data should be deleted if you just dirty flash (but do make a backup, should be no problem, since you are stuck in recovery anyway [emoji12]).
What ROM did you try to flash? You're rooted?

I also dont really care if I lose photos or anything I already got all of them saved on my pc before I even started rooting the damn thing. I do need to ask tho how do you dirty flash and Do i just flash twrp normally since im already in it or ??? As I said im rlly new to this
TWRP can be flashed just from inside TWRP itself. Dirty flash means not do a factory reset before flashing.
Sorry that I can't remember what fixed it, but you can get out of it, 'cause I did, too...
Just wipe cache and dalvik/art cache then install separately TWRP, ROM, GAPPS, SUPERSU again and reboot after each install step to see of you reboot to TWRP again. That's what I did.
I use latest AICP ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=69699770) but that shouldn't matter.
Hope it helps.

Wait you were trying to flash recovery for a pixel device on your g5?
What TWRP build did you flash when you said you downgraded? 3.0.2-1 or 3.0.2-0 ? What is the date on the TWRP build?

It's happened to me too! Like three times lol. Just use UpperCut / LG UP to flash the latest nougat rom. That will fix the issue. You will need to re-root after that. There are instructions in this forum that tell how to do all of that. Good luck
Well and don't flash a ROM which is not for your device...
hi i tryed to convert my redmi note 4x to global when flashing with mi flash tool i did it without clean and after that firmware finish installing but got stuck in bootloop now i flashed twrp and tryed to flash custom rom but again bootloop when i check my storage it shows 9gb now when its actual is 32gb i think i disturbed partitions any solution available?
Are you able to boot into TWRP?? If not flash TWRP first using fastboot.
Once you have access to TWRP boot into it and perform a full wipe (System + Data + Cache + Dalvik + Internal Storage). Perform a format too after wipe to be on the safer side. Now copy a custom ROM or MIUI ROM to your Internal Storage or SD card through a computer. Once copied install your ROM.
If you flashed custom ROM flash Gapps after flashing ROM. Reboot.
If you flashed MIUI, flash lazyflasher after that(or phone will be stuck at MI logo). Reboot.
You can find download links for lazyflasher here on XDA or you can google it too.

@ArK96 is right but the only thing i suggest is to, flash miui and lazyflasher first so as to properly set up the initial firmware, and partitioning. After miui boots properly, you can do anything you want. :highfive:

Go here and download the Global Stable worldwide release version firmware.
Boot into twrp wipe and format everything. Also after that reflash TWRP again using fastboot.
Once reflashed boot into TWRP and again perform a full wipe and format, then install the downloaded firmware zip. After that reboot TWRP and try flashing MIUI.

Yes. Red wolf is more MIUI friendly, it is made with OTA survival in mind. But your issue is that the ROM is not getting flashed. You can try what I said above about TWRP reflash, if it doesn't work you can go ahead and try redwolf. REDWOLF is nothing but modded TWRP, base code is still TWRP.

Good job mate.
Hello, I have a Xiaomi redmi note 4x. I wanted to install a custom ROM, so I rooted it and flashed twrp. Then I installed nitrogen os and when the device booted it showed me the error that the decryption was unsuccessful and I should do a format to fix the problem. I formatted the phone via twrp but then when it booted in nitrogen os the phone was constantly rebooting. After every reboot I continued from the place I had left. So I thought that this was a ROM problem and I flashed Resurrection Remix ROM. The reboot problem continued, so I flashed lineage ROM, but nothing changed. The device was rebooting every 1 minute. At the end I flashed mido global images for redmi note 4 with XiaoMiFlash tool. The MIUI rom was installed but the reboot problem continues. I haven't manage to set-up my language etc. at the start of installation as the device reboots all the time. Also when I should select a wifi network during the installation, it doesn't even scan for wifi network (it's like the device has not wifi).
Any help please?

I tried and I got an error or the reboot problem didn't stop (I do not remember exactly) . When I was flashing the rom, firstly I did a format in twrp and then installed it. (In twrp I selected to wipe everything except usb-otg and micro sd, which I do not have)

ohh man you dont have to wipe everything. just system, data, cache, dalvik.
Ok so, stock twrp does not support miui zips, so you gotta use redwolf recovery. Try flashing the file with redwolf and reply what happens.
Also format data and wipe before you install miui

I installed MIUI but the phone keeps rebooting. I noticed that when it booted the first time it did this: Firstly at the middle of the screen the mi logo showed up and at the bottom it said unlocked (because my phone is unlocked) and after a while where "unlocked" was it started show the loading animation. This was normal, but after a little time the screen blink and it started all over again and then the phone booted. Again I managed to go up to Network set-up (before it rebooted) but no networks was shown (like i have no wifi)

Wiped Dalvik cache after flashing the zip
