I just got my new Amazfit Pace watch and put it into operation.
One thing I do not understand is one option under Settings-General of the watch. There is one switch called "Auto sync" which is set to "off" by default.
For what is this option? I have noticed a sync of my data (health and sports) takes place when opening the app "Amazfit Watch" although this option is set to "Off".
If you set option "Auto Sync" to "on" the watch does auto sync automatically also if you don't open the APK Amazfit Watch.
I had tested this functionality but I don't saw nothing of different.

I believe Auto-Sync attempts to connect using WiFi to Xiaomi servers and upload the data. If no known WiFi is found, nothing happens.
The sync is a mess

Whatever I try, the workout data which flow correctly from the watch to the App (tried both on IOS and Android) doesn't go to my Strava account (which is of course correctly configured in the App settings).
I have to export gpx data, copy the file to my PC and manually upload through the Strava Web page in order to have it also there.
This is really annoying.
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks
Federico
1. Only outdoor activities which have GPS data will be synced to Strava;
2. If it's not working, go to Strava website, Settings -> My Apps and revoke Amazfit access then add it again on Amazfir app;
3. If it still doesn't work, you may have a problem with your data: unpair watch, pair again and repeat step 2 above. If still fails, do the same but DO NOT restore data to watch when pairing again. Only activity saved after Strava sync is enabled will be sent to Strava.

Hi guys, i have problem with syncing my activities from amazfit watches app to strava. In amazft watches app a i have added my strava account, so i could sync them. Syncing ends well, but no activity appears on strava(activities are with gps coordinates, such as cycling and running). Can you hepl me solve this problem? Thanks
Amazfit Watch app version 2.5.0.1
Strava version 52.0.0
Watches ROM version 2.0.24.0
Logout from Amazfit app, go to Strava website, Settings -> My Apps, revoke access to Amazfit. Then login back to Amazfit, your watch should be paired automatically, then add your Strava account again. If it doesn't work, then you may need to do this again but unpair the watch first (it will erase all data on watch) and answer NO when it asks if you want to restore old data to watch. Note that only new activities will be sent to Strava, old ones only manually.

If you have revoked Amazfit access to Strava as explained and then activated it again, probably it's a problem with Huami servers and it should be fixed in one day or two (sync is done via the cloud, not the phone as most people think). Be aware that old activities, saved before you activated sync, won't be sent to Strava, you must do it manually by exporting them as GPX on watch, copying them to computer and finally importing to Strava website.
How to send send data in GPX format from watch to phone? And where to find it on the phone?

Hi all,
what i want is sincronize my sports data, stored on my watch, to de amazfit app automatically.
i try with a tasker profile to run every X hours that launch on my smartphone the amazfit app, but the sincronize of the spaorts data dont work unless that the phone was unlocked and the app at spotlight.
Is there any way to force the app to update data running on background? Someone comes up with some way to do it?
Thanks a lot
yes.
if you have amazfit pace, go in
Settings> General > auto Sync> on
if you do that, your amazfit pace will send a data to your smartphone automatically

I just have the autosync on, but the problem is not that the watch not syncronize, the problem is that the sincro not works unless the app ont work unless that the phone was unlocked and the app at spotlight... and i want to sincro with the app running background.
Thanks anyway
Probably it is not a good idea: it needs WiFi (it will send data directly to the cloud) and use a lot of battery... Simply open the app from time to time, if it doesn't sync automatically, pull down from top to force a sync.
I just bought(2 weeks ago) an Amazfit Stratos 3 (A1929) and have installed the Amazfit App (3.6.2). The watch is running ROM 4.2.4.0 and has been paired with the app. However, the only thing that the Amazfit app can display about the watch is the battery %. I have the watch set to auto sync and have done a manual sync. Whenever I start the Amazfit app, it says "Syncing data" at the top left corner. When that is complete, the workout details show 0 steps, "no sleep data" and no "heart rate data" Has anybody experienced this with their Amazfit app/Stratos 3 before, because I tried Googling and I cannot seem to find any info on this.
Oh and yes I have also done the following (at least 3 times).
1. Unpair watch
2. Uninstall Amazfit app
3. Re-install Amazfit app
4. Re-connect to watch
For a long time now, after upgrading to the Zepp app, I have a problem syncing my Stratos 2 watch. The app is endlessly syncing without ever completing synchronization. This might take half an hour, so I close the app. Sometimes, I try to close the app and relaunch it, but with no success. Once in a while, the synchronization is successful. This may happen once in a week. that is 1 out of 10-15 tries.
Has anyone else a similar experience with the new Zepp app?
Also, what I have noticed is that, after a sync, my settings regarding on the various sports have changed to the default values, so I have to do the settings all over again. That's very frustrating.
Sync on your Stratos 2, it's more reliable
Yeah, Zepp syncs hit-or-miss style here.
What I do is turn bluetooth and GPS on on my phone, start Zepp, then use the Sync option on my Stratos 2 - using wifi it syncs 100% of the time; it's pretty slow, but under like 90 seconds everything's uploaded to the Zepp server (so to my Strava account too).

Thank you for your advice. Yes, it's working all the time and it's much quicker than the Zepp sync.
Meanwhile, I had sent a question to Amazfit Support and I got the following reply, if that is any worthwhile:
>Thank you for contacting Amazfit/Zepp.
>
>Regarding the syncing issue, could you please reboot your watch and phone to have a try?

>If it doesn't work, please attempt the following steps:
>* Swipe down from the watch home screen and you can see a nut icon Settings
>* Tap Settings to open.
>* Swipe UP until you find Data Sync
>* Tap Data Sync and choose Manual Sync to upload the watch data
>* Reinstall the latest Zepp app
>* Reboot your phone and your watch
>* Clear Bluetooth cache and data
>* Turn off and on the Bluetooth on your phone
>* Log out of the app and re-login to connect/sync the data
