Help Locking Bootloader/Returning to Stock - Honor 10 Questions & Answers

Hi All,
I'm really stuck on this so any help would be much appreciated.
I recently unlocked my phone in order to install TWRP & root with magisk. This all seems to work but as soon as I boot to EMUI magisk manager reports Magisk is not installed. Then when I try going back to TWRP to re-flash its gone as well. TBH I don't need root and its proving way harder to do on this phone than I've found in the past.
I really want to return to stock with full lock but can't work out how to do it. Just doing 'fastboot oem lock' and 'fastboot oem relock <code>' fails. I've also tried to use HuRUpdater using the guide here but my storage is encrypted so I can' t get at the files in the first place. Plus I have to reflash TWRP everytime. And ADB push doesn't seem to help get the files over either.
So very stuck! Any help would be greatly appreciated
I'm currently on 9.0.0.159(C432E4R1P9)
Thanks

Help, i may have bricked my oneplus X

Lets start off with telling you i am a newbie and was just following tutorials without really knowing what i was doing.
That said, i tried to install a custom ROM but got an error (7) in TWRP. Decided to reflash my old rom and update TWRP using the official TWRP app.
So i did that but when i wanted to boot into recovery it was stuck on the oneplus screen. I went into fastboot and typed fastboot oem unlock because i thought i could flash TWRP that way if the bootloader was unlocked.
When i tried to restart it gave me nothing but the oneplus screen, even the bootloader wont start. I shut it off completely and now it doesn't give me anything at all - just black.
Can someone help me out?
EDIT:
Issue resolved using THIS. Tyvm

Need Help on TWRP

Hello all. I've been trying to flash Helios rom for my s7 edge but I keep failing. First of all, my device is exynos so it should be good to root. However, when I check TWRP page it says ''This device uses dm-verity!
This means that swiping to allow system modifications will prevent you from being able to boot if you are using the stock kernel. In order to bypass dm-verity's boot prevention, you will have to install a kernel that has dm-verity disabled in the fstab.''
I've tried flashing TWRP but failed into a bootloop, flashed a stock rom to recover. The rom needs TWRP to be installed and I just can't get it working. Maybe I'm using a wrong version of TWRP, or doing something wrong? Any help is appreciated, thank you.
Edit - I faced ''recovery is not seandroid enforcing'' on my last try. Been trying different rooting files to find anything works. Couldn't find anything yet.

Flash fastboot rom with clean+lock. Then boot your device and set up. Then unlock it
Are you suggesting him to flash a complete new rom which might cause loss of data

TWRP for Ulefone S8 Pro? General help needed also please!

Hello. Hope someone can please help. I'm trying to install TWRP on my Ulefone S8 Pro. I've done something like unlock the bootloader so far with ABD. At boot I now get a message saying 'Orange State. Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted' then the phone proceeds to boot up OK and all is fine. However I want to install TWRP so I can flash a Magisk Zip to root the phone (I hope that makes sense) !.
What is my next move please. I can't seen to find a compatible TWRP for a start and I'm not sure how to flash Magisk Zip to root phone without it.
Thank you so much!
Same here, every twrp found givr me bootloop
For this phone, you only can boot twrp, not replace the recovery with twrp, so boot into twrp you can install magisk and all you want

Question Bootloader serial_mismatch after flashing stock

Title.
After playing around with root and some custom ROMs i wanted to return to OOS, I had a few troubles doing that but eventually I succeeded.
I still wanted to have root access though so I tried going to flash TWRP, but was met by the message "serial_mismatch" followed by a system reboot.
This is persistent, regardless off physically trying to boot in to bootloader or through adb.
Fastbootd works, I can flash stuff with success but it seems like it doesn't actually flash since I can't boot into TWRP after flashing it in fastbootd.
I tried mtkclient, both on windows and on livedvd, my device gets found but on windows I get handshake failed until it ultimately reboots and on livedvd it gets stuck on "trying kamakiri2" endlessly.
Also, my safetynet check fails, even though I am on stock everything without root!
Any thoughts on what I can do here?
All help is greatly appreciated.
Hi there, what version of OxygenOS are you currently using?
Currently on 12.1 latest update (DN2013_11_C11). I tried the downgrade packages but as I can't access recovery or fastboot I can't downgrade either.
Please try this method: https://community.oneplus.com/thread/1596759 After downgrade you will have option to relock your phone and safetynet should pass. Let me know if it helped.
Thanks, already tried that but it fails to rollback as well
