Hello guys!!
Previously I was running on marshmallow and I wanted to test emui 5 with nougat. So I flashed TWRP recovery without any problem after unlocking my bootloader.I then flashed a beta update for emui 5 and it went without any errors. But when I booted into the device there was no network in my cell.I tried to troubleshoot it but couldn't do much.So I thought of rolling back to previous version through my nandroid backup. So I booted my device to recovery but the TWRP recovery was gone..So I again tried to flash it..Every thing would go fine but when I rebooted to recovery it won't boot into TWRP..It would just freeze in there..I used TWRP recovery for Huawei honor 5x as it was compatible with my device.. can anyone help me..I would appreciate it a lot ?
Still no help
you need nougat compatible TWRP , marshmallow recovery won't work
I need nougat twrp recovery for my gr5 mini (nmo_l31) please give me the .img file. thanks in advance.
I've always been on Openkirin roms, but I wanted to tested the new EMUI9 rom. I followed a guide from Openkirin to go back to stock EMUI, but I directly used EMUI 9 files. So I flashed by fastboot EMUI9 SYSTEM.IMG, KERNEL.IMG, RECOVERY_RAMDISK.IMG.
Now is my Honor 9 stuck in a bootloop. I can only access erecovery (the white version). At this moment (after hours of trying and trying) I've not succeeded in booting into TWRP after flashing it. I can't even get into stock Recovery. Also download mode is no option.
Someone who can help me how to fix this?
I tried to install twrp on my Xiaomi mia3 but it stocks in fastboot, so I had to install again my stock Android 10. Is there anyway to install the twrp on stock room without roll back to Android 9 ? Thanks.
yes may problem with install twrp on stock Android 10
My phone is still running on Android 9 with march security patch. I received an update prompt saying that it has May 2020 patch (1.33Gb size) . I would love to get the latest security patch but not the Android 10. With that file size, I think it contains android 10 as well, is that correct?
Yes and you won't receive any more security patch updates for Android 9.
All newer builds of the stock rom are android 10
Is it possible to disable automatic update from android 9 to 10? Not to download android 10. For example, for Huawei is possible via ADB. I have xiaomi mi a3 it worked fine for me 9 and as installed 10 is a massacre.

Yes by unlocking bootloader you won't receive any official update from Xiaomi/Google
Then flash latest V10.3.16.0.PFQMIXM (Android 9)

Unlocked bootloader will NOT prevent official OTA update from downloading and installing. OTA won't be installed if it fails verification of boot or system partition (Magisk or TWRP installed, system partition mounted as R/W, etc.).
But has anyone received this update in the Global version?
Is it possible to get root permissions with Magisk and Emui 10?
I've unlocked bootloader and I'm running Emui 9 rooted with Magisk.
