[Q] Galaxy S3 appears to be rooted even though it's not?

I have a problem with my GS3. It's brand new, and I've never rooted or flashed a custom rom or anything.
The status of my device switches from normal to modified frequently (Whenever it says Modified a reboot changes it back to normal, I can't define when it changes to modified). If I go into Odin Mode, the following is what I see:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: GT-19300
CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD: No
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
If I reboot and go back into Odin Mode, System Status changes to Official.
I installed a few root apps to check if I could use them. None of them give me root access.
The root checker apps tell me I don't have proper root access. However...
BusyBox Installer tells me 'your device is rooted', but I can't install it.
Root Browser gives me full access to everything.
So...
Is my device rooted?
I've wondered whether the phone I was given was secondhand and that the previous owner maybe rooted it and sent it back or something?
I'm confused...
You can see the pictures and more info on this G+ post: goo . gl / V7f68w
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Hey

N as of root.. do you have supersu or any other app (not Samsung pre-installed) even when you format your device??
Sent from my Amazing Galaxy S III...!
Root Browser gives me full access to everything
Means its rooted .
Check what recovery you have stock is 3e

Unrooting s4 9505

So today i rooted my S4 -i9505 with a single reason to uninstall that KNOX aplication that i got after i updated to android 4.3 and i did rooted it well half successfully maybe because the tutorial was for android 4.2.2 anyway now i want to unroot it without loosing the data on it, is there such a way, can i use superoneclick to do it simply by pressing unroot ?

[Q] Rooting a GS3 SGH-I747M. (First root)

Hi
I want to root my GS3 SGH-I747M.
I followed this tutorial :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...ight=supersu+has+stopped+working#post54140468[1]
At the end, Odin says "PASS", but my problem is when I try to open SuperSU or when I unlock my phone it only says "SuperSU stoped working" I also tried to remove and install it again from the google play store. If I use RootChecker it says my phone isn't root.
I found on the thread of the tutorial a solution, but it is only for the SGH-I747 and not the M version
I want to add that Knox is not installed on my phone and I have Android version 4.4.2
EDIT : I tried TowelRoot but it didn't work
Thanks for your time.

How To Completely Unroot Android

I want to copletely unroot my tablet (samsung galaxy tab 4), as some years ago i rooted it with some program which i cant remember (but i surely unistalled it) but unlesh having flashed to the stock ROM and installed Magisk ive been unable to pass SafetyNet neither now and before flashing. (ctsProfile and internalintegrity) I´ve read that it could be caused due to some root files that remain in my tablet, so how could i completely delete all and install everything from begining?

Root still detected after flashing stock rom again

Hi All,
I flashed the Ultimate Oreo S9 Rom off here a couple of weeks back but found it too buggy for my liking, I then reflashed my s6 edge to stock Nougat and everything works fine (besides the custom system warning but thats not anything major) but when I installed netflix again I got error 5.7 which is usually caused by rooted devices so I loaded up SuperSU and Root checker, SuperSU says I have no root but Root checker says my root has been installed incorrectly? Its evident that the root is lying around my system so what should I do to fix it? (I can't even access the root file manager as root isn't installed!)
Thanks

Just a quick question... After flashing stock did you do a full wipe?
