What antenna do you use that is so sensitive?
ok, inside the top floor of our offices! just making the point that the bt gps units don't need separate antennas and work really well.
my Holox BT-321 is 4cm X 8cm X 1.5cm

Does anyone know the term for what they are using for 3D movies in the theaters now? It's not the red/blue glasses one, but the one that looks more like some kind of cheap sunglasses thing?
The followup question, of course, will be to find out if anyone knows a way to convert our Evo 3D images to something that can be used with said technology?
Basically I am looking for any way to view the 3D stuff from our phones without dropping $150 for the nVidia kit or having to buy a whole new LCD TV.

I think they call it real 3d. Atleast that's what it says on the side of the glasses
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA App
Real3D is just a brand, like Disney 3D. Like Sony's version or whatever. It has little to do with the technology. The person who mentioned polarized glasses is mostly correct. Both home TVs and theaters work on basically the same principle which uses either "active" or "passive" glasses.
Active glasses charge and have batteries. Passive glasses are the ones at the movies. LG 3DTVs have also moved to non-powered glasses.
These are all called "stereoscopic" technologies. All are slightly different and it is a complex discussion.
I didn't read your entire question...but no...you'd have to invest the money to see 3D. Period. You will need a 3DTV, a 3D Enabled projector (with the nVidia 3D system) or the nVidia 3D setup with a compatible monitor. It is all very complex technology. And there is no way to just make it work otherwise. Buy yourself come red/blue glasses. Upload all of your content to youtube, then there is a 3D button in the lower left hand corner that lets you convert it to anaglyph (red/blue). So then you can watch it with those glasses on your TV. But the quality will suck

Any way to do it without Youtube and keeping it on the local computer?

The theaters where I live use active glasses. There is a sensor in the middle of the brim that gets the sync signals. If you cover that sensor with your finger, no more 3D. I think more and more theaters are going with active 3D.
This is just a placeholder
It will launch with screen protectors. Lol.
I'm so waiting for my dock, wishd HTC would have also provided Dock with speakers tho...

The problem with keeping the phone on the table is that the sound of the ringtone is muffled due to the placement of the speaker on the back and I miss most of the calls if I'm not attentive. Even my HTC desire has speaker on the back, thus I got a dock for it. Now, I'm eagerly waiting for a dock for my HTC Radar.
P.S - HTC's speakers suck!
sweet thanks
It would of been cool if they at least threw in some headphones... smh

What's it do when you try? Who makes the drawing tablet? I know my Wacom pen doesn't work.
just ordered a htc view, and waiting for it to arrive. havent got the pen with it as far as know.
but i got a drawing pad, its not wacom - dont know what it is though...
but since its not working for you, i guess it will not work for me either....
The pen technology is N-Trig. Wacom is a better but not whats available to us. Wacom has no battery. N-Trig uses a battery. You most likely have an N-Trig pen, but there's also a good chance it could be some proprietary pen also. You won't know till you try unless you can find out what you've already got.
My evo 3d ear speaker sucks. I swapped it out once for an "oem" one I bought off ebay, and voice still crackles. So I been looking around to see which other speakers may fit with minimal modification and sound better. I also noticed that most of the HTC phones use this very same speaker. Aria HD Onex etc... I got a iphone 3g laying in a pile somewhere for parts. I will pull the speaker out and test fitment later.
hmm looks like the nexus speaker is the same as well.. Im gonna order one and give it a shot.
