Hi... i bought Dell venue last week.. i activated 3g connection on my phone but i cannot access any site from my browser.... anroid market and other apps which uses internet are working fine.. i downloaded UC Browser and Dolphin HD browser but both failed to open any pages...
pleaseeeee sort me out any solution for me....

there is no reason for that restart ur phone and wipe data and cache and check it again if it works!

Try any custom rom available here by following proper steps may be in custom rom it works fine

yes it will but any time u can revert back to stock rom.

Shakes_aqua put the following lines in your build.prop file and see if that helps.
net.dns1=8.8.8.8
net.dns2=8.8.4.4
Reboot after adding these.

I've had a similar issue, and in my case this resolved it...through some googling i found out that the browsers are automatically being proxied to an unknown host and that caused this problem..What you could do is Install this App...APL DEMO from Google Play..
Run the App..Enter a URL like : "google" please put it in a URL format
You would see an option "Test : Get URL" choose that
you would see that some traffic is generated and you will be able to send a request to google.
After you do that..choose the Edit option
and leave the Host name blank
and also the Port blank and Save the settings.
After this is done Choose the option Test : Open URL in new window
Try putting in a URL and now your Browsers should work just fine.

HOW TO push themes to your phone from your pc from the xiamoi website, comes in handy if you don't have your phone or you just want to check out themes on your pc:
Sign up for an account with xiamoi on the site or your phone using your email.
Themes: http://zhuti.xiaomi.com/ you have to use the chinese website as the english miui.com does not have the themes. you'll need a translator for the pages.
Find the theme you want and then click the green button "pushed to your"
You'll also need MI Chat app on your phone. http://www.miliao.com/download you can get it from playstore
Login using your xiamoi ID number and password.
Xiamoi uses MI Chat to push to your device.
It will then be downloaded by your phone with the downloads app. Simply click on it and apply.
I found this handy when looking for new themes on pc and easier than downloading them and transferring them to the phone.

I am writing test packages for Parental Control Browser . When we install that Parental control Browser first its ask Username and Password . Once its logged . Then we cannot open login page . i had this problem on my android 5.1 , after tried many way to fix , i found a new working way for my phone ,you must try this step :
1) STEP 1. Go to the Google page where it is showing to enter the login details. Â Shown in below fig.
STEP 2. Now you have to find that How can you go to the Phone Setting from the keyboard. First You try to go to the Keyboard Setting anyhow and from there to the Phone Setting. It is pretty simple.
NOTE: You can go to the keyboard setting from the Keyboard itself. You have to find that after pressing which key it will take you to Keyboard setting option. Like in my case (using Google keyboard) I can go to the Google Setting by holding the commas for some sec. Â So you have to find this yourself , Which key takes you to keyboard setting.
STEP 3. When you are at the Keyboard Setting. Chick on the three dot menu at the top to the right.
STEP 4. Go to About  and then to Open source Licences and copy any text there.
STEP 5. After copying text, there is Search bar option appears in the top to the right. Click on search bar.
STEP 6. Then it will show to Complete Action using. You will click on Chrome only.
STEP 7. In the search bar of Chrome, type SETTING and it also give suggestion of Phone Setting. Â Click on phone setting.
STEP 8. Account / choose exiting / enter email and password of any gmail account to sign in / just wait account to sync / just reboot the phone
STEP 9. ACCOUNT ADDED ( FRP BYPASSED)

1) turn on the Huawei media pad/phone, unlock the screen
2) plug in to computer/laptop windows 7,8 or windows 10
3) on the Huawei media pad screen, it will pop up usb setting, select hiSuite usb type option
4) at the andoid setting, please go to about table setting, then enable developer mode by taping 7 times at Build number
5) still at android setting, go to security, make sure your android Screen lock setting is set under Huawei unlock,the go to shortcut setting, need to set to google app and android setting app.
6) install HiSuite to your computer - this is the Huawei official computer device managed software tool
7) install iRoot software to your computer. careful with this installation, it full of bloatware, but don't worry it don't have a virus.
8) run the iRoot and it will root your device. It will restart your Huawei pad multiple times.
9) after it root complete, unlock your device then go to google play ( as your android unlock setting option have the google play as describe in step 5)
10) install System app remover from google play
11) open the app, go to inside the app setting, remove setting Hide core system app
