Hi, i would like to ask if anyone that has the verge watch, is there an option or the ability to control Spotify from the watch, like change track etc. ?
As i'm interested to get it but i can't find anywhere if the watch has this option !
Thanks !
enable music control in the amazfit app, and the watch will control the last music app used on your phone.

Is there a way to control music player on the phone while any sport activity is active?
You cannot acees to the notificiations with music controls when sport is active, you can use Watchdroid with "running when unlocked" option checked, but Watchdroid usually stops sport activity. In sport activity you can acces to the rightmost screen where is internal player but for this kind of listening you need BT headset.. Any idea? I am using Pace mostly for tracking my runs..

I'm having the same problem. Did you figure out a way to control music player? An older version of OS, it was possible to control musics while in activity, after the new updates, this control is gone.
Latest International firmware for Stratos (I think Chinese too, but no one uses it outside China as it doesn't support other languages), which is 2.3.8.0 as of now, as well as latest Chinese firmware for Pace (2.6.5.0 as of now) brought back music control as the far right screen when recording activities. It should come back to Pace INTL version soon. In the mean time, you can either use headphones that support A2DP protocol or use a floating music player (not the best solution, just a workaround).
has anyone figured this out yet? my old watch was a gear 2 neo running android wear and the screen could be set to default to the music controls when the phone was bluetoothing music to anything. This seems like such a no brainer functionality to have, its absurd that tizen (samsung) hasnt figured it out yet that when people are listening to music, that theyd want the option to have the screen default to this
This feature was added in the latest Pace update!
Hi all
I have been seeing updates for cor band but the feature that i always wanted and simple one is music control by band. In today's release they have even released an update with alipay integration, which only china users can use. Does anyone here know how to control music with cor band.
PS: i saw the workaround way from these notify and tools apps provide. What I want is specific buttons to click for pause and next song
Hello everyone,
I'm going to buy Verge but I have some doubts. I hope you will help me:
1. I know that in lite version You can't control music during active training. But what about "not lite" Verge version? Am I able swtich between training and music control? Or at first turn on music (mp3 on watch itself) and then start training?
2. Am I able to control Spotify app on smartphone?
Best regards,
Lukasz
1. Only if you use AV2P Bluetooth headphones, as latest Chinese firmware for Verge, there is no music control during activities like the one available for Pace/Stratos;
2. Yes, if you enable Music control in Amazfit Watch app and you keep the phone with you and connected to the watch, of course. But, again, you cannot control music this way during sports activities.
Verge isn't the best option for sports:
1. Battery life is shorter if compared to Pace/Stratos mainly due to AMOLED display, what also makes it harder to read outdoors during the day unless you use maximum brightness;
2. It is all plastic and IP68 (although I doubt it due to the openings for both mic and speaker);
3. Custom straps are hard to find because it does not use an standard format, although they have the quick-release mechanism.
Thx for reply.
Yes but I can play music before trening start, and this is OK for me (I got Verge since friday). I made 2 trainings and for now only drawback is brightness, it could be better. But I run at evening mostly.
I found some offers for straps on Ali, and I am wating for delivery.
Generaly I am realy happy. Verge is not perfect but if You consider price/value ratio it is best choise im my opinion.
What the heck, Huami? And I thought I was doing something wrong or overlooking something. Why would you not make music controllable on the Verge during an activity when it is possible on Stratos / Pace?? That's frustrating.
I got weird interrupts when playing music over BT while running with GPS on and using Polar BT HR band. Every 20 to 60 seconds the music has little pauses. This happens with MPow DS6 headphones. Has anyone else this?
Hi
I have just bought an amazfit gtr and it seems great. There is one though that I hope can be fixed.
I like the music control a lot when I listen to Spotify, but it is annoying having to go in and find the music player again in the watch every time I want to change songs. It would have been nice if it was there when I tap the screen or something.
Just found the quick access
Does anybody know?
Kind regards
Peter
Go to settings > quick start up > select music.
Now you can directly go to music by pressing the secondary button on your watch.
Hello,
Is this possible to control/open smartphone features like maps, call, music etc from voice assistant on Amazfit watches? For instance, i want google maps on my android phone to navigate me to home by using alexa voice on watch. E.g: i say "alexa take me home" and it will open google maps on phone and navigate to home. Or i say "alexa play music on my phone" or "alexa call mike" it will call mike on phone etc. Assuming that watch doesnt have standalone navigation and play music features. Controlling these features on phone using alexa voice on smartwatch would be amazing really (i think wear os watches can do it, not sure though?). I believe this can be achieved via watch's companion app on phone if implemented? Many thanks all
