Jio sim "mobile network not available" - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

Hello guys,
I am facing a real big issue after updating to the stable android pie release on my poco f1
I am using a jio sim. The incoming calls are not shown on the phone. Whenever a call comes to my number it never shows on the phone the caller will hear the dialer tone as normal
Also when I try to make a call it shows a message mobile network unavailable, mobile data and sms works fine all this time.
When I reboot the phone none of the issues are there for 15 to 20 minutes then it comes back.
There were no issues when i put the sim in the second sim slot but I need to have the same card.
I am really frustrated about this issue, I have missed many important calls as it never showed up on the phone
I cannot find any one else facing this issue. What could be the reason for this ? I hope it's some kind of software bug that can be fixed.
Please help me to fix this guys
Thank you

Factory reset, install the new update 10.1.3.0 from sd card.

Power ONmode but it says switched off when someone tries to call

I am facing this problem since 2 years now. I am using docomo. My phone is always in power ONmode but it says switched off when someone tries to call me. But the moment I make a outgoing call or restart again, I am able to receive the call until next time when problem starts. I was using stock ROM and now lineage . I have bought new sim also . But still no use. I miss important calls .
Any help ?
Have you tried
1. Under wifi settings make sure 'sleep mode' off
2. under 'App notification' allow Phone app
I use default settings only
For WiFi currently , it is
Keep WiFi on during sleep : always
And phone app also. App determine importance of notification.
Are the sensors working or not?

It happens once a while. only like in once a month.
For receiving call which sensor is required?
Have you tried Sims of any other operator ?
My primary no is Docomo only. Other sim (Vodafone, airtel) keep changing so not observed this. I change slots though .
Remove Docomo for an hour. Keep any other SIM. Let the phone go to sleep (may be after 30 min). Give a call to that no and see? if it is working put docomo in some spare phone and try MOTO with other SIM for a day.
OK I'll give a try

I'm facing the same issue. 3-4messages are going good but after that I'm unable to send any messages. Unless or untill I restart my device.
Change the sim

I faced the same issue with my airtel sim.. i wasn't able to send any message , but i was receiving messages and the smsc number was incorrect (+7) and couldn't be updated..
This issue is due to the sim card...
Go to the airtel store and ask them to give you a new sim ( your number remains the same).... they charged me Rs.25...
The new sim activates within 3 hrs...
But still you wont be able to send messages for next 2-3 days after activation..
Once you get a message from airtel stating the change of sim ..you will be able to send and receive messages....
Yes, the problem was with the sim not device. Got the new sim, able to send messages. No issues

You probably have an incorrect number saved in the SMSC setting.
To change this, go through the following steps:
1. Google the SMSC number for your particular service provider and state. Ex: "SMSC number for Airtel Karnataka".
2. Now, Go to settings > System apps > Messaging > Additional settings > Short message service center
In the pop up that appears, enter the number that you found as part of step 1. Make sure you prefix the number by +91.
3. Click OK after entering the number.
Once you perform this step, you'll lose the network connection momentarily, after which it'll be restored.
You should now be able to send messages from your Poco phone.
Note: This solution only works if you're not able to send messages from your number, but are able to receive messages.
If you got a new Airtel SIM for your Poco phone, allow 24 hours for messaging services to be unblocked. Airtel blocks messaging services on new SIMs to avoid SIM swap scams.

Need help, dual SIM (standby) intermittent "no network connection"

Trying to solve a problem for a customer at work, dual SIM standby device (kazam trooper) experiencing problems on one SIM only, when trying to make outbound calls, only works roughly one in ten times. 90% of the time will get "not connected to network" error. Incoming calls are always fine, and inbound.amd outbound texts also working okay. No issues with mobile data. Previously worked fine for outbound calls. Nothing changed, SIMs still I'm same slots. Ran through SIM management and mobile network settings with a fine tooth comb. Unable to find anything obvious.
Out my.depth with dual.sim, please help. Could having mobile data enabled on SIM2 affect SIM1 ability to make calls?
Sometimes new upgraded sim card is a solution. Ask operator for replacement its free of charge.

Sim & Mobile Network issues

I am using POCO F1 mobile and have sim inserted in both slots. At times the second sim gives the notification as mobile is switched off when someone calls me. They call in my first sim and inform my second number is switched off. If I check my device I could see indication for full signal. I generally re-start my device and this activates the second sim and I get missed call notificaiton.
What could be reason for this. I feel I am missing some important calls as my second number is used for professional connects.
