Hi all, first of all I'd like to apologize for my dumb questions (if I make any) and for if I'm posting in the wrong place, kinda new in here.
I explain my situation: I had a hardbricked X820 (I don't remember how it got bricked because it was like one year ago but I think it is a matter of hardware because I think I remember it fell off from such a high place, don't know yet and that's why I made this thread) and I followed quite a lot of guides (A LOT) and it seemed that the only working method was using FlashOne tool with QFIL files. It seemed everything went well until it finished the flashing process. After booting up the device it happens nothing, and sometimes I see the booting logo of LeEco followed by what it seems a shut-down with blinking red led. It sometimes aswell appears the blue led when booting into system and also when trying to boot to recovery. Fastboot mode works fine btw.
I have already spent more than 20 hours trying to fix this, but all I got is:
- device can already boot after following this guide (before I got nothing but red led light when trying to boot)
- device boots but wether:
It stucks in the booting logo
screen turns off and blue led appears
screen turns off and a blinking red led appears
- can't boot into recovery, even by booting an image from fastboot mode. Recovery booting screen doesn't even display and blue led appears again
- fastboot mode is fine and the device is recognized by the computer
I first thought it was that some hardware was causing the issue because of the fall but after seeing it can communicate with the computer and boot into fastboot mode I don't think it's a matter of hardware... But still I wanted to consult you expert guys
I'm a bit fed up and out of ideas... What can you guys come up with? I really need help. I'm completely stuck.
I might have (for sure) forgotten to give more relevant info so don't hesitate to ask!
Thanks a lot in advance!
If you like you phone and If nothing work, I hard brick a kindle fire 6 hd and replace the motherboard that I found for cheap and the tablet is back and working like new.

That's a good idea! But I've been seeking cheap mobos and I can't find any... I'm very poor and I can't afford buying new hardware for a device I'm not using daily, that's why I wanted to know if the issue was about hardware, something I see clearer every time... :crying: :crying:

Once your phone booted into twrp recovery, your phone is alive.
Download twrp 3.2.3-1-x2 and custom rom and save in otg drive for recovery flashing.

So I rooted my HTC ONE S (villec2) today, and I wanted to flash a custom rom on it. I got a recovery (turned out to be a bad one, but it worked either way.... I noticed way too late it was made for HTC One M8) I got TWRP 2.7.1.0 and I got it working on my phone. I then backed up the system, and realized I messed up the recovery. In the meantime I got a CM 12.1 img on it and wiped the thing. The wipe removed the old Android system and the CM I downloaded was a bad download. If I go to recovery in the bootloader, it will just do the HTC white screen with "Entering Recovery" and the red warning logo but it won't get anywhere. It's just stuck there. So now, I'm stuck with a device that won't boot normally - just stuck on the white HTC screen, will boot into bootloader, and I want to know if there's a way of accessing the internal storage without being in the operating system. The worst thing is, there's no external SD Card, all just internal... Please god help me. I'm really stressing out about this since it's the only phone I have and if I lose it.... well I'm practically f-ed.... :crying: I know that I messed a few things up really badly and I'm not sure what state the phone is in.
Also just to add, the phone is barely loading up right now. I'm really scared since it's my only phone and it won't even boot normally right now. It's really acting strange, it was on 90% battery but now it might just be dead... i don't know.... someone please help
I honestly think I screwed it up.... All it does now is just a white flash / flicker when I hold the power button (both only power button and vol down) and that's it. I'm really disappointed right now but oh well.... Maybe just because the battery is not charged.... Also been looking around the other threads and looks like a lot of people had the same issue but with 0 replies...

I have no way of trying the stock rom. I cannot access the phone itself because I deleted the OS. There's a weird thing, that if I plug the USB to the computer, it does the connect windows sound but the phone's internal storage is still not accessible.... So as it turns out I can get to the freaking bootloader but then it just turns off with a white flicker a second later.... I have no clue what to do :crying:
try to hook your device with windows and hold the Volume Down and Power
to see if it can detect it

Alright. I slept through the night and now I'm here trying to resolve this again. Status now, is that when I try to boot it up, it just shows a white flicker and won't turn on. no matter if i try to boot in bootloader or normally. The device doesn't appear to be charging when I plug it in because it doesn't show the LED light for charging. I think it's hard bricked. I tried other threads, showing bright light to the proximity sensor, but nothing happened.
//edit// - My bootloader was unlocked, and I was on S-ON (HTC ONE S, S3 villec2) that might change on your phone and might make the process different
So I fixed it. I will leave the tutorial for anyone in the future that might be having the same issue. If you "locked yourself out" of your system, eg. no OS, and broken recovery just plug it into the computer, try somehow getting into bootloader, go into fastboot and plug the usb cable to your computer so you're in Fastboot USB. Then you can flash a recovery on the phone using a fastboot command. I believe it's fastboot flash recovery _filename_. Just google that, there'll be plenty. Then you have the recovery and you're back on track. After that you can get the rom you wanted. Just don't make my mistake, and check if your device is exactly the same as the files you're downloading for it. I messed up there . Anyway, good luck everyone!
t
yea
Happy to hear that u have fixed your phone add "solved " to the title and add a fast tutorial for help purpose
Sent from my thl T6 pro using XDA Free mobile app
Hi guys. So I have been going through xda and Google for hours and hours trying solutions, to no avail. I almost never post on forums for help because I can usually find the solution. Not this time. This is my last resort next to throwing my phone out a window or praying for death's sweet release.
The facts: I have a rooted Xperia Z3v. I tried to upgrade TWRP in order to follow some directions on upgrading to Nougat. I flashed TWRP from 2.8.X.X to 3.X.X.X. I rebooted and it never made it to the Sony logo. Now, if I plug the phone in to either a wall socket or PC it vibrates, endlessly at three second intervals, each time with red LED. If I try to enter flash mode, then its the same but with a brief green led after the red. I can enter fastboot (the only way to stop it vibrating while plugged in) and my PC sees it, including Flashtool, but since my bootloader is locked permanently, I can't really do much with it.
When plugged into the wall-charger, I noticed that the charger's LED changes from "Active" to "Inactive" with every vibration. I'm pretty sure I'm in a reboot loop. The screen is totally dead and there's no logo, but every three seconds it kills it self and comes back.
I have tried everything I could think of.
What I have:
I have the stock firmware ready to go
I have TWRP backups on SD card and PC
I have Flashtool
I think my drivers are good, but not 100% sure
I can fastboot
I'm at my wit's end and losing hope.
Please, I'm open to any suggestions at all.
Helloooo,
I have a big problem, cant get my phone running again.
The sad thing is, I just got it 4 hours ago
So heres what I have done to my Phone:
I rooted it with Kingo-Root and then installed a app where TWRP was listed, there also was CWM and stuff and I thought I have to flash my phone there with TWRP to install a new ROM and stuff and I clicked there on flash.
Then it asked me if I want to restart in, I cant remember recovery and/or download mode, I clicked yes and from there the trouble began.
When it starts the Coolpad Logo appears, then it say "Download and install the package?", to confirm volume up, to abort volume down. If I press abort, it just goes off, the restart may leads to the battery charging screen ( usb cable is always connected!!), if I press volume up, it says "Information - Do not disconnect data cable", but it says it for forever, nothing happens.
If data cable isnt connected, it shows Logo and then goes off, doesnt do anything.
I wish I would have never done that, Im too stupid for stuff like that.
Can someone help me out?
Hopefully
Hi are you able to enter in TWRP recovery in orden to try to flash him back to stock rom ?
Sadly no
I read some stuff on the internet, and tried it:
I installed andoid studio on my PC, with all that drivers, connected the Phone to my PC and looked it up in the device manager.
Before it was just recognized as "Other devices - Android" without any information, now I had the Hardware ID and put that into the setup text of Google drivers and installed them.
My PC somekind recognizes the phone. (but not like normally)
Maybe i can get the Stock Rom to phone that way somehow?
Edit: its called adb interface in device manager
Now I tried to set up the stock-rom via YGDP, and well, it kinda worked.
Im now out of this mode.
If I start the phone it makes its starting sound and it response to "key"-presses by vibrating, but, no screen, its just pitch black.
Its not listed in device-manager anymore.
Any suggestions?
bad support.

That is probably because you flash incompatible firmware which does not recognize display of your device .
Search on the internet for another genuine rom and repeat flashing process .
I had alsmost same issue when I flashed Blu Studio D572i with rom of D572a as I remember , was black screan completely but buttons are working (showing light) .
Hey guys,
so my Nexus 5x all of a sudden shut itself down all of a sudden and was stuck in a bootloop (in this case I'm talking about the thing always booting until the Google logo and then restarting itself). Fortunately for me the device was still unlocked (but for some reason I didn't have TWRP installed anmore...) so I tried to install an earlier factory img. Turns out I didn't have enough space on my phone to unpack, so being a smartass I thought 'Hey, locking the device wipes all of my stuff.' Well... Should have thought about how to unlock it again.
Current state is:
1 the phone boots until Google logo and then is stuck (no more rebooting though)
2 when I try to enter Recovery mode it boots until Google logo and then reboots to state 1
3 the device is locked so I can't flash anything from my PC
So does anyone have an idea what's left to do other than smashing the thing against the wall, burning it to ashes and dancing around the fire? I am currently messing around with those instructions
https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-5x/help/guide-fix-bootloop-locked-bootloader-t3608679
but it doesn't seem I can unlock the phone from my PC (which was what I guessed but I'm pretty much clutching at any straw now...)
Thanks in advance
I used to have the CWM bootloader and the ViperXperia V5.0 mod on this phone. All obtained here in this forum many years ago.
I tried to updated it with 5.1.1_r3 FlexOS - haida-hallon [25-05-15] Official.
If I did my reading homework right, CWM wouldn't work with it so I had to upload a new bootloader. I followed the instructions here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1752270
I rebooted the phone with 'adb reboot-bootloader' and flashed it with boot.img and I saw something new on the phone, an XDA screen I had never seen before. But that was it, now my phone just keeps flashing the "SONY" logo every few minutes. The logo turns up, the screen light becomess more intense for a couple of seconds, the phone vibrates for a fraction of a second and the green Power light lights up. That is very familiar behavior. The phone does that when it is about to start up. But it seems it can't and keeps trying over and over. Obviously, abd and fastboot can't detect the phone. Is there anything I can do?
TIA
