The only solution I have in the moment to change the battery icon and also the others is xposed. For the battery "Gravity box" and for the icons I use "Xstana".
And yes, xposed kills safetynet, there is only one, xposed or safetynet, the both together is not possible.

OK, I have Gravity Box and Xstana. Changed battery and WiFi icons.
But can't get rid of the stupid U.S. carriers "4G" and "4G LTE" icons. Any suggestions?

I want "H" and "LTE". Even though I have that chosen in Gravity Box, it's not honoring my wishes. It does change the battery, however.
And Xstana successfully changed the Wi-Fi icon:
Some by mentioned I could change model number in Build Prop and it would change my LTE icons? Canada H933 apparently has the correct icons I want.

If you get the various carrier build.prop lines I'll test them. I'm on Verizon rom so I'm curious if it works.

I don't feel like testing this but it apparently also can add 3minit support? If you look at the last screenshot in the play store.

Hey,
Yeah, the two fields that can be edited are the following:
ro.build.target_country:
ro.build.target_operator:
There are several options you can play with here. From my experience if you leave the 'country' as US there will always be that ridiculous 4GLTE icon. Change country from US to CA (canada).
Now as for the operator code, I have played with several options for the local telecoms here in canada. My current setup has ro.build.target_operator:TLS as in telus and this has a fixed LTE icon whenever you are on LTE and a 4G icon whenever phone is on either on 3G or HSPA+. Now, if you change TLS to either BMC or VMC for Bell /Virgin respectively you still get the LTE icon for LTE but the 4G icon for lower than LTE becomes H or H+.
Now, I will say however that -- at least for me -- this has some strange effects on the default LG dialer specifically for codes -- for example I could not enter things like *#06# or *#*#4636#*#* it just does not respond. However if i use a different dialer like 'google phone' they do work.
cheers,
gs

Read the post linked above.
OK, changed the build prop from US to CA, and NAO (North America Open) to BMC (Bell). The rebooted.
I now have the "H" for HSPA (I'm on A&T microcell.) Probably will have "LTE" when I leave the house.
Got a funny message about T-Mobile Wi-Fi calling... I'm not a T-Mobile customer, but BMC in Canada must have roaming agreement with T-Mobile? I probably won't actually have Wi-Fi calling with T-Mobile. I'm an AT&T customer, with AT&T sim card. Just a funny byproduct of changing the build prop.
The battery circle percentageis courtesy Gravity Box, while the gradient WiFi icon is courtesy Xstana (AOSP K). Xstana also has battery circle percentage icon (Percicle) -- but not with the gradient Wi-Fi icon at the same time (different icon set). So, I have to mix and match with Gravity Box and Xstana -- and use Build Prop tweaks.

Hello all,
I would like to thank jose51197 for helping me update my phone a week ago (you rule man!)
Now I have another problem that some of you might have an answer to. I am trying to get HSDPA (H bar on the bar signal) to work on my phone. I am currently working on edge right now. My carrier is AT&T.
My brother has an Sony Ericsson Xperia mini pro (unbranded and unlocked) and has AT&T service and he was able to get HSDPA on his phone. I have no idea how he got it nor does he know himself.
What app or APN settings do I need to configure in order to get HSDPA (4G)?> I've heard about the thunderbolt app but does that work with this phone? I also tried to copy my brothers APN settings but no luck. Some help would be greatly appreciated!!
My preferred network is set to GSM/ UMTS mode > GSM only
Now I know that gsm is only capable of using edge only but what changes do I need to make?
I cna only select these from my preferred network settings:
Global
LTE / CDMA
GSM / UTMS
I can only get a signal when I choose GSM only

thanks for replying andybones. I added a few more information into my first post, Im not sure if you read it.
I've never heard of Super CID. Is it something to do with adjusting radio frequency?
It's just amazing and it bothers me how my brother was able to get HSDPA on his phone and he did not do any configurations or installations to his phone.
There must be an explanation for this and an easy solution. Please help!

I tried that and I only messed around just trying to change the network preference. I dont know all about turning radio off and on, turn on sms over ims, lte ramp dump, etc.
Any ideas on what i need to change in the settings? or is it suppose to work right off the bat when I change the network preference settings?
EDIT: I tried switiching to GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto and then for a few seconds a G letter was on top og my singal bars but then went back to an x
I've tried switching to every network and the only one that works and styas is if I select GSM only with Edge newtwork though :/
Any suggestions?
EDIT: I tried messing around with the bands... still no luck. Im probably not making the right combinations or something...

Is there an actual device tree for Beanstalk for your phone? If you are pulling the code for a GSM phone, that could certainly explain it... Might want to look into how CM works for your phone as Beanstalk is based off of it.

It should do. Check some other folders. Also Settings -> Networks -Mobile Networks -> Network Providers. Also you could try changing the network mode to WCDMA only (I believe that this is also achieved by dialing *#*#4636#*#* and looking at that menu.

I used the 'Terminal' app, there is no 'EFS' folder under '/', either.
The menus under 'Mobile Network settings' are:
Data enabled -- checked.
Data roaming -- unchecked.
Preferred network type -- 3G selected(other options are LET and 2G).
Access Point Names -- apn setup.
System select -- Automatic selected(the other option is 'Home only')
I changed to 'WCDMA only' by dialing *#*#4636#*#*, then no signal at all. Couldn't make a call at the same time. So I switched it back.
Try re flashing the modem?

Does the 1xrtt data work? When you go into Settings / More... / Mobile Networks - Do you have 3G data enabled? Is there a section for APNs? Might need to set or activate one.
As far as the IMEI, not sure that is that relevant, as the MEID is the main thing with that phone. That can't be messed up if you are still able to make calls and texts. But you'll find that info in Settings / About Phone / Status (usually).
Also, make sure the network mode is set to CDMA as I know the Inc2 can be unlocked for GSM as well. Possible the modes got switched to GSM/WCDMA.
Hm. A log perhaps? It's helpful to know what the phone is trying to do. I had a similar problem on my SGS4 before. Also as a last resort try a stock room and see if that works. If it does, try recompiling the ROM.

1xrtt data seems not work, either. there is 'enable data connection' button in 'phone info' by dialing *#*#4636#*#*. But without any change when clicking it.
In Settings / About Phone / Status, the 'Mobile network type' is unknown, 'Mobile network state' is disconnected, 'My phone number' is unknown, 'PRL version' is 00000, 'MEID' is unknown.

Introduction:
This is my first xposed module. I couldn't find a current xposed module that allowed me to enable call recording on my T-Mobile Galaxy S5 via the menu while in a call.
So I made one.

This app requires Xposed
Issues:
None that I know of
Details:
This mod has a simple UI to enable/disable call recording. When installed, this will override any CSC settings. You can enable the recording button (replaces add call), and/or recording in menu.
After changing any setting, you will need to reboot for changes to take affect. I can't figure out a reliable hook yet to prevent this need. There's a convenient notification to prompt you to reboot.
Confirmed working so far on:
-SM-G900T
-SM-G900A
-SM-N900T
-SM-N900V

It's pretty specific to Samsung's incallui, so I'd say it's not likely.
Samsung has the recorder built in, just hidden, this mod just exposes the option.

What folder are the recordings stored in? I'm trying this out on an AT&T S5, which has a slightly different InCallUI.apk than the G900T, so it could just be that the module isn't working for me. But I do have a "Record" entry in the call menu, so I'm hopeful, but I can't find any recordings that I've made.

They are saved in sdcard/Sounds on my phone. You should be able to find them in "Voice Recorder" if you can't find them there.. If it's not working, let me know. I'll see if I can make adjustments.

Try this: http://dl-count.xposed.info/modules/com.devortex.TWCallRecorder_v2_26dc02.apk
It's in the xposed repo under "experimental", but I figure a direct link should be easier to get to.

Thanks for the response, but unfortunately, it's not working on this variant. Like I said, it does add the "Record" entry into the call screen settings, but the "Add Call" button doesn't change to "Record" and the recordings don't actually work (not found in either location, at least).
TWCallRecorder gets Superuser privileges when I start a phone call, though, so everything else seems to be working fine. It's just this stupid carrier-specific phone apk screwing things up.
Yeah, sorry to hear that.
Like I've stated, this mod only exposes the hidden features that are built into the phone app. So, it's possible that the call recording is just not native on the ATT variant. It's funny that it can still show the record option in the menu. It's either something weird that's causing the recording not to work, or ATT removed the feature but forgot to remove that one menu piece.
If I get a few minutes, I'll try to look into it further, but I can't guarantee anything.

Hey, somewhere along the way it started working on my G900A!
The "Add call" button still doesn't change to a record button, but the entry in the overflow menu works now. Thanks for the work you put into getting this working on other phones!
I'm actually embarrassed to open this thread but I'm baffled so looking for some help from LG vets. This is my first LG phone. I see all the adverts showing a vertical clock on the lockscreen, hours over minutes. I have a horizontal clock widget on my lockscreen, hours on the left, minus on the right. I want the vertical clock widget, hours on top of minutes. I looked in widgets, not there. I tried to resize the widget on the homescreen, won't resize to that format. I chatted with LG CS who stated that I should make the lockscreen visable, hold and drag the clock to the left and more options would appear. I hold and drag the lockscreen clock and it goes nowhere. I am on a AT&T LG V10. Is there any way to get the vertical clock on the lockscreen and, if yes, how about the homescreen as well?
Now. I know I'm not crazy. I had the hour over minutes clock and went to look in settings to see where to change it and I noticed that now my clock is hour next to minutes.

I'm going to venture to guess that it changes depending on if you have notifications. It is hour over minute when you don't have notifications on the lock screen then when you have them it will change to hour next to minutes. I disabled them altogether as I don't need them on the lock screen and the second and the notification center.

Thanks! I have been using, modding, flashing phones for years and I was at a loss trying to figure it out.
No problem. In fact, I was looking (not very hard)/for how to change that to hour next to minutes and it wasn't until I read your post that I put a little more thought into it.

Must be the international version only. I have the horizontal clock regardless of notifications. That's unfortunate as I like the look of the vertical one.

so do you still have the vertical hour/min clock on your lockscreen? if so can you upload the "LGalarmclock.apk" apk so we can download it? I'm assuming that's the apk responsible for the lockscreen clock if not someone please correct me.

It's very easy and would help a lot here's a small tutorial I found to explain it.
http://www.droidviews.com/push-pull-files-android-using-adb-commands/
The command needed here is just adb pull /system and that's it. If you end up doing this just zip the files it gives you and upload to the cloud or something and post a link here.. I would really really appreciate it.
If you meant to send a link to didn't get attached.

I realize this is dead but I stumbled across it. You don't need a pull of system. It's all there, you just need to change build.prop to a non-US carrier for ro.build.target_operator and ro.build.target_country. For example, TLS and CA, respectively. I did it for the international data icons, but the clock is affected too.
