My Poco used to take two pictures in portrait mode on Gcam(sharp and blurred). Now it only captures the normal image and not the blurred one as it used to.What may be the problem? This is the second time I am posting this, please help.
GCam is checking faces, that means if you try to portrait a tree for example it does not work.
Or do you have the same issue while taking face portraits?

Alright everybody,
I have had the mozart now for a few weeks and everything is outstanding on it, it's pretty far removed from WM6.5.
The only problem i'm having is the camera just seems to shoot a little blurry, I know some of the pics are me not quite keeping still, I was just wondering what settings it should be on for a good picture.
Thanks
Graham
Hi,
I've not changed any of settings and am getting pretty good results (when I remember to wait for the 2nd flash that is!).
Will have a play about with the settings over the weekend and post if I find anything interesting.
I'm currently thinking about getting a 7 Mozart myself and was wondering how the camera performs.
Could you please take some pictures and post them here?
Thank you very much in advance.

I'd say that's a superb quality for a mobile camera
Could you please post some pictures (preferably in bad lighting condition too) of the camera, too?
Thank you for your work

How does the Mozart camera compare to the Omnia 7? I am considering either this for the camera or the Omnia for the S-Amoled.
I'm experience the blurred image as well and I did not change the setting either.
Just wonder how to take close ups with this camera e.g. when i take photos of a book the words are not readable, blurred???
EDIT: Wrong thread !
Anyway, I'm having the same issue with "blurry" pictures. Even my N900's 5Mpix camera is performing better... *Sigh*

This might sound a bit odd, but u know the button on the side to press to actually take the pic? .. Hold it in for about 5/6 secs and it seems to zoom in and crisp the focus ... then click to take a pic.

Have you tried Macro mode? Works well for me.
I've not had any problems with blurry pictures.....unless I move after focus has locked. Unfortunately there's no Microsoft update coming for me being bad at keeping still!
Ok, we need to press the camera button for a while until it adjusts the focus, then close ups can be taken and once focus is locked then there is no blurr and images are just excellent. thank dov74.
any thing i'm missing in settings about macro mode? not sure where it is.

No Problem.
Macro mode is under camera/settings/scenes then it's the last option. I've not taken any proper photos with it but I've messed about with it and have gotten good results.
From memory, another member on here uploaded a picture taken in Macro mode - will have a look and see if I can find.

do you notice a difference in Huawei's portrait and aperture modes? I don't see too much of a difference. Portrait is for people and aperture is for objects?

this one doesn't really work only lens blur mode does.
It's worth noting that the built in camera app is the only one that can take full advantage of the phone's capabilities at this time that I'm aware of. I've tried several other camera apps with the phone and none of them offer AI support or the same range of features that the phone's factory camera app does.
This may be due to the V20 being the first to use the particular 48 megapixel camera that's on the phone.

Thanks for sharing. There are two issues.
1. Image is captured but not saved. It was saved initially, but fails to save after a while.
2. In portrait mode the image is in pinkish tint.
Will be grateful if some fix is suggested

Here's that new gcam version

have fun trying it out.
The portrait mode in selfies doesn't seem to be working properly. I like the new look of the setting
(pull down from anywhere). That 16:9 format doesn't make sense though - at least not for P3 users...
Thanks...i will try it out....

It is already in (Google Cam 7.)
It is automatically inside night vision you just have to set the focus to Infinity and than make a Foto. Tada! There is no special button or option for astrophotography.

Just found out that Astrophotography is already on that release. If you are in Night Sight and put your phone somewhere steady (for example on a tripod), it will automatically kick in.
cheers
Can someone confirm a better low light image picture quality as seen with Pixel 4? With new GCAM of Pixel 4 images in low light seem to be sharper and light sources are less blown out. Thanks!

There's only a significant difference, if you put it on a steady holder (and use astrophotography)
