I am getting woken up by the watch. I have auto DND set to the correct times & DND selected on my phone. I also have Disable when DND is ON selected on Amazfit.
Any idea please ?
Amazfit doesn't have this option... It only has "disable when screen is on", and only on Android. If you meant AmazMod, some phones activate the screen to display notifications and this may break this setting, you have to find a configuration setting that works for you. And make sure you have notifications disabled in Amazfit if you are using AmazMod.

The problem seems to be in the watch. If I manually select DND on the watch, I don't get disturbed. But the auto DND setting doesn't set the DND.
did not want to create new thread, so i ask here.
is there a way to set up auto dnd when i sleep? i have had amazfit bip before and there was auto dnd working like a charm. now i have bought stratos +, but found only how to set up scheduled dnd.is there a way to set auto dnd when i sleep? thank you

Only schedule it for a fixed schedule, as you already found out. You can also simply put it in airplane mode or dnd from the drop down menu before you sleep, then disable it when you wake up.
What a shame on amazfit... bip is 3 times cheaper and has smart dnd, stratos does not...

Hi everyone,
I opened a discussion to understand how Sony Smartband works inside the core.
I don't know if anyone knows exactly, but one functionality that makes me think is the Sleep tracking with Smartband/Lifelog.
I realized that the smartband is capable of capture when we sleep and measure the deep sleep time daily, but anyone know how can it capture this information?
1- I see that the smartband only sees after midnight and so on, some times I sleep at 10pm, but it always marks as 00:00am, is there any way to monitor it more accurate?
2- Another curious feature is, how Smartband knows that I am not in a deep sleep and wake me up during the period I set to wake me up?
Anyone tried to create an app to access these functionalities outside the Lifelog? I would really appreciate that my smartband vibrates in my wrist every time I receive SMS, Whatsapp message and others... and will be best if we can change the vibration for every notification like:
Whatsapp = 1 short vibration
SMS = 1 long vibration
Incoming call = Constant vibrations until I accept or reject the call
Thank you!

Don't you have Smart Connect app installed? You can have your Smartband vibrate for notifications with that app

Hi,
Yes, I have the app, but in my settings just show to vibrate when someone calls me...
Can you show me the path to vibrate when SMS or Whatsapp message arrives?
Thank you

It's the second highest option for me, it reads "notifications". Enable that
Edit: Could you please show a screenshot of your Smartband app?

Now I'm curious in how to improve the sleep measure.
Today I woke up at 06:20 but went to sleep again 5 minutes later, it won't mark the 1 more hour that I slept.
I'm not so happy with this measurement
Maybe you have auto night mode on so it switches to day mode and does not recognize sleep any more? Mine works even when I'm awake whole night in night mode it shows that I have been awake.

Hi,
My night mode is set to 11pm to 9am...
So it's strange that smartband captures just my sleep from midnight, and if I sleep until two hours or more after night mode (11am) it register ok.
The problems are :
I cannot wake up and sleep again
It don't mark my sleep before midnight
Example : if I fall asleep during the evening, it's supposed to capture this sleep time too?
Thank you
From my experience the smartband will only log your sleep time while on sleep mode, which you set to every night at the interval of your choosing. In your case from 11 pm to 9 am.
However you can always shift the smartband from day mode to night mode manually by long pressing the smartband button, it will vibrate and activate night mode at any moment during the day. After changing to night mode it will log your sleep cycle no matter the time of the day, as long as you keep it on night mode. And it's not magic either, I've stayed up late watching TV very still and the smart band thought I was "light sleeping" just because it activated night mode (due to time) and I was not moving much!
And for instance the time you woke up at 6, and the smart band switched to day mode you can just long press the button and it will shift the smart band to night mode again, and register the extra hours you sleep.
Hi Adolfo,
Thank you for your tips.
I was testing the sleep feature and I figured out the same of you.
Sometimes I went to bed and spend hours watching TV, and if I stop to turn over, it marks as light sleep.
Thank you again, from now on I can measure better my sleep and some other features.

If I've understood correctly there's no need to hibernate anything in order to user aggressive doze. So I don't use hibernation at all, but instead would like to user aggressive doze.
I'm rooted and have checked the on-the-go mode. I have also enabled the notification.
But there's no doze notification after the screen has been off for few minutes. How do I know if it is dozing or not?
thanks

I use Automagic (same idea as Tasker, but I find it much easier to understand and use). It has a trigger for when the phone enters doze mode (and another for when it exits). I can use these triggers to perform conditional actions like enable/disable Bluetooth/WiFi etc., or, say, make a sound, send a message to my Pebble watch, etc. In my case (unrooted phone) I have it make sounds. Using Automagic to do this kind of stuff does not seem to mess up the phone going into/coming out of doze mode.
You can also enable a Greenify notification that shows when the phone goes in/out of aggressive doze...

Thanks. It seems that it works now. I just needed to wait for a longer time.
Just remember that doze is not a full replacement for hybernation. It may prevent wakelocks but bad apps can still run background processes loading CPU and consuming battery when phone periodically wakes up from doze as well as every time you are using your phone.

Hi,
I have a Amazfit watch Paceficator with WOS2, the GPS is always On ?
If yes, how to disable it (becauce save my battery) ?
(I do not use my watch to play sports)
Thanks
It's always ON, but only activated when recording an outdoor activity, so no need to worry about this. To save battery:
- make sure Autoupload and WiFi are off (probably they are off if you have never connected to WiFi)
- Use Auto-brightness or set it to zero when outside
- Turn off "raise to wake" and delete all alarms
- Make sure Continuous HR in HR widget and PPG capture in Huami Lab (Settings) are off (they are off by default)
- If you don't need notifications and/or you are away from phone, turn on Airplane mode.

Ok Thanks ?
Hello.
I have the Amazfit Pace A1612 with standard ROM 2.8.0.5 that got installed OTA.
I've noticed a problem with my watch, even after factory resetting that activate on raise setting keeps turning itself on think randomly. I don't like this feature and I keep turning it off but after a while it just resets itself to on. Any ideas how can I fix this? Thanks in advance!
Is Auto Backlight Off? It's sets Auto Raise to be turned on or off automatically.
That seems to work so far... Seems illogical since maybe I want the screen to set brightness depending on the current light situation but not raise feature...
I have the same problem on Amazfit Stratos 2.
If auto backlight is enabled, 'activate on raise' turns on by itself.
Very stupid and annoying "feature".

'Backlight' is set independently of this option. The 'Auto backlight' is perhaps clumsily named. It just a scheduler for 'Auto raise to light up' option, not the 'Backlight'. Backlight can not be scheduled but it's easily accessible in quick options swipe down..

Huh?
Did you mean the screen where you can also set silense, airplane mode and go to settings?
Hi guys,
When I'm in bed I use the DND (do not disturb) function from my phone and my Stratos.
But Watch Droid still pushes notifications through with vibration.
The only way to stop that is to manually toggle the "vibration when silent" option in Watch Droid settings on the phone. But then it stays silent (even when DND is over) untill I toggle it again.
My phone is always on vibration function (sound always muted) because of my job...
Can someone help me?
Use airplane mode on the watch along with dnd

Can't do that. I need to be reachable for my "favorites": Alarm service, my mother (sick husband) etc etc.
With DND the favorites will go through on the phone.
WD does not "respect" watch's status - try using Amazmod for that configuration
I never realised that WD doesn't have a dnd hours option, because I've always used airplane at night instead of dnd, to save some battery life. It's so strange they've missed such a basic feature.
Only issue with amazmod is it doesn't allow responding to older notifications. Once that functionality comes in, it'll be fantastic

So Amazmod is the better solution here?
Just bought WD
Have to test Amazmod further I guess...

Depends if you need the ability to reply to notifications after they've gone off the screen.
