Hi. I tried to help finding and replacing the bootlogo for this device, but it turned out it's located inside aboot.mbn which is Samsungs OEM bootloader. It won't be possible changing it, or at least I won't because of the risks of messing with bootloader.
I've never done that before, plus I don't own this device myself.
I got it extracted though so I thought I'd leave the logo here any way, in case someone wants it for something.

Hello,
I was playing around with my S2. It had CM installed, and I installed sensewiz, however it wouldn't boot after it. It would get stuck on CM loading screen. So I load it download mode, started odin and "uploaded" .pid file and .zip (CM update) to restart from beginning. So this step worked fine and Odin said to restart the phone. Unfortunately, after this, the phone is not working.
I tried, 2 batteries, I tried without battery for half an hour... nothing. Black screen and nothing happens. If I could only get something, it would be enough to load the original software. When I plug the phone it seems to be charging (the back part is heating). However screen is not working nor it is showing in any form that it is on.
Is my phone dead? - Motherboard or something? - any input is welcome
What model phone do you have? Is it SGH-I777?
What do you mean by .pid file? Do you mean a .pit file? And you don't use a zip file in Odin, you need a .tar file for Odin.
Or are you using mobile odin?
There is not enough information here to hazard a guess, but I'll guess anyway that you used the wrong firmware or the wrong pit file, and damaged the partition table.
If you will provide more detailed information perhaps a we can give a better answer.
Creepy is right, wrong firmware is the cause. SenseWiz rom has never been available for the i777, not even in a ported version. If that's really what you flashed it will never boot for you; use the 'Return/Unbrick to Stock' from creepyncrawly's signature to recover your device, then never flash anything you're not 100% certain is compatible with your device.
Hello!
I'm a newbie and I really need help with my bricked(?) phone. First a short intro to how the problem came to be:
I own an old (but I still love it) and extremely rare phone, the original Samsung Galaxy Beam (I8520).
There is no official update for it, so it is stuck on Android 2.1.
The thing I miss is Netflix, and Netflix officially only supports 2.2+, so I thought I could try to fool Netflix into running anyway by editing puild.prop.
But to be safe, I used an app called Device Spoofer. In this I could try different model infos by selecting different phones in a list.
I tried a couple and found one it would except. Then it required a reboot, I believe, and now my phone won't start up.
I get to the Samsung logo and then a Starhub carrier logo, as usual, and then the phone just turns black.
There is supposed to be a way to get into download mode by holding some buttons, but that doesn't work on my phone. I have read something about it being a bug on some Samsung models. But anyway, I have bought one of those usb sticks that puts the phone into download mode, and it works.
I have tried to use ADB, but it doesn't seem to find my phone. I also tried to flash a firmware to the phone, but that doesn't work either, Odin gets stuck at "SetupConnection..". The only firmware I have found online is one called I8520STHJI1.tar, which is the last firmware version made for the phone and the version that is factory installed on my phone.
The I8520STHJI1.tar contains the following files:
cache.rfs
modem.bin
ramdisk.img
SS_DL.dll
system.rfs
userdata.rfs
zImage.img
Is there anything that can be done?
Thank you!
After googling, it seems that I need a certain version Odin to be able to flash the i8520.
What I need is Multi Downloader v.1.7.3L
Does anybody have that?
So, this is what happened, and I have no idea how to fix this, nor I am going to try something made for other devices unless it's my only choice.
I woke up one day after wanting to revive this phone, and I realise it's bricked, totally. No Charging animation, bootup, not even Fastboot Mode.
If I connect it to Windows just the way I do to activate Fastboot, I get a ton of drives on the main computer folder, which all need formatting. (http://imgur.com/hoxrbaw) Only one can be read, but it has quite some weird files. (http://imgur.com/fAHyaly).
The Device Manager shows me quite a weird driver, called QHSUSB_BULK (http://imgur.com/b9KPIVT).
I did re-flash the Factory ROM using the correct drivers, the correct ROM and Coolpad Download Assistant v1.86.
There is nothing else I know about...

Is there any way I can recover my phone?
Thanks,

The Only thing I managed is to do nothing because I don't have an identical phone. Can someone send me an eMMC file of Vodafone Smart 4 Turbo 890N?

Take out the battery and put it in again. I've got that exact phone model and it happens all the time. It was especially scary as it happened after I first backed up via FlashFire.
Unfortunately, I did this quite a lot of times, for over 20 times, and nothing.
Do you have the same phone and can you provide me a eMMC image from it? so I can re-flash it and make it work again...
Thanks!
I managed to get a red Charging LED for about 5 seconds, then it stopped. I re-plugged it in and nothing.
I took the battery out and re-plugged it in, then I got the same LED, but shorter.
Unfortunately, that is quite all I got.
I can't do much but trying YGDP, but this is all I know for now.
Is there something I am missing?
I believe that I hard bricked by trying to install another OS on it, but the cable got damaged and we got a bit of an error that hard bricked the device.
Can you guys give me any bit of advice on this specific phone?

I do, but I literally have no idea what an eMMC image is. I CAN provide you with everything else. To my understanding, there are actually no ROMs for this phone, which is disappointing.
It means a backup image made from the phone with a certain flash tool. If you make one, I need both the image AND the flash tool you used.
I already sent the phone to service, and I will have it replaced. If you can supply me with ANY info about this phone I had trouble with, then please do.
Thanks,
TheTNTLovers.
Would a *complete* FlashFire backup work? It backs up literally everything.

Hi, we need proper loader for this device. All other files can be extracted from cpb. I have nck, umt and infinity boxes, but they don't support it. If anybody can share a loader to flash in edl mode it will be great.
So I got my X5 today and immediately set about rooting it.
To start I tried to flash TWRP and that put it into a boot loop! Just the initial splash screen.
I managed to get it to boot by flashing via fastboot to what I thought is the correct firmware from the Doogee support site, however the screen is just horizontal bars.
Looking into why it seems clear the lk.bin which contains display drivers must be wrong, but for the life of me I can't find the right one! Every one I flash I get the same result.
The phone came with Marshmellow pre-loaded and build date 20170904, however I can't find this version available to download ANYWHERE! So I'm thinking either I have a new revision of X5 that no one else has properly played with and Doogee have not even put the firmware/revision info up yet, or for some odd reason I got a phone that the seller had flashed themselves with a custom ROM (it came from Amazon and the seller is 'Doogee Official Store' so I don't think this can be the case).
Anyway, any ideas are most welcome. I'm really thinking/hoping I just need the right lk.bin and can flash it alone!
Thanks!
Why don't you contact with doogee to identify which device you have and to direct you to a suitable rom file download?
I have.
Though I’ve since realised the Bootloader is set to locked and USB Debugging is disabled, so even if I get the right load I’m not sure how I will applie it!
I can get to fastboot blind, and to stock recovery blind, but then I can’t see what I’m doing to get to a point I can allow ADB or any other kind of flash.
If I had a screenshot of the stock recovery screen and the steps you can go through from there to allow flashing that might help.
I’ve tried going into the full OS and getting to settings/developer/OEM unlock blind but no joy! Again, screenshots of this process might allow me to press the right bits of the screen (along with a truck load of luck!).
Friend got a clone of a S9+(MT6580) but It had few, major issues, mainly you coudn't download stuff from playstore and so on. So long story short, I got it bricked and I almost lost hope of this phone booting ever again. But I somehow found semi correct firmware, flashed it on it and well, screen has broken graphics. I narrowed this down to a "lk.bin" file which seems to contain "drivers" for LCD. I'm really not an expert in this territory. I tried flashing other lk.bin files from other firmwares and saw a diffrence in the glitchiness of the vertical lines. Some of them didn't even start the screen. So all I'm asking for is, if there's any way to repair this issue without looking for another firmware because believe me, I tried, and this is the only one that the phone likes. I've attached all of the info files of the firmware I could find + the lk.bin file. If you want to help me I can provide anything you need.
I used SP Flash tool v5.1824.
Firmware is MT6580__alps__boway6580_weg_gm_l__boway6580_weg_gm_l__5.1__ALPS.L1.MP6.V2.19_BOWAY6580.WEG.GM.L_P8
