Huawei Pen, M-Pen Lite or M-Pen Pro - Huawei MediaPad M5 Questions & Answers

So I have Huawei M5 , not Pro and not Lite (model CMR-W09). So, my question is, will M-Pen lite work on it or should I buy M-Pen pro? I really don't know why there is no info on whole internet for Huawei pen for CMR-W09 model.
Thank you all in advance
And if you don't know, can you recommend any pen for my tablet?

M5 doesn't support m-pen
only the M5 Pro and M5 lite support the m-pen
4096 pressure level for the M5Pro and 2048 for the lite

Thanks, I have to say that is amazingly stupid what they did. They have two styluses for three tablets and one tablet doesn't support any of styluses? My gosh, someone needs to talk to their adviser....

I have the same problem. Bought CMR-AL09 and stylus with smal AAA battery. Are you 100% sure that is hardware or software?

Hello, I'm also interested. So is it possible to use a stylus with the CMR-W09 model or not? If it's not compatible with any of the M-Pens, then which other one works? Thanks

M-pen compatible with M5 8.4?

Does anyone know if
Huawei is planning on selling the M-pen separately?
Also is the M-pen compatible with the M5 8.4 inch?
I had trouble finding answers to these questions on Dr. Google
In Germany it's available for ~70€
Description says it's only for M5 10 Pro?!

I just purchased the 8.4 Chinese LTE version. I'm willing to bet since the two models have the same operating system they also have the same accessory support. I can't imagine Huawei creating two separate versions of the OS to eliminate pen support.
When I receive my pen I will report.
No it's not compatible. It doesn't even work on the 10.8 non pro because they are missing the second digitizer which only the pro has.
This is one of the reasons for the pros price difference

Compatibility with old Huawei Supercharge

Simple but interesting question, does the mate 20 pro work with the 22.5W "old" Huawei supercharge or it works only with the 40W supercharge? As I'm planning to upgrade from mate 9 to mate 20 pro
Yes the 1st generation Supercharger will work on the M20 Pro but it will be a little slower compared to the 40W brick.

Freebuds pro 2 Compatibility

Hey Guys
So I have a Huawei Mate 20 Pro, purchased in the UK.
I am very interested in the Freebuds 2 Pro however as I'm sure your aware they aren't available global yet, only a Chinese version released.
I don't mind ordering the Chinese versions but I just wanted to check if there are any known compatibility issues with a non-Chinese Mate 20 Pro.
I've read about compatiblity issues with phones that do not have Bluetooth 5.0 (Mate 20 Pro does so that's ok), read about issues with the software version having to be above 171 for the HWA to work (my mate 20 pro is over this version).
Is there anything else I need to consider before I make the purchase? Is there going to be an issue with languge in some way? I know there's no display but possibly voice commands or recognition issues for the English language?
Any help would be great, I'm guessing I'm not the only one wondering on a global release date.

Hey
I do have the freebuds 2 pro and a LYA-L29 with 187 firmware.
They fit perfectly with one another.
No issues and better than with my P20 pro.
I really can recommend them.
I think the only disadvantage is the short battery life from about one hour.
But they are very quick rechargeable with its box.

Thanks Orlando, my mate 20 Pro is LYA-L09, not sure what the difference is between the LYA-L29? is it only dual sim difference? I'm running with 187 firmware too, so this is good to hear.
I assume you are located outside of China right?

Yes, it is the dual functionality only.
And also yes. Not in China ?
That is the reason why it is really difficult for me to use the companion app to update the firmware on the buds ?, but thank God there is Google Lens ?

I can't seem to get mine to pair with my P30 Pro. I press the button, white led flashes, nothing appears in the bluetooth list of devices. Any ideas?
Edit: 10 mins later they just appeared with no issue. All seems fine now!
I recently bought some Freebuds 2 Pro, So far i'm impressed with them. They work great with my UK Mate 20 Pro, and i'm on 9.0.0.210.
Audio quality is excellent, but not noticed a difference with HWA turned on.
How is call quality with freebuds 2 pro especially in noisy environments? And what is bone id anyway!

Probably on there newer devices with glass screens, Seeing how the Mate X, and XS are plastic it would definitely scratch up the screen.
