Need stock/factory recovery.img for hp 10 1901 tablet model-F5H93PA , please. Can be found in amazon
I took a risk and flashed samsung s2 plus TWRP, because of the common SOC broadcom BCM281X5 used, but fails to recovery-boot. But system is booting ok ( aboot and boot image are good ). HP doesn't provide one. Model sold in india only. If someone has extracted recovery.img from a live system using adb shell and DD, please post it here or email me to [email protected]. Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone,
I just bought a 7 inch tablet with 3G support from China, Yifang Digital. Sold by e-fun. The first week was ok, but suddenly after I've installed MX player with incompatible codec ( I've download codec for ARMv5 instead of ARMv7 ), the tablet restarted and hang on boot (look like a boot loops).
I've search all over the internet but couldn't find any solution how to revieved the tablet.
So, I would like our very talented devs out here to help me on this. From my observation, it look like a brick for now. Usually if there is any stock firmware I've could reflash it.
The stock recovery is Android 3E recovery. This tablet doesn't have any reset hole. To get to 3e recovery, need to hold power and volume + button simultaneously then release both.
I have the original build.prop and /system/recovery-from-boot.p which I manage to pull after root it.

Hi stock firmware from supplier has been received. The problem now was I could identify which partition is needed to flash the specific image. Since now the tablet is just detected as Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM, no fastboot or recovery mode. I'll send it back to supplier for repair.

Hey guys!
This is my first post so, first of all sorry for my english errors and newbie questions.
I'm trying to find a way to set the device to boot up when plugged into the charger until see the charging animation. I know that have a lot of posts that talk about this but no one can give me a solution for Rockchip based devices.
I've bought an Alcatel One touch Evo 7 a few days ago, and other tablets based on the rockchip and all of them have the same problem.
I've bought an Allwinner A13 based tablet too and by downloading the script.bin, converting to fex and change the [target] power_start = 1 everything went simply perfect!
But i can't find how can i get or if i can get the script.bin from rockchip based device because doesn't exist the /dev/block/nanda, instead of this my boot mountpoint is /dev/block/mtdblock2. I've tried to mount the mtdblock2 as i've done with the nanda on allwinner but without success.
Another idea was add the "/system/bin/reboot" on the init.rc on charger area but i've downloaded the boot.img, unpacked, changed the init.rc and repacked, flashed via Batch Tools successfully but without any change. Simple like i never did any changes on the boot.img, don't change anything.
I've tried to put into fastboot mode and then will send the command "fastboot oem off-mode-charge 0", but i can't get into this mode. The tablet reboot's into bootloader mode but when i type fastboot devices on linux, mac and windows (even installing all the drivers) simply doesn't return anything.
Please if anyone can give me any idea or clue i'm very grateful.
Thanks!
Please check if the tablet say all time, that he was charging, also by not conected charger
Hi
I would really appreciate some help,
I have a Cube i6 dual boot tablet however the Android partition is too small for what I need.
So is there a way that I can increase the Android partition and decrease the Windows partition?
Alternatively I thought I would try and flash the tablet with the Android image using the Manufacturing Flash Tool, thereby removing Windows but when I run the MFT my tablet doesn't show up so I'm not able to flash it.
I've gone through the instructions and installed the iSocUSB driver and the Intel Android Driver on my Win 7 PC..
I've installed the MFT and copied the Custom Config file into the MFT installation directory.
In device manager under Android Phone I can see Intel Android Composite ADB Interface and under Intel Soc I can see Intel Soc USB Driver, is that correct?
In MFT I go to settings and change the settings to:
SOC devices VID: 8087, PID: 0A65;
Android devices VID: 8087,PID: 09EF
I choose the XML file to install but then nothing happens because my tablet doesn't show up in MFT.
I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks
Increasing the Android Partition Size on Cube i6 Dual Boot
I want to second this request. I have not been impressed with Windows, so I need to increase the partition size for Android or eliminate Windows entirely.
Any suggestion?
Update: I used a different PC and was able to see the tablet in MFT and the flash began. It got part way through the process and the tablet restarted but now it's just stuck on a black screen with an EFI Shell prompt, so no closer to installing the Android image.
Wow, i believe Cube Tablet should give the full instruction of the partition for both Android and Windows OS for its customers.
Besides, i'm also concerned whether there will be any update for the Cube i6 Air Dual Boot tablet? I can't find it any where. I'm eagerly in need to update the latest firmware for my Cube i6 tablet.
Hello,
I was able to flash cube many times.
There is actually an update here :
http://www.51cube.com/ch/DownShow.asp?ID=364 - i used google translate to flash it successfully
however it is still android 4.4.4.
Regarding partitioninig, sure you can. You need to update partition.tbl file.
I did it. I tried to flash rom from telcast where they do have android 5. successfully.
But comparing partition tables I found out they are different, MFT did it without yelling.
Also I exchanged several files and used flash file from cube rom mentioned above, to be more specific I exchanged following files (taken from telcast 5 rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61079769&postcount=8387)
boot.img
partition.tbl
recovery.img
system.img
However touch screen is not working, but at least I have got a boot. Thats where I end, I can not fix touchscreen drivers here, I am too dumb for that
I would appreciate if somebody would create a new rom for cube . If somebody is skilled enough, I can provide more detailed information and files I used.
Asking any further help from me is pointless, as I am not an expert and not so deep acknowledged.
Hi, I am in the same situation; received my Cube i6 yesterday. Did you finally succeed in either flashing an Android-only ROM, or changing partion size? How did you manage? Thanks!
Dear all,
same issue for me... keep me updated I will keep on searching

I don't have this device and i can only locate 1 thread where you might be able to obtain some member guidance within that's specific to your device.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3654507
Good Luck!

I DO NOT provide support via PM unless asked/requested by myself. PLEASE keep it in the threads where everyone can share.
Do you think it could possibly be a Windows tablet and someone tried flashing Android on it I posted the model number and what not I could post a photo of the recovery because it's all good it's all like lines through the words and stuff like this just a thought I had

Your question is a valid one that prompted me to perform a quick Google search using the model number and such and after looking at a little over a half dozen results, I came to the following conclusion.
This came with Android 6.0 and was a budget Tablet that costs approximately $100.00 +/- brand new.
It seems as though the individual who had given you the tablet may have been unsuccessfully attempted one or more actions like Unlocking, Rooting, etc...
With a very limited amount of resources available for this device, there's really not much out there for help but, I'm not stating that there's no help. It's more of where to find it that's the challenge.
I wish that I could be of more help...
Good Luck!

Thank you very much for your time and help. At least I know it was most likely someone's fuk up then faulty
Still been messing with it cuz I have hope it's just soft breaking set but I got into the recovery log files going through them I found this one section I screenshotted check it out it's the same bored as the 8a 16gig version of what not so like those other post around where is has been mentioned to use the 8a Twrp etc on the 10a because it's the same board. This tablet is like the 2nd or 3rd gen that came out 2017 which has like at all winners CPU or something instead of Intel or something like that I've read somewhere and it also has Android nougat 7. 1 out the gate. So in theory I should be able to put that 8a twrp & boot Image to match on this one and then downgrade to 5. 1 or do something like remix Os or something custom.
??!?!?!!!!??????
so how the puck do I put a picture attached of the recovery log.

I have the same tablet I think. I can turn on and off and boat into recovery(words are faced and have lines through them) but I'm its staying stuck with Nextbook showing on screen. I'm trying to find stock or something so I can flash and get it fixed. Its a Nextbook 10" Model:NX16A10132sps. FCC ID: S7JNX16A10132SPS. Ill let you know if I find anything
I have both A64 and Intel versions.
The twrp for the 8a DIDN'T work on the A64 when I tried it.
It DOES work on the Intel.
If you can get to stock recovery and its messed up looking with the lines and stuff, that's the A64 version.
Don't hesitate to ask if anyone needs help if it's Intel.
My A64's are both bricked still so i'd be useless there.
Here are my backups from the Intel version.
Ares10a_NXM1021CAP_ES-IntelAtom-[NX16A10132SP-S] - Google Drive
drive.google.com
And how to tell exactly which you have.
Trying to help a friend fix a Nextbook NX16A10132S/NXM1021CAP that is caught in a boot loop.
This is an Intel Atom based unit.
FTM mode is accessible (limited adb command support).
DNX mode is accessible (limited fastboot command support).
Based on the information in the build.prop file, it would appear to be an Android 6.0.1 system: ro.build.description=NXM1021CAP-user 6.0.1 MMB29M 20160919.050843 release-keys.
I cannot find any ROM, Update or image files for Android 6.
I would attempt re-flashing the unit to Android 5, but the image files linked to your post do not include the android_system or android_data partitions.
As I understand it, the android_data partition only holds user data and consequently does not need to be flashed, it only needs to be wiped, but the android_system partition is a must.
Do you know if stock Android 6 firmware is available anywhere?
If not, do you have a stock Android 5 image of the android_system partition?
Or, if I am completely off course, can you please advise?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Hi. I have a Lenovo Tab 4 8 inch tablet (TB-8704F). I rooted the tablet and in the process of trying to get rid of the Wifi feature I tried deleting the file wlan.ko from /system/lib/modules. Now the tablet refuses to start and it's not detected by my computer. I assume it's soft or hard bricked. Anyone could help to re-soft it or something like that?
Any luck yet ?
Any luck yet? Can you get the device in Fastboot mode ? In case you need IMG files: Using the brilliant YouTube tutorial from RootJunky on 'How to pull your own stock Android firmware from your device', I have pulled BOOT.IMG, SYSTEM.IMG and RECOVERY.IMG from my device, TB-8704F - Android 8.1.0.
