Extreme PUBG Lag Problem, Please Please Please HELP, Pls - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

Hello,
Thank you so much for jumping in this thread & I desperately need your help, kindly read on.
I was a happy satisfied user of POCO (with known touch issues) which I primarily bought for PUBG until last month.
SInce last month or from Vikendi Map update, during gameplay, my game LAGS or hangs for a second, it happens every 10-15 second of gameplay. This is extremely irritating.
To overcome PUBG Lag issue, I tried following ways
1. Changing PUBG Graphics settings to from HDR to HD, Balanced and even smooth,
reduced frame rates - Didn't work.
2. Uninstall & Install again - Didn't work.
3. Hard Reset & Fastboot Install - Worked for gameplay of around 1 hour, again LAG
4. Installed Custom Kernel - Franco, Extreme, SDClang with Performance governor in Kernal auditor or Performance profile in FK manager app and other possible tricks- randomly smooth gameplay for sometime ( 20% of total gameplay), then again heavy lag.
5. Now installed MIUI Global Beta 9.1.10 - Not Working
6. Repair option within PUBG - didnt work
Funniest part we bought 2 POCO phones , other for my brother and without any issues or lag gameplay is perfect in his phone even on HDR and Ultra setting.
I'm not a die hard gamer, but I love to play PUBG for around 1 Hour in evening after work but this unfortunate event has ruined it.
I request you all fellow members, Kindly suggest me a way out of this to make my gameplay smooth again, or atleast suggest me a way to find out the cause behind this.

for me this works very well and pubg runs smoothly
1) make a clean install of nitrogen os with kat kernel and magisk
2) install smanager app from google play
3) open the app, in the first pop up click on "navigate with root permissions" or something like that, then when you open any folder, you give the root permissions.
4) create a script with this code and save it:

echo 2 > /sys/class/thermal/thermal_message/sconfig
5) run like root
6) install pub gfx+ (I have the paid version just to support the dev, but you can have the XDA version, it's in XDA lab) and put this settings:
-zero lag mode+battery ON
-graphics profile: smooth with max fps
-potato graphics ON
-HW rendering: opengl 2.0
-GPU optimization: apply all
-memory boost at your choose
-safe mode ON
-Save sensitivity at your choose
remember select the resolution that you like, I have 1080p, and your game variant in the beginning.
7) if you have pubg in the ram, remember to close before and then click on apply, pubg will open, when you will be in the lobby, go to settings, graphics, make sure the settings are correct (smooth+extreme), and go to the end and disable the auto-adjust graphics.
now you can test if all go well, if not, you could change the code of script from 2 to 10 and see, if still with 10 runs bad idk how you could solve it

or you can try thermal configure app made for poco
give it a try, it does help and yeah that lag you notice is an issue of PUBGM now.

Update - surprisingly, lag issue for me started with Vikendi map launch update which was specific to my poco, not with another poco bought, but now, after yesterday's update, lag is again gone, I used to think that issue was with my phone as same game ran smoothly on another poco, but now new pubg 180mb update again makes it smooth. So what was the prpblem?

The problem was in the game, they've already fixed it.

your phone got heat, not because gameplay i assume. maybe poor sim signal.

No sir, my phone doesn't get heated much, and just about a month ago, I was able to play on HDR smoothly

Flash LOS 16. Use the thermal mode for pubg. Enjoy stutter free pubg.

Dude ..if you have turned on the game booster in poco, I knidly suggest you to turn of game booster app . Restart once and make sure the game booster is turned off . Now try to play pubg.

I also am starting to have this problem since a week. Frame rate drops to 20fps during fights! [Smooth + extreme fps] I did installed Nitrogen OS again to see it fixes but NO, none of the system thermal profiles seem to be helping. I even removed all my magisk modules and uninstalled EdXposed completely.. It makes me frustrated! I am unable to play cause of this.

I suggest to uninstall PUBG and make a clean install ... it's working well for me

What is your battery temperature while playing? If its 45°C+ thats thermal throttle. You need atleast 42°C lower to play smooth

For now it works fine on lower temp levels. But when temp gets increases or the battery gets low, it starts to drop frame massively...
