Anyone able to get this application to work? Is the Mesa kernel needed?
Nope. It was working up until some point in October and all of a sudden quit. Weird because i don't even recall any updates in between.

For the last few days, the market has worked perfectly at times and other times it will take 2 minutes just to load the first page. I'm on wifi so I don't believe that connection is a problem. Also, when I receive a notification for app updates, it will go to the downloads page but will be blank. Does anybody else have this issue or know a way to correct it?
btw, I'm on leak v3 if that matters
hey ive been having the same problem for awhile now,im also on leak v3. but im not using WIFI n when i do it still happens, dont know what it is. maybe others have had this problem but thought nothing of it,we'll see
rebooting the phone and going straight to the market seems to fix it temporarily.
-scratch that, I can get into the market but can't update anything.
New to the Maxx and I'm running on stock, rooted until the ICS OTA pushes. One thing I noticed is I'll occassionally loose auto rotation in my apps like the stock pix viewer, google maps, etc. and a restart is required to get it back.
The auto-rotate option in settings remains checked.
Interested to see if the next update fixes the issue but until then, anyone else experience this or know of a fix? Thanks!
I installed the AndroSensor app so that I could see if the sensors were still working correctly when I lost auto-rotate, and they still seemed to be registering values. So I think the problem is 100% software based.
I'm running stock, as well.
I have this prob too. Running stock rooted.

Did you solved this problem? I´m with the exact same scenario on my Rarz XT910. ICS stock rooted
I have no such problem. But u might try to install Rotation Locker app to test the rotation function. Or if you'd like to try, you could do what i wrote here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=34107613&postcount=1 maybe that will help, but i'm not sure worth a try though
Is anyone else having an issue? It says wifi mode failed to enable.
Help! Lol
works for me... maybe reinstall?

Worked fine for me after taking the OTA update to ICS.
Works for me as long as I don't use a password.
SHVR MAXX
Don't have the OTA update (one of the ICS leaks) but it works fine in WiFi mode with a password for me.

Foxfi fails on Razr after ICS
I am having issues with my Moto Razr since ICS. Foxfi only runs after a reboot. If Razr has a fresh boot, FOXFI works well. That's stinks....
If it runs for a while, and disconnects, (accidently or for a reason), a fresh boot is required to restart FOXFI. Annoying....
Error message received: Foxfi fails, use Bluetooth.
I go to Bluetooth and that fails, too.
I stop all Foxfi services, try to connect still fails.
So, both options fail unless I reboot phone. This does not happen with other members of my family using Samsun, or older phones. Any ideas?
Also, prior to ICS I was able to us Razr native/stock Bluetooth to connect my phone's 4g data to my Ipad3. Now, that fails too, as does FOXFI..
Am I doing something wrong? I don't think so, and so many others on the boards are having similar issues. I've tried so many of the ftxes and add ons, and nothing helps,
I've notified Foxfi but have not yet received any response. Any help is appreciated.
Unrooted, .211 OTA. FoxFi works fine, with or without password set. If anything, it works quicker than on GB.
I hate to say this, but after I OTA updated to 4.04 my phone wasn't running to well - I did a factory reset and used Titanium Backup to restore my apps and system settings and my phone worked very smoothly... Perhaps a reset will work for you?
Okay finally upgraded to the official OTA version of ICS. Tested FoxFi and it works perfectly, both with and without a password.

Sorry for such a slow response. Oddly enough without changing anything about 6 days later it just started working. Kind of odd.

Have you tried installing the FoxFi add on package from the play store? I don't know if it will help, but I have it installed and it works for me.

Anyone know of a fix for CM10 wifi? It stays connected (the wifi bar stays blue) but I can't download or upload anything. It will then randomly start working then stop again. I flashed to CM10 last night after being on CM9 for a few days. I had no problems with wifi in CM9. I honestly would love to just stay with CM7 but I had way too many wifi problems it drove me off the walls. CM9 seem to fix it and CM10 seems to break it again for me. Any suggestions?

Wifi works fine for me in CM10. Are you using an MX2 instead of a Droid X2? Because theres a wifi patch for MX2 users.
MX2 = Milestone Droidx2 (which is a non-Verizon version right?) I am using a Verizon Droid X2 and pretty sure it is not a MX2 as I mad the mistake and flashed the wifi patch and it wouldn't even turn on until I re-flashed everything again. When I went to CM10 last night, I SBF back to 2.3.4 before I flashed it into CM10 (I had a keyboard error that wouldn't let me do anything so I couldn't install system recovery).

I have wondered the same thing actually. I read that sometimes channels 10 and 11 cause issues so I changed that. What makes me think it is something else, is that it happens randomly on just about any wifi. Sometimes it just won't connect and I have to keep trying, other times it connects perfectly and has no issues. Other times it works fine then it just starts not working. I am in the process of doing an SBF since I did something to cause it to bootloop.
Well if it doesnt fix the problem, try using something like wifi fixer in the play store.

I couldn't get it to work and have no time to mess around with it. I flashed back to Android 4.04 and everything is working fine. I play around with it this weekend and see if that app works. Does your Android 4.1 flash so the up and down arrows in the your wifi showing data activity?

I'm not connected to wifi right now so I cant look at it. But off the top of my head, I'm pretty sure it does show activity on the icon.

It is so weird. Decided to flash back, got on wifi no problem then it just stops working. It shows I am connected but not fully connected (gives grey signal bars). CM9 works fine for wifi but CM7 and CM10 have been giving me big hassles.
Howdy,
I'm having problems with NFC I have not been able to solve with hours of googling and thought someone may have run into the same issues before. I am trying to program an NFC tag, but my phone doesn't detect the tag or my Nexus 7 tablet (which detects the tags just fine). I'm running the latest Venom ROM and also just did a Factory Reset and reflashed the ROM to no avail. I tried taking off my case, cleaning the contacts on the back cover, holding the tag all around the camera where the hardware is supposed to be and I don't get anything. I have one of the special NFC-enabled SIMs as well, not that that should matter as I haven't tried the ISIS app yet. The tags are NTAG203s. Anyone ever run into something like this?
Just chiming in and letting you know that I have had NFC issues with the Verizon version since the KitKat update...

Glad I'm not the only one, thanks for your reply... out of curiosity are you running stock? I neglected to mention I'm running a Viper ROM but I'm sure there would be more complaints if there was an issue with the ROM.
Fixed!
Hate to respond so late but I figured I would just in case it helps someone-- turned out to be an 1D10T error. I was able to locate a setting in the Viper ROM settings that I was unaware of (Viper Tweaks App --> Misc --> NFC Restrictions). I switched the option to no restrictions and I can now use my NFC tags. Just a tap and I connect to the guest WiFi at work and launch my VPN
Oops never saw your response. Was all stock. I'm about to sell the device. Resetting and will test one last time.
