Hey, has anyone tired app called Network Signal Guru which helps to lock band as I am in India and needs this app to lock band due to poor Network coverage.

MIUI with stock kernel supports it, on custom roms you need shadow kernel

Use arter97 r9 kernel for Custom pie roms

im using cm9 o my neo
everything is just awesome
but there is one big bug which is really annoying
wifi keeps disconnecting
before this rom i've been using GB based roms there were no such wifi issues there
so i hardly think so there is any hardware failure
for the record i've been dealing with this problem over any ics based roms
some people told me maybe you are using the wrong baseband but im using recomended basebands and kernels
anybody had this problem before ?
any solution ?

if u are using the kernel inside zip, try the alliance kernel..

since it was working for you before, it shouldnt be a hardware issue.
Wifi is associated with the kernel,thats why I asked you to try another.

im almost 24/7 online in yahoo using im+ pro app
in GB roms there were no issues every thing was so smooth and fine
but in this rom wi-fi keeps changing its indicator in notification bar and also gets disconnected almost once in a minute and it realllllllllly annoying cuz my yahoo id gets disconnected obviously
i also tried to get close to the router to see if it works but i didnt...

ohh..strange..why dont you check this out on another ICS rom,maybe? because cm9(even the stable version) still has bugs.. or try the fxp version..fxp133 and check with that kernel.

but i got the same issue there too

have you changed anything there? if not,then that shouldnt be the problem.
p.s. try one patch first.. then check..if not working try the other..
AND MAKE A BACKUP FIRST

after first fix wi-fi wouldnt turn on
but with second fix it did turned on but the problem remained

this is not a problem dude
it's a feature
which disables carrier data temporarily when wifi is switched on
to save carrier data usage and your money

Lineage OS has been a great custom ROM for users who wanna move away from MIUI. You mean casting from miracast? That feature disabled since lollipop by google. They want you to use chromecast, although there's workaround for enable this feature again with build.prop edit but I forgot

Tried it but did not work
Cast screen does not work on resurection remix also.adding line to biuld.prop does not help. Cast screen wotks perfectly on miui.

The same problem for me. I have Xiaomi Redmi 3. With MIUI i've had perfect screen cast, but with Lineage OS 7.1 it's written "No devices found".

First of all LOL! I'm on it. Maybe you took me wrong. Alright, my *smart* friend so you're looking for stable build on first release. So PE is good for now facing hard screen lock issue. And some minor bugs. But its fine at least for now.

It comes on clean flash and when you dont restorr data backup from twrp Ill release v1.1 fixing it most likely today thanks for telling me alone person cant test everything
