All G965U and U1 models have locked bootloaders. There is no way to enable OEM Unlock.
You can't use G965F files on it since the hardware is completely different.
Always check for VoLTE compatibility before buying. The G965U/U1 is intended for US markets only.

Do we have a solution to this one? I got an S9+ from Dubai and i live in India. Can i directly flash the India firmware on this phone?
From my experience I've added my Indian card to Samsung Pay of a different country and it's worked fine.
Why don't you try adding normally?
If you get any message, please share it here.
I assume you get the same connection error as me. But yes on some models you can change the css to reflect a samsung pay supported country. Check sam mobile for a baseband from a country try that supports spay and make sure it's the same model. Iirc there are 3 s9+ models unlocked, international, dual sim. Unlucky for me my Latin America one cant have it s country changed.View attachment 4621001

Same issue here. Although when I went to add my Debit Card, the UAE Firmware Samsung Pay
accepted my card and is working fine. The only issue I had was that it showed offers of UAE and not India. I flashed the Indian Firmware on my device and now I have the Indian Samsung Pay app.

sm-g9650 hong kong firmware to usa?

I've been reading up on firmware options on here but can't figure out a straight answer. I have the hong kong version of the s9 plus 256gb with the snapdragon chip. My question is can you use odin to flash USA firmware to it? Without getting a hard brick.
Like the fully unlocked firmware for us models that isn't tied to carriers. Thanks.

i have the same question...any answer?
I do not know, but it would be great if you would upload your firmware to https://androidfilehost.com
Also, would you please tell me if you are able to use the native call recording functionality that Samsung pushed out in May with your phone
Sorry for no punctuation my keyboard is screwed up for some reason
Thanks Very Much

Based on what I've reviewed this look to be the best option to do so once you confirm the firmware is compatible.

Changing CSC of an unlocked S9+ G965U

Hello everyone. I'm struggling to find a starting point on how to change the csc of my phone. I haven't changed a csc before and there are lots of conflicting info on the forum. I'm familiar with Odin and flashing ROMs in general.
I bought my phone from the US, and it has the AT&T G65USQU1ARBI (unlocked) software, however, I live outside the US and I want to change the CSC. I want Samsung Pay to show me offers from my region.
Where to start?
Should I flash a different ROM straight away? and would that change my CSC? Obviously, I don't want any of the AT&T features, so I don't mind changing the ROM.
Is there a ROM that I can flash that supports multi-CSC options? The Samsung variant in my region is Exynos, so can I still change the CSC to my region with my Snapdragon S9+ ?
Thanks guys.
EDIT: Just learned about the snapdragon root dilemma. So I guess the root option will be dismissed.
I bought a s9 + G965F with csc Singapore but I use in Brazil 4G network is ok but I can not use voLTE and Wi-Fi calling can someone help me? version of the OXM operator.

Note 9 usa version using in india

Hey guys i have taken an unlocked variant of galaxy note 9 in usa before i moved back to india and after coming here i have observed that i cant use features like samsung pay as it asks for a zip code when i enter the card number and not been able to use volte baser carrier. The carrier which i use now sucks but i am forced. My firmware version is n960u1 and after a ton of research i found out that volte will be active in n960u variants. Is there any possible way so that i can flash my rom to the indian version? And people say rooting my phone would do the trick but i dint find any root either. Please help out there should be some way right?
And also a small doubt does the note 9 show bessels
While recording a video? My note 9 does not record in full screen

Question Difference between S918B and S918U model

Hello . I have a question about the Galaxy S23 ultra from 2023 all models are equipped with snapdragon 888 gen 2 before in B model Samsung use their exynos chip so what's the best deal the main difference now between U model And B , can we change our U model csc to like B to enable call recording, can we flash B model firmware on it ?
The biggest difference is that u and u1 models can never be oem unlocked because samsung completely removed that option from the software. The other models can be oem unlocked.
Without oem unlock root and BL unlock is just not possible.
As for csc changes, I've tried to change my u1 csc to a B csc and it just won't do it. As for call recording I can't get native to work on the u1 but I have the app called skvalex call recorder and it works on my S23U

Your comment seems to suggest it is Samsung's choice to remove that option, while I understand it is merely a locally imposed requirement (providers? authorities?)

It's not local or providers because other devices sold here can be oem unlocked same as the carriers here allow oem unlocks on devices. Just not samsung. I've been told it's Qualcomm that makes samsung do this but why would they just do it to samsung because Qualcomm supplies components for other manufacturers that sell here yet they can be oem unlocked. The way I see it, it's just a way for samsung to prevent using any other roms on their devices in the US.
My question is why we cannot flash B firmware on it and does U model also has dual sim hardware like B and E model

No dual physical sim but there's 1 sim and esim but you can try to flash the B firmware but it gives an error. I'm willing to bet that even if you could force the flash that it wouldn't boot because samsung would probably make it a brick on purpose for anyone who tried to force it.
I had Galaxy s21 Fe snapdragon model single sim no esim and I converted it to dual sim a physical dual sim device
Both have physically different antenna/modems in them.

Wow, I haven't had Samsung since S3 but was looking at the ultra; and seen unlocked on Amazon(referring to network I suppose), I'm sure thankful to see this info. I was thinking about getting the international version for T-Mobile in US? Thanks for suggesting, advice, etc.
