hi every body
i faced a problem after updating device with fastboot rom (tar.gz)
while flashing images on phone , an error stoped proccess : no space left on device
aftrer rebooting device only shows mi logo and nothing else.
no fastboot
no recovery ...
i even can't switch active slot to A (images flashed on B partitions).
any way , the only solution i find is EDL mode.
but can't find suitable firehose pegrammer for
I think proper qfil full firmware or sdm665_ufs_firehose loader will help
Because fastboot ROMs aren't complete (according to partition table from rawprogram0.xml)
any body here?
Which ROM did you flash? How exactly did you flash it? What happens when you try to boot into recovery and fastboot?
i flashed my mi A3 with fastboot rom (from mi cc9e) (now i know what i did)
while writing system image : no space left on device Error
then phone restarted and all is only white mi logo on black background (cc9e splash screen)
no fastboot , no recovery , no any thing else (even charge logo)
now the only way i found is to flah original fastboot rom in EDL mode
but both miflahtool and qfil cann't do this , after long time ... an error stop flashing.
in both software : no response from device ... error
(in qfil : ERROR: function: sahara_rx_data:277 Unable to read packet header.)
i tried most of solutions
i think this is loaders problem, i mean prog_firehose_ddr.elf
may be this file make some limitation or something else
is there any one who can upload full device dump or a file like this prog_ufs_firehose_sdm665_ddr.elf
Here is my advice to any one who whant do this

Try to check Mi A1 forum, there were guys who managed to brick their device in the same way. Maybe you'll find a way how to restore it.
Not sure what brings people into blindly flashing roms for different device.
Problem is time of opening port
When i try miflash or qfil (both utilize qSaharaServer) this error is in output log:
openport: it took [ Everytime different numbers in ms ] second to open port. which is longer than 3.000 this indicates your target is not stable.
Any suggestions?

Hello,
I used Sp Flash Tool to get my ZTE Blade L3 back to Stock (after a self ported rom failed -.-').
Because I was a little sleepy, I didn't unchek all boxes and everything got flashed.
(Preloader, MBR, EBR1, BOOTMG, Recovery, SEC_RO, LOGO, Android (/System))
Afterwars I wanted to restart the phone, but the display stayed black....
As it seems, my L3 only starts the bootloader, but doesn't realy boot ( Device-Manager doesn't detect the phone).
After many tries, I wasn't able to acomplish something.
Tried:
-reflash everything
-only flash bootloader, MBR, EBR1, BOOT, LOGO & SEC_RO
-flash bootloader & format flash
-(wasn't able to get meta-mode http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1943442)
Sometimes the phone loopes the bootloader and changes between Mediatek Preloader & Mediatek USB Port (strangely the COMs switch between 6 and 7).
SP Flashtool Memory Test also says:
Error: NAND Flash not detected!
Error: UFS not detected!

I don't know what I can do anymore, I hope that someone can help me.
Just for someone else who comes here the ROM (at least the stock ROM)... Go to 4PDA. I went 6 days trying to learn how to fix the phone without knowing anything about any of this, and luckly I found 4PDA... It has ROMs of the phone. Stock ROMs (which was what I wanted) and modified ROMs. Nowhere else I found stock ROMs for it... I REALLY recommend that website for ANYONE who mods the phone... At least if it's not that known, like Blade L3. It's in russian, but if you need, use Google Translate or any other translator and it will work well enough. This phone can't be bricked. I've done many stupid things to it. It's ALWAYS recoverable. I can do whatever I want. It will never be bricked. As long as a phone with a MediaTek chipset has a scatter file and correct files to flash, it can't be bricked. At least from my experience... Cheers!
using SPFlash you need to click on download or if not working click on firmware upgrade, not on format and download!

what do you mean you deleted "SO"?
if i understand correctly you replaced stock recovery with twrp but it can not load because your bootloader is locked.
i am not very well familiar with qfill but you are having wrong port open "900E" . you need to enable "9008".
try if this trick works https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOpZsUQwOrY
fortunately i have the same problem, same phone, unfortunately you need to open it up, as i understand there are some circuits you need to shortcircuit to load the fastboot, looking into this now, will post updates
And how did someone solve a black screen problem after TWRP botting? I have the same problem and I can not deal with it; /

Assuming you still have an the Android OS installed.
Unbrick Meizu M6 note
Hello, why don't you try to flash it with qfil rom?
So about a week ago I was doing stuff on my PC. I take my Redmi 5 Plus (at the time with Pixel Experience installed) and I see that the screen is completely black.
Try to reboot, nothing. Vibration, Black screen for like 5 seconds, repeat.
Try to boot into TWRP, nothing. Fastboot, still that damned black screen.
I decided to reinstall the stock firmware, and I do it through the test point method. The software takes like 40 minutes to do so, but in the end it says "Success!".
Nothing, black screen.
So, I write this post to try and find a solution, or at least now what could have happened as since then I bought the Huawei P20 Lite. It could still be usefull though.
Thanks in advance and good day
@apd911
The time that MiFlash Tool spends to flash a rom in edl mode is aproximately 13 minutes.
Try flashing the firmware that came pre-installed.
You mentioned that you can´t enter to recovery nor fastboot mode before to reinstall the rom stock but after that now you can enter to recovery stock or fastboot?

I flashed many roms in edl mode. here you have two possible situations; if your emmc is damaged pc will detect device and will listed how it´s showed in the screenshot attached but the flash won´t be succesfull not even will start, and second if device it´s not detected in the same way that in the picture then it´s not flashing correctly.

Hello there,
My brother had a Redmi note 4X from last 2-3 years. One fine morning it decided to die and wouldn't start. So i took it upon myself to revive it (as i have the experience with Roms, flashing etc.).
First i tried the usual solutions i.e, MiFlash, but i came to know the bootloader is locked. Then i switched to EDL mode (Testpoint) and successfully flashed the Fastboot Rom (MIUI 8, MIUI10) but the phone wouldn't start, stuck on MI logo or bootloop.
Then i searched here and came across QFIL tool. First i got Sahara errors, searched for the solutions and came to know that you have to press the Download button ASAP after you connect EDL mode. Solved the Sahara error, Rom started to flash but suddenly it showed ' Process Failed: Attempted to divide by zero '.
Tried again, same error. Now whenever i process reaches to flash my ' Userdata.img ', it shows Attempted to divide by zero error. Everything else works fine, the drivers are good, the files are good, tried different fastboot roms, but when it comes to flash userdata.img, it shows error and fails.
while it gets successfully flasheflashed in MiFlash (but bootloop).
Now it doesnt seem to have any solution left (i couldnt find). so i have resorted to post it here.
It would be a great help if anything helpful is posted here.
Regards.
Have you choosen "clean all" during MiFlash?
If not use clean all option.
Remember also to put ROM in short named catalog inside of systemroot drive like that:

Use QPST version 2.7.438.3 (Google it), anything below and you get userdata write error
Xiaomi mi 11i
firmware trying to install:
MIUI V12.5.7.0.RKKEUXM Stable Official Update for Mi 11i EEA (haydn)
using Miflash.
Bootloader unlocked
So, after installing the software update i tried rooting my phone again with the same method I used before.
This time I got stuck in a bootloop so I tried flashing my phone, hoping it would work. The first time it froze, so I tried redoing the process. This constantly gave me an error or it just froze.
Now, if I reinstall the firmware and try to flash it, I get an error after a while that says "FAILED (error reading sparse file)."(1)
Then when I try to use the same file to flash my phone I get another error "FAILED (write to device failed (no link)). "This one then keeps happening until I restart my pc.
So when I extract the firmware again, I also have to restart my Pc then I first get the same (1) error en then the second one after that.
I should also mention that I get the error: "error: missmatching image and device". So I just edit the bat file to remove those lines that check for this since it should be the correct fimrware.

The Rom file you installed before and you are trying to root , You Should install the same Rom file Again via Fastboot , Once you installed you can use your phone… (there might be some sort of bug or error that sometimes some versions of rom stuck in bootloop coz in past when i flashed Unofficial build of pixel experience rom and tried to root i also got stuck in bootloop). You should wait for Another update from xiaomi then you can try to root or you can use Another version of rom. Iam using i am using XIAOMI EU 12.5.7.0 RKKCNXM Also Successfully Rooted. You can check my post how to root without custom recovery by patching boot image in forum in recent posts.
