Did you resolve the problem? I have same problem

All you need to do is go to official download page, download your official latest rom and flash
Download the most recent firmware and flash in Odin. (There is instructions on how to download the correct firmware in the post)

Brom error: S_ft_readback_fail (4009)

Hello everyone,
I'm having trouble flashing any ROM via flash tool. I'm getting:
BROM ERROR: S_FT_READBACK_FAIL (4009)
Readback for flash fail!
Does anyone have pointers on how to fix this error.
What I did wrong is I flashed a 8GB stock S222 via the Flash tool on the 4GB version of the P780 and then updated to S223. After that i got this issue.

What flash tool did you used ?
I managed to fix it by flashing - P780_S223_4GB_KK_Light - rooted with TWRP 2.7.1.1 from the russian forum by using SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1352.01.
Now I have to find a wholeNVRAM backup to restore my IMEIs

just came across this error !!
found easiest soln. for this just use format tab on spflashtool v5.1352.01.
select "auto format flash" and then select "format whole flash except bootloader" and hit "start"
after this 'S_FT_READBACK_FAIL (4009)" error goes away and you can get back on using flashtool normally
Thank you

[SOLVED] Help - can't flash ROM with error

Any help will be appreciated, i have the HTC One Max 803s.
The device has no OS in it, only can access TWRP v2.7.0.0.
I've downloaded ROMs such as NuSenseSIX, PACT6, CandyKat T6, in this HTC one max forum .. . tried flashing through TWRP with no luck and an error message as below:
"Error executing updater binary in zip ..."
"Error flashing zip ...."
Is there anything else i've missed? What is the problem?
Thanks.

Gonna take a wild guess your boot loader is locked.
Bootloader could be locked. Also, when you tried to change recovery, where you flashing via recovery or using ADB? You should be using ADB.
Solved. thanks guys for the advices, below is what was done:
- unlocked bootloader
- re-flashed new open recovery from the above suggested link
- flashed rom

Stuck in TWRP after OTA update (E: error executing updater binary in zip)

Hi Everyone,
I know, I fell in a noob trap doing this and I already hate myself for it : I tried to OTA update my rooted Honor 7 and the device remained stuck in TWRP after reboot.
Log showed the following message in red : "E: error executing updater binary in zip"
I proceeded to a wipe and managed to start the system. This allowed me to unroot my phone, thinking I would then be able to update from a clean basis.
Unfortunately, the same error occurred and I am now stuck in TWRP again...
I would be grateful if anyone could provide me some leads to get out of my noob trap...
Thank you very much !
Edit : I finally understood how i managed to start system (I deleted the update.zip file and wiped again). Still, now how can I update to the latest version without getting stuck again in TWRP ? Thank you !

Softbricked Padfone S / Access To Fastboot and Recovery only

Hi I need some help please.
I only have accesss to the fastboot mode and the recovery.
The bootloader is unlocked and I already tried every guide I could find on the net how to flash a new stock rom.
I tested many different recoverys but I haven't found one which was able to flash a stock rom to the device.
For example I tried this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/padfone-x/help/guide-restoring-stock-rom-recovery-t3179818
But when I try to flash the 4.4.2 downgrade firmware in the recovery just nothing happens ("zip file signature verification" disabled) or the logs says: "E: Zip signature verification failed: 1; Error flashing zip "x.zip"; Updating partition details..." ("zip file signature verification" enabled)
I hope you guys can help me, thanks
Solution
I found it out myself:
When I tried to flash a rom using cwm it said something like "this is for T00N devices; you have t00n device".
So I tried the modified roms which are able to convert TW to WW from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/padfone-x/general/guide-asus-padfone-s-kk-l-fix-brick-t3197684
and it just worked fine now using cwm 6.0.5.1.
Maybe I could help someone else with this at least

Question Unable to mount error in TWRP

Hello Everyone, I made a big mistake of installing custom rom and now I can't go back to stock. I got the MIUI Rom from the official c.mi.com site and when I try to flash it I get the following errors. I use Redmi note 10(sunny)
Failed to mount /storage_root
Failed to mount /storage_ext
Failed to mount /vendor
I tried fixing it by changing file system to ext4 but to no avail, the same error popped up again. I used the TWRP which was permenantly installed and even with a temporarily installed. Idk whether that actually makes a difference. Is there any easy fix to this or is it irrepairable, i would be grateful if you could reply as soon as possible.
Thank You
Edit: Is it possible to use Mi Flash Tool in this situation to revert it back or is that unsafe
For me the solution was to directly boot into twrp through cmd
Fastboot boot twrp.img

Try mi flash but flash all not flash all Lock. It's better to flash with unlock bootloader. Yes you can fix as long your bootloader unlock. Reflash stock MIUI to performing arrange broken partition
