Does anyone have a magisk module that could replace the white bootanimation with a dark one?
Found several threads for the dark bootanimation but couldn't seem to find one with a working magisk module and the correct resolution.
Thanks in advance!

I thought it'd be handy if I could do it systemlessly and also be able to toggle it whenever I want to switch back to light theme for a while.
Thanks for the link tho, really appreciate it

No worries. If I want to switch back to the eye popping white one, which I never do, I just change the file extension of the bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip.bak
That'll disable it. Like in the pic. The one with the white animation has the .bak at the end :good:

You need to add the .bak to the standard bootanimation.zip. Then rename the dark one to bootanimation.zip
Then reboot :good:

Edit: Solved thanks to RafayelG.
I really like GingerZED theme (I can't find it anymore :S). It had it's v1.0 version released, but it doesn't have %1 support. So I thought I would make it myself (starting from v0.9 GingerZED with %1Mod).
So I just extracted the png files which are from the mod, and replaced the ones inside the v1.0 with these. Pulled the theme in, and rebooted. Everything good so far.
But after I rebooted, I realized that the progress bar (the one for example which is shown when uninstalling an app) "had gone crazy". I mean, it's like it blinks and goes from green to grey, over and over again until it finalizes. And I'm really confused because all I did was just change the .png files :S
I don't know if I made myself clear (if I didn't, just say :S)
Any ideas how to solve this?
Thanks in advance.
My only guess would be that you didn't modify the "sys_stat_battery.xml" file after you decompile framework-res.apk.
That usually happens when you don't.
Correct me if I'm wrong?

Yes. Boths versions (v0.9 and v1.0) have 1%Mod support. All I wanted to do was to change the battery pngs (and that was all I did :S).
I checked anyway, and the file Lestat mentioned is moded to support 1%
Thanks both of you.

Alright so since it is added in there already, are you using a kernel that supports the 1% battery mod? That would be my only other guess.

I'm using G3Mod v1.7... so yes, it has 1%Mod support. But I think you misunderstood (or I just didn't made myself clear xP).
The problem isn't the battery mod (in fact, it works ok :S). The problem here is that the full screen progress bar (for example, which is shown when installing an app) blinks between grey and green (it goes 1 second green, 1 second grey and all the way until the install finishes).
Better now, or is it still confusing?
(Sorry, but as I'm not a native english speaker, I tend mess things when trying to make myself clear :S)

Hello guyz...
Let me present you Touchwiz UX Jelly Bean Launcher with Black app drawer background and wallpaper scrolling ON...
ONLY FOR JB
I am not a developer...I just changed some values in the seclauncher2.apk and got this. This was developed for those who
1. want scrolling wallpaper
2. and for those who gets annoyed by the transparent app drawer background when white or any faint wallpaper is set as homescreen...
It really gets hard to see the icons and the icon labels when such a whitish wallpaper is set..This is the reason I wanted it...So thought of sharing with u guys
I am posting 3 apks...Wallpaper scrolling is kept ON in all of three apks...If want to disable it let me know...
1. full black background...
2. 75 % black background...
3. 50 % black background...
HOW TO:
Pretty simple...
1. Rename /system/app/SecLauncher2.apk to Seclauncher2.apk.bkp (for backup)
2. Copy the downloaded SecLauncher2.apk in the /system/app
3. Change permission: rw-r--r--
4. Reboot. Thats it :good:
Bugs: You tell me.
Cant say whether it will work on i9070p or not as i havent tested on it yet...but it should work as the changes are not related to OS.
Credits: dr30ma for his tutorial :good: thanks man
Downloads:
1. Full black - 2.68 MB
2. 75% black
3. 50% black

If you've applied the widget, then you should see MotLauncher2 and launcher2 in the priv app folder. To undo it, add .bak to MotLauncher2 and set the permissions on Launcher2 to Rw-r-r

ok got it sounds simple enough , and if I want to go back to the Rings just undo these 2 changes or do I have to reinstalled the zip package?
It's really easy to get setup for Substratum ?
1. Unlock Bootloader
2. Reboot watch and setup device
3. fastboot boot twrp
4. Flash Magisk
5. Reboot, open Magisk Manager and change setting to auto authorize apps for root. - should turn this off when not using root
6. Sideload the latest Substratum app - it's difficult but you can get to most options. - if people get interested they may help us out with that ?
All the tools are here on XDA ?
I used the TWRP image from here - https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenwatch-2/orig-development/wip-unofficial-twrp-v2-8-7-0-t3321199
Here's a few screenshots ? Being an AMOLED screen this should help with battery use ?
A few more
If anyone would like to test it out on their ZenWatch 2 just let me know.
Not sure how or if this works on other devices but should as long as they are rooted
