I've noticed that the home animation (swipe up) on the pocophone doesn't work properly. It's meant to return to the app icon as shown in settings > full screen > home example. Instead the apps float to the middle of the screen then glitch out and disappear. Any ideas if this will be fixed in miui 11?
It's been fixed in open beta.
Also when an app is opened through app drawer, and you try to swipe up to go home, it wont take u home but back to app drawer. I dont know if this has been fixed in the latest beta

Is this Version: 9.3.14 (MIUI10)? And do apps smoothly return to it's icon when swiping home?
Issue fixed on 9.3.14

I've just this minute flashed the latest CM11 zip file on my SIII through the CM update in the settings and I was surprised to see that it was relatively slower than other updates and there was also a lot of screen tearing and juttering when going from app to app and scrolling down the screen.
Anyway, the problem occurred when I tried going to back to an older version, it successfully installed the older version without a hitch but the problem is that the home screen UI crashes every time I press the home button. I can do everything else on my phone, I can pull down the notification pane and gain access to all the tiles there and if I get a facebook notification for example, I can load up facebook but as soon as I press the home button I get a message saying 'Unfortunately, Trebuchet has stopped.'
I know there are always problems when reverting back to a previous version but I was wondering if there would be an easy way to fix this without having to factory reset my phone.
EDIT - I just updated back to the latest version and the home screen UI is back but I don't really want to be on this version as it is laggy so if there's a way to use an older version without the home screen error then I'm all ears.
As you can see with the screenshot, I have the settings open which I opened through the tiles pane but trying to press the home button will result in that message popping up every time.

Just go back to a nightly where it didnt crash and you have a smooth UI. There is no problem with that. Dirty flashing works in both directions

That what I did do. I was using cm-11-20140131 then I updated to cm-11-20140202 which was laggy so I reverted back to cm-11-20140131 which was working before the update and this is where I encountered the home screen UI crash

Try another nightly. If you can open the settings, go to apps and look for the launcher. Clear its data and cache then

Same, with my GS4. Tried going back a few nightlies and back to the M release, but Trebuchet (or Launcher3) keep crashing even after wiping caches. I'm actually looking under Settings > Apps > All and don't see Launcher/Trebuchet anywhere...

This worked for me: Clearing data and cache
Pull down power menu and select settings
Method 1: Clearing data and cache
Go to system settings >> Apps>>Open “All” tab>>Select Trebuchet
Click Force Close>>Clear data and Clear cache of Trebuchet
Restart the phone

Many users use this gesture, so I can't just remove this feature. I'm considering a way to satisfy both of you, but not yet figured out. (I don't want to just add another confusing setting)
Version 2.4.2 beta1 now available on Playstore adds a "nothing". @oasisfeng has delivered! Please check it.

please,if you have, post the final version 2.4.2 (playstore file)
tnx
EDIT:resolved
I talked about the beta. Not the final version. The final version of 2.4.2 will be up on the Playstore after the release of many betas and after @oasisfeng tweaks them based on the feedback. The present stable version is 2.4.1.
Anyway, what is your problem in downloading what you want from the Playstore?
Now 2.4.2 final version is available in Playstore. You can download it from there.
Hi,
fist- I use non-rooted mode, second - I use Nova Prime launcher under Gesture swipe up I added Hibernation + lock screen.
After last update Hibernation + lockscreen don't work when I swipe up. Before I works flawlessly.
Not with even shortcut button on home screen. It starts working after I just use Hibernation shortcut button or hibernate apps in Greenify. Then It works some time and then again stop working.
any solution?

Ah. Me too. I thought I was doing something wrong.
Sorry for the issue, it's fixed in the recent beta version, and will be released to stable channel in some days.

So used to swipe down on any part of home screen to show notification bar when using Nova launcher
but no longer work in s6 (not sure if it's a know TW issue)
tried both Nova and Apex , both not working
Anyone get it to work? Am I doing anything wrong with setting ? or there is a alternative way to overcome the issue

you don't have what is in this image?
weirdly no, I cant find it, I even use the search function
And i noticed there a some little different in design layout as well, such as no "more" button on right top corner as well as no "off" on the switch button
I'm holding the SM-G925I version
This issue is fixed in the beta version of Nova
Just wait for the newest update when they release it and it will work, or download the beta.

It happens on all third parties launchers. Try fluid navigation gestures with nova launcher.

That didn't work. Point I'm try to make is after swiping up from bottom, it should go straight to the home screen, instead it briefly goes to recent then home screen, it may be a bug

Yes I know... It happens to all third party launchers on m20p with the stock gesture...
Fluid navigation gestures is a Google play store app. You can use it to replace your currency stock gestures.

I've noticed that swiping from left or right always works but swiping up doesn't and have open Fluid N.G. to getting working again any way to solve this?
Did you put fluid Ng on manual at app launch in settings? And also you need to switch off Google's battery optimisation for fluid ng

No & how do I set it for battery optimization
1. Settings > battery > app launch > Set to manual (I also set the 3rd party launcher to manual. not sure if that's needed, but you need to do it for fluid ng for sure)
2. Settings > in search type "battery optimisation" > select "all apps" > set to "don't allow" for fluid ng
After EMUI 9 update I can't manage to switch between apps by clicking on the app screen on side of the screen:

You are right, it works only when you start the system with the stock launcher enabled.
