I have just recently bought an Acer Iconia One 10 b3-a40. It comes with android 7.0 but is there any way I can upgrade it to android 8.0? I see online that other tablets from Acer have it but I cant find it on Acer site and under device settings/ check for update it says up to date. Is there a way to get android 8 for it from an outside source?

So, I got my hands on this Acer Iconia Tab 8, given away at the Yahoo after party of I/O 2014. Baytrail based. Wanted to root it. Adb doesn't list it, fastboot doesn't detect it in fastboot mode either. Anybody knows a way to root it, yet? Maybe the baytrail android tablets have a common solution? Thanks in advance.

If this site is right then the device came with Jelly Bean https://www.gsmarena.com/acer_iconia_tab_b1_a71-5239.php an android device can´t support a version that never came with it.
Hi Guys. I Got Tablet Acer Iconia a200 [android 4.0.3]. Most of websites not work - "Connection is not secure". I suspect that is problem with old certificates. It's possible to fix that?
