Hi there, so ive been messimg with some themes and wallpapers from the themes app. Dint quite like any if them so i went back to stock rog ui theme, heres the thing, my icons wont turn completly red when i turn on the x mode. But just go reddish, still can see the original color of the icons. What is wrong and how do i get back the full red ones on x mode?
Im not sure what the problem is that you are having as i can switch between ROG UI Theme (default) to Heart Stone Theme within the Theme App > Me > My Themes (Click Continue) once its applied i have all my icons normal and all show a red ring when xmode is activated.
I personally prefer the Black/Red theme through out the phone over the orange which is why i swapped to this theme along with it being a very dark theme to help on screen / battery time
Dont know either what is causing this, i tried to clear cache from rog ui app and from zenui launcher, switching back and forth some themes but to no avail

I just got this phone and have been on it 3 days now. I have themed out to black with blue accent and settings with quicktiles are black with the blue accent. It's a pixel 2 theme. I am also using Nova launcher prime.
Now this issue could be because of the theme or a phone things.
I never had the black icons at the top ie: battery prevent, signal bar, time, etc, the icons are so black. I let the phone go to 3% battery so I thought maybe that was a phone feature but I charged it to 30% and am currently at 26% battery but the icons are still black.
I would like to have them white like normal, regardless of the battery level.
So is this a setting in missing? I'd this a theme thing? Or is this a phone things that cannot be controlled? Maybe even a nova launcher prime thing?
On a side note, even I still in the web browser, or an app I get the white icons like normal.
It's your theme.
See my status bar icons on stock theme. I also have Nova launcher Prime.
My colors never change because of battery level.
Yeah, I apologise if I made any confusion. I found out what it was. It's Nova launcher. There is a setting under look & feel, called use dark icons. I had that ticked. I unchecked it and icons are now fine.
Again I do apologise for not checking first. But on a plus side I guess, if anyone has a similar issue they can find this thread. I should really know better bring a techy.
I have enabled the dark theme on my phone however is there any way to change the white background of notifications? I would like those darker as well.
I'm pretty sure you need an app called Power Shade - I'm just installing it myself to have a play with...

Thanks for the find! How is it working so far?
Use the Deep Black Theme from the themes topic. Really nice.
Hi everyone.. I'm at a loss and don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Let's start saying I'm a super noob with this so all I do is just by trial and error.
Anyway, I have a theme I made with some custom image from my phone. I really like it, but no matter what I try, the color behind the notifications (not the quick menu, that one is fine with the shade of blue I picked) always remains white and so does the main settings background. (the settings background in the dialer app instead, for instance, changes fine, with the same file...??)
I don't understand what or where this white is located cause I've pretty much tried to replace everything white that isn't font or button colors... Yet no luck. Maybe it's hidden somewhere I can't see it?
Basically in the latest theme manager, I go to Home screen, settings, and under background I put a .9.png file. But this image is never reflected in the theme when I apply it. I don't know if this is what affects the notification color either, but I have no other clue what could be since it's the only 2 things that remain white in the theme!
I know it's possible to definitely change notification BG color in emui 10 themes because I have downloaded some who have green or red/blue notifications and those changed fine.... So I copied them from phone to pc and selected import in the theme studio cause I wanted to check where the difference was... But when I import them they revert to default. Maybe they're protected (rightfully so!) or something?
If anyone who makes themes could kindly help or tell me where the exact setting for the notification colors is, it would be a great help, or if anyone knows why that image doesn't get applied to the theme!
Thanks!
Good morning.
This is my first Xiaomi and MIUI experience, and I have a question related to the Google Discovery in the Xiaomi stock launcher.
Is it normal that Google Discovery in Xiaomi Stock Launcher to be always White, even when Dark Mode is activated?
It isn't supposed to switch to dark mode?
Another thing in Xiaomi Launcher, the application drawer is supposed to switch between white or black depending the wallpaper we use regardless Dark Mode is activated or not?
Anyone can answer?
Is this behavior a normal thing to happen?
Have dark mode in all system, just the Google discovery feed, in the left side of the Miui Launcher still white as snow!
That makes no sense if it is normal to be white when all system is dark.
And wallpaper messes up with app draw background color, from white to black, if set to follow system colors and system is in clear mode?

Click to collapse
Google feed for me is dark in dark mode. I can't comment on app drawer as I don't use it
So, I assume there's a problem with my MIUI Launcher, I already clean all data from Launcher and it's all the same.
White... In dark mode.
Does anyone have any suggestion, or know something to fix this behavior?
This just happened out of the box.
It came with MIUI 11 and updated to MIUI 12 immediately, so, don't know why this behavior and how to fix it.
I've already figured out how to activate Dark Mode on the Google Discovery feed in the MIUI Launcher.
It is necessary to restart the smartphone or for example change the icon pack or theme to change it, otherwise it will not change the actual state.
I noticed that doesn't matter what theme I use from the MIUI theme store my phone, contacts and messages icons stay on this ugly white icon. (On a few themes the contacts icon changes but the phone and messages still don't) Even if I set the default POCO theme those icons still stay the same.
In the images below I posted what I should be seeing and what I am getting. This issue is displayed with the default stock POCO theme but this applies to any theme also.
