I bought the Asus Zenfone 6 2 Years Ago now all warranties are ended so im ready for installing custom rom so i wanted to ask few question ( Im rookie when it comes to modding android so im sorry if i offended someone with noob questions)
1>I currently have Lollipop Installed on Zenfone 6 is there really big difference ( In terms of Performance, Usability & UI ) in current OS & Marshmallow (6.0.1) Custom Rom ie. Resurrection remix for Zenfone 6, CyanogenMod 13.0 for Zenfone 6 means custom rom really worth taking risk of Bricking phone?
2>Which rom is more stable & better for Asus Zenfone 6 ( A601CG )?
3>Is rom functionality depends on in which country's network are gonna use on phone? ( im from india so is it possible to use this custom rom in here with indian Mobile Networks since several time different country has different Model of Same Phone )
4>Can i Access Google Play Store for Installing Apps & activate License of Purchased Apps.
5>Tell me anything which is necessary to know Before installing custom Rom

Android 6.0 for j3 2016 sn-j320fn has been cormfirmed!!!!
You kidding me. Now when we have 2 Custom ROMs(LOS, RR)
Samsung now remember J3 users.
Arghhhh
Also 320F marhmallow rom port close to final!
But confirmed commimg can mean many weeks, or?
Samsung has too many 320 modell types i think. Even some very same as F and FN differnet Rom... i cant understand doing such minimal diff phones!

Maybe Samsung lies again.
It's not first time...
Nevermind we have LineageOS 13 and if djeman(we) fix HW Composer djeman continue porting LineageOS 14.1 :victory:
Sometimes people who work there doesn't have knowledge and with all the different versions there it is not very clear which phone is mean't. I look at the latest firmware at sammobile weekly. And until now there is not a single version for F or FN with marshmallow. Since this is a low budget phone there priority lies on the expensive phones.
Hope never dies.
But I how there will be at some point official Lineage versions which are updated frequently.
Xaxaxaxa Samsung and OS upgrades.... :laught:
Official list, but better to write same text for J1 ???
Nothing without XDA devs

Hey [email protected] there is mentioned J3 (2016). But there are so many different version: some run stock marshmallow some lollipop.
I don't know if update means one version higher( MM-> N, L-> MM) oder just every version to MM.
To many different phones named J3 (2016)...

MM runs only US Verizon version of J3 6 with Exynos soc
Our version on European territory running Lollipop and it has SpeadTrum soc.
That's difference than J3 6 with MM and J3 6 with LL
Maybe Samsung push MM update but that's maximum from Samsung and we don't know when we get it or did we get it...
Only Samsung S models get latest major OS updates but only 2 on eg. S6 won't get Android O.
MM TW ROM is great but nothing better than AOSP Android :victory:
J3 6 is low budget phone so Samsung doesn't carry about them, important are S models because they cost 3X more that J3 6.
For now latest patch for J3 is 1 may 2017. we can wait for Samsung and he's TW MM ROM for J3 6, but I think that we get Nougat ROM for J3 6 before than Samsung Upgrade
J3 prime is only $50 and runs Nougat. Buy it off amazon if your to lazy to wait for Nougat on a J3

Where you got ROM for Samsung Galaxy j3 (2016) sn-j320F ??
Hi, I contacted Samsung several times that confirmed me the update to android 6. Yet my research on the internet seem to contradict that. So what is it really like?
Hello All,
Please I want to know the consequences of flashing the rom of another region on your Samsung device. Let me explain why I ask this
So recently I upgraded my Samsung j7 Pro (J730GM) to Android 8.1 Oreo and that update changed the binary version of my device to 5 (i.e. J730GMDXU5) so I tried downgrading the phone back to 7.0 but that did not work because Samsung has not released an Android 7.0 Nougat firmware with binary version 5 so downgrading the normal way was quite impossible.
Now I recently found out that Samsung has released an Android 7.0 Nougat firmware with binary version 5 but the region/country it was released for is Mexico while my phone's region is Thailand.
Now my question is, is it possible to downgrade my J7 Pro with the Mexico firmware although my device's region is Thailand because they are both binary version 5? If yes, what are the possible consequences?
I don't know if this is related, off-topic or not. But my brother had this problem after he updated to 9.0 pie update on a samsung j8 phone.
Here is my build number and baseband.
Baseband: J810YDXU2BSD2. Build Number: J810YDXU2BSD3
Country: Philippines, XTC.
I would like to know what firmware should I download to downgrade using flash odin.
:crying:
Hi , I think it will not be easy to downgrade from Android 9 to 8 but you can try with this one :

How to downgrade Android 9 Pie to Android 7.0 7.1 on Samsung Galaxy S3.
Thank you
You mean your samsung s3 runs androaid 9!!!!!!
this is crazy bro
Do you mean the Galaxy Tab S3?
If you got an S3 running Android 9 then holy **** you are some legend.
not possible!!!
How did you make it run Android 9 Pie?
If you can write a brief tutorial here, that would be great.
What do you all mean?
There's a whole bunch of Pie 9 on Samsung S3:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/development
(but they all have some issues)
What custom rom are you using to run Android 9?
the best ROM for the s3 I9300 is this one: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/development/rom-crdroid-v1-5-t3517684
runs Android 7.1.2 and lots of good features.
Hi, I'm sure you're speaking of custom ROMs so there's no problem for downgrade.
The only thing you've to do is data and cache wipe, otherwise your phone will go in bootloop.
