Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy S7. Thing is I tried some custom Oreo ROMs, but then I decided to go back to Nougat. After a coupleof attempts to install EOL super stock I succeded but it didn't detect my SIM card. After that I tried to go back to Oreo and in between processes a message showed up saying my internal storage was corrupted and I couldn't repair it from recovery, because it said something about error 8.
Tried to flash stock Nougat ROM after that but nothing happened and now the phone only enters download mode but since the internal storage is corrupted I can't even flash a stock ROM and neither can enter recovery, only main screen.
What can I do???? I'm desperate.

I don't have this device but, your best bet is to post this question within the following Q&A thread that's specific to your device and variants.

I was trying to flash the stock recovery, in order to install the new OTA update. I was in Rom Manager, and hit "boot to recovery". Now it boots to LOGO, tries to boot to recovery then loops back. I can get to the Download mode, but the installed driver is not recognizing. Unidentified device. If I force the driver, it gives me a code 10 error, Could not turn device on in the windows device manager.
Wrong forum mate

docfate83,
I'm having the same issue. Did you ever get an answer?
I'm assuming Verizon 4G LTE Model.
You can use the image in the following link to return your Tab 10.1 completely out of the box stock. Apply all of the updates, and then reroot.

Hello everyone,
I know that this is my first post, but in recent weeks i have been using the useful information posted by your community to succesfully root and flash my device. I have, however, reach a wall and am unable to find any other information to lead me past this wall. That leads me to this post. Maybe my experiences will help others to reach an answer that seems to have eluded all of our brains.
My device:
US Cellular Samsung Galaxy S3 16 GB Version
Android 4.1.2
1. Successfully rooted my device, gaining access to SuperUser App and root file access.
2. Installed TWRP Custom Recovery, backed up custom recovery image of stock ROM and apps (image of my phone as it was before flashing)
3. Found a ROM suitable to my device, carrier, and needs (Eclipse v5.1 Build 5)
4. Flashed ROM using correct procedure (factory wipe, flash ROM, flash GAPPS, reboot)
5. Rebooted phone while new ROM was in place (Eclipse)
6. Restored all info as it was before
7. Went to use camera, received error message "Cannot connect to camera"
8. Proceeded to see if any camera apps would solve problem (FXCamera, Instagram, etc), received same error message when trying to access camera portion of these apps
9. Explored other options (Flashed other camera apps onto my phone hoping this would solve problem)
10. Relaunched phone and received same error message when trying to open these camera applications
***********************************
1. I recovered to the stock ROM using TWRP, and attempted to access the Camera Firmware screen using code *#34971539# and this resulted in nothing happening on my phone. No change in screen, the code just sits in the stock dialer.
****Why is this?
****Why wont my phone access the camera firmware screen?
I have a feeling that i need to find a corresponding firmware in this list
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2006128
And follow the listed process in this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...6#post40409206
My hope is that this results in the camera fully functioning within my custom ROM that i have chosen.
For now though, i guess any input that you have on my situation would be greatly appreciated. I feel as if i have exhausted every thread on the internet regarding this topic. Why cant i get to the firmware screen? Do you think this will fix the situation? Why wont the camera connect when im running my custom ROM?
Thanks in advance everyone, really appreciate all that you do here. Your knowledge helps many.
so why are you posting in the i9300 section?

Because the device in question is Samsung Galaxy S3? Should I be posting in a different section of the forum? Is an i9300 not the model number for a Samsung Galaxy S3?

Games are a part of Life but Life is not a part of a game!
I've been using AOKP Task360 on my M8 and today (for the second time) my phone booted up into this screen saying I need to "Type password to decrypt storage" when i never encrypted. I noticed this happened after my phone was dead out of battery and I booted up after charging for some time, which I remember was what happened last time this occured. Last time I had to resort to completely wiping everything in recovery and reflash AOKP, Gapps, and such. The only problem now is that my recovery on my phone hasn't been booting up recently and i was gonna fix that this weekend, but for now my phone can't access recovery. Before this happened I tried to install it with the TWRP app, and I tried pushing it with ADB Fastboot, because I was outdated anyway. This somehow corrupted the recovery I guess. Anyway I really don't want to have to go through resetting everything again, I just finished the whole constant maintenance phase recently and it was perfect. So is it possible for me to bypass this glitch? Is it possible for me to flash a new recovery from my pc without "decrypting"? Thank You. Also if this is in the wrong spot I'm sorry. PLEASE HELP ME
PS While I'm typing this my phone is making beeping noises while in that decrypt menu, as if its getting notifications.
ALSO I tried using "fastboot erase userdata" didn't work. I can't use any ADB commands apparently because I don't have access "remote:not allowed"
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. In order to help you properly can you please tell me which M8 variant you have? For example, the at&t model? The Sprint model? The international model?

AT&T model, I should have mentioned that. I think the at&t and the international model are the same, because when you need to clarify its either Verizon, Sprint, or International

Thanks for the extra information. They're all actually different variants with separate sections on XDA. Please standby while we have your thread/question moved to the appropriate sub-forum for your device.
For future reference you can find your device sub-forum here (bookmark/subscribe this):
AT&T HTC One (M8)
Within that section you will find a dedicated q&a sub-forum (this is where your thread is going to be moved to):
AT&T One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck!

That would not be sound advice, as task is unavailable and will be for some time. Having a person ask a question in a "dead thread" is unhelpful.
It would be better to search the web for the AOKP site and see if question can be answered.
Hi. I've suddenly come across this problem as well on my rooted, s-off, but stock ROM. I've been searching for a remedy to it as well but can't seem to find anything that works. I've tried doing a factory reset. I've formatted data, including in my internal storage. These don't work. I also tried to restore a system Nandroid and flashing a flashable RUU. No luck. It keeps taking me to the password screen. Can someone point me to some other tips to fixing it? I doubt I can bring it back to AT&T since I'm rocking a custom recovery.

My device is a Huawei honor 7 lite (nem-l21) with bootloader unlocked but not rooted. I was trying to install twrp, but i was not able to get it to boot twrp, so i googled my problem and found a person on stackoverflow with the same problem who said that he typed fastboot flash boot twrp.img and it worked. I did that and my phone wont start and it is stuck at your phone is booting now... I have tried using huawei erecovery but it shows the message retrieving packet information failed, and i have tried flashing stock firmware via sd card but it sais that the firmware is not compatible, even though i have tried multiple downloads of the nem-l21 firmware. If anyone will help me make my phone usable again, or tell me if my phone has any chanse of working again, please tell me.
