Hello, im new in root and all that stuff.
I have my Moto g 3gen phh supersu Rooted, xposed framework instaled, and magisk instaled.
My phone have android 5.1.1 and it shows me the message to update to android 6.0
Can i update to android 6.0 with my phone rooted, xposed framework instaled, and magisk instaled?
Or do i need to unroot my phone and uninstall those programs to update to 6.0?
Will i lost any info when i update android?
Thanks!
I'm pretty sure you will lose your root if you update your phone legitimately, but if you simply place the android 6.0 firmware on the root of your sd card and boot into the devices the bootloader and hence updating the phone that way, you should still have your root and other software installed.
I just flashed & decided to stay with MIUI for few days, I know that I if Flash TWRP to install SuperSU and gain root access this way I won't be able to install ota updates.
So, before I root my phone I want to ask you guys, is there any way to ROOT redmi Note 3(Kenzo) running on MIUI 8 without breaking OTA updates?
[ZCX TWRP] Install TWRP and Flash SuperSu without breaking incremental OTA's!
is there a twrp available for this phone? and/or any root method for magisk?
waiting also for TWRP for this phone.
Hello everybody,
I have a Huawei Mate 10 (ALP-L09 C432) with stock rom version B128.
I rooted it with Magisk 16.0 and works fine, but not with a aplication named EDS, for manage encryptrd containers. In logs, i can see problems with root.
I would try SuperSu, but i can't find any method for install it without TWRP, and there isn't TWRP for this Mate 10 model.
I tried to root the device with kingroot and after replace it with superSU, but KingRoot not works for me (it stays at 01% and not continue the process.
I cannot find any method to replace Magisk with SuperSU without TWRP.
May be a solution for my situation?
Best regards.
I have been able to install superSU with FunkyHuawei, but I reverted root to Magisk again, I see it more flexible.
After some tests I have seen that the problem of tthe app that I mentioned in first comment is related with SELinux, root part is working fine.
The question about root of this thread is now solved for me.
Best regards.
You guys have found any way to bypass this root verification on Fortnite? Even if we remove TWRP and flash a stock rom it doesn't work. Uninstalling Magisk doesn't work either.
Hmmm,
What if we remove root from our device?
