Hi there
In these cases where the OS is corrupted the best thing is to flash a dload package to restore the partitions to it's original state, to do that please follow the procedure by @Merlin_99 in this link of his thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p20-lite/how-to/root-how-to-install-update-t3841557
Chose the correct package according to your model/country which in your case seems to be ANE-LX3 (C605)
Altough since you can't boot, just power off your device after copying the files to sd card and then do POWER ON + Volume Plus + Volume Minus at the same time until you see a circle of loading and EMUI logo.
Image link is not working though.
Cheers and hope for the best,
AS

You have the same problem as me. Your Vernee Mars Pro based on the p20 SOC not the p25 (these are the majority). So the scatter file made for the p25 (MTK6757D) won't fit to the p20 (MTK6757)

That isn't true at all. It is because the version of SP Flash Tools you're using, it's and old one, and it doesn't have the MTK6757D in his database. Use this version instead: drive.google.*com/drive/folders/1NEyjCHwQwoFpbcvZHk9K-o3lwT_vmxg3?usp=sharing (Click on download all, so it will download all the files on a zip file)
Also you can edit the scatter file, just search for the keyword MTK6757D, delete the letter 'D' and add a blank space where the letter 'D' used to be. The result: 'MTK6757 '
Here you have a link of the scatter already modified: drive.google.*com/open?id=1XKPpwXcs8PohYi0cjVFG0QY5FTjO9tnj
I'm really sorry, because I have less than 10 posts, I can't add links, so I had to write them with asterisks between the dot and the 'com' part, just delete them.
Greetings community I have a big problem with my Z5 Compact E5803.
A couple of months ago I unlocked the Bootloader, I rooted it and never had any problem (I did all this in the version of Android 6.0.1) until I decided to update it by Flashtool to the latest existing version of Nougat (I downloaded the firmware E5803_32. 4.A.1.54_Generic LAM, through XperiFirm).
The fact is that by mistake I included these options in the firmware flash:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Now the problem is that I can not flash any kernel to root my phone, since I always get the same message in both Flashtool and Fastboot mode; "FAILED (remote: command not allowed)", I can not unblock or block the bootloader again, my cell phone does not recognize the nano SIM, and the screen freezes when I enter the camera application.
I made several attempts to flash again the firmware I had before flashing Nougat, Marshmallow (32.2.A.0.224_R7C_Latin America Generic_1299-2789.ftf), I tried to block the bootloader by Flashtool and unlock it again, according to the program all right but when reviewing the phone keeps appearing "Rooting status: unknown".
Community, I do not know what else to do, I would be very grateful for a definitive solution, thank you :crying:
PD.: I had posted this before, but I think I did it in the wrong place
I will be attentive to your comments and suggestions community and if the photos are not published in the post I will gladly pass the link :good: where you can see them. Sorry for my bad english
I do not know what you can do now
but I know where you were wrong , you did not have to tick SIMLOCK

Well, flashtool should backup your previous TAs. Find them at C:/user/.flashTool/registeredDevices/serial number/rawta/date.fta
Backup
do not back up with Flashtool but I have a backup made with this tool:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/universal-dirtycow-based-ta-backup-t3514236
I have the file:
TA_E5803_XXXXXXXXXX_xxxxxxxx-xxx.img :victory:
perhaps this helps:
Restoring TA to factory state

I cannot give any further advice, as I am not aware what the "Misc TA" options actually do. good luck
hi every body
i faced a problem after updating device with fastboot rom (tar.gz)
while flashing images on phone , an error stoped proccess : no space left on device
aftrer rebooting device only shows mi logo and nothing else.
no fastboot
no recovery ...
i even can't switch active slot to A (images flashed on B partitions).
any way , the only solution i find is EDL mode.
but can't find suitable firehose pegrammer for
I think proper qfil full firmware or sdm665_ufs_firehose loader will help
Because fastboot ROMs aren't complete (according to partition table from rawprogram0.xml)
any body here?
Which ROM did you flash? How exactly did you flash it? What happens when you try to boot into recovery and fastboot?
i flashed my mi A3 with fastboot rom (from mi cc9e) (now i know what i did)
while writing system image : no space left on device Error
then phone restarted and all is only white mi logo on black background (cc9e splash screen)
no fastboot , no recovery , no any thing else (even charge logo)
now the only way i found is to flah original fastboot rom in EDL mode
but both miflahtool and qfil cann't do this , after long time ... an error stop flashing.
in both software : no response from device ... error
(in qfil : ERROR: function: sahara_rx_data:277 Unable to read packet header.)
i tried most of solutions
i think this is loaders problem, i mean prog_firehose_ddr.elf
may be this file make some limitation or something else
is there any one who can upload full device dump or a file like this prog_ufs_firehose_sdm665_ddr.elf
Here is my advice to any one who whant do this

Try to check Mi A1 forum, there were guys who managed to brick their device in the same way. Maybe you'll find a way how to restore it.
Not sure what brings people into blindly flashing roms for different device.
Problem is time of opening port
When i try miflash or qfil (both utilize qSaharaServer) this error is in output log:
openport: it took [ Everytime different numbers in ms ] second to open port. which is longer than 3.000 this indicates your target is not stable.
Any suggestions?

I've followed these steps to try to root my phone. Then, I continue following this guide but I'm stuck where it says "Paso 2":
I'm trying to access the recovery mode in my PC with the adb reboot recovery command but my smartphone shows the "No command" message and icon on the screen and after I while, it just restart normally.
I just wanted to install Magisk so I did.
C:\adb>adb reboot-bootloader
C:\adb>fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
target reported max download size of 536870912 bytes
sending 'recovery' (21104 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.491s]
writing 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 0.235s]
finished. total time: 0.736s
C:\adb>fastboot reboot
rebooting...
finished. total time: 0.010s
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
and then I was expecting to be able to enter the recovery mode, but I've tried all the possible key combinations and I can
Actually, before the "No command" screen I get a warning message asking me to visit: g.co/ABH saying that "your device software cannot be checked for corruption. Lock the bootloader. PRESS THE KEY POWER TO PAUSE BOOT. Your device will boot up automatically after a while" and it just restarts normally
I also found this file: /system/recovery-from-boot.p I've read this is preventing me from entering in the recovery mode, but as I'm not root, I can't find a way to delete it or rename it...any suggestion, please?

P.S. I'm not older enough in this forum to ask questions in the device specific section...sorry guys

If you can post your device and model, I will move this thread there (if a sub forum exists for that). Otherwise I will move it to Android Q&A as this is not the proper place for this thread. This is a development forum.

First time poster, hi to all and thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
My LG G5 H850 is some what in a bricked state, after a bad kdz update, my fault of course. It seems to have wiped all partitions.
The phone will only boot to fastboot, there is no recovery or download mode. Using the vol – and power, vol + and inserting the cable still sends me to fast boot.
I have the kdz, extracted that, extracted the dz. The bootloader is in an unlocked state.
When trying to flash the laf with fastboot flash laf laf.img the message I get is
Sending 'laf' (33448 KB) OKAY [ 0.819s]
Writing 'laf' FAILED (remote: 'cannot flash this partition in unlocked state')
fastboot: error: Command failed
Locking the bootloader gives a message FAILED (remote: 'device is locked. Cannot flash images')
adb commands don’t work error: no devices/emulators found
LGUP can’t see the device, there is no handset connected, please connect a handset(s).
I’ve looked at every post I can find regarding this be it about the LG or other devices and can’t get anything working.
Is there anything else I could try or some way to flash this partition to get to download mode?
As you can tell I’m a noob on this.

Have you tried following this guide?

Thanks for the reply, I have looked at this but unfortunately, I can’t get the phone into download mode for the pc to detect it.
When I “Hold Vol+ and connect to PC while it was powered off” download mode flashes for a split second then straight back into fastboot.
I’m thinking if I can get the laf to flash I might be able to get into this, I have seen on other posts about “Shorting JTAG Pins” but most of those are for older LG models, can’t find anything about this regarding the G5.

Hmm, that may work, but I have no first hand experience on it unfortunately. JTAG pins usually exist on any model, but they may not be accessible to the user.
