Im having an issue. With my tab s3. Yesterday i was updating magisk manager and after i did it stopped charging. I thought my charger came unplugged but it didnt. Now the only way i can charge it is to put it in twrp and let it charge. But its unresponsive when its powered on and when its off it just loops the charging screen. But wont charge. I jave tried to revert back to a previous back up but had no luck. I was plannig on flashing stock firmware when i get back to my computer.. but any input would be greatly appreciated..

Alright guys so for the second time ive woken up and my phone is completely dead despite being plugged in all night. it wont turn on and when i plug it in the orange light at the top blinks. i had to pull the battery let it sit put it back in and plug it in for a bit. still didnt work. repeated and finally got it to start up where it then said i had 1% battery. this has happened to me both on the stock charger and the one from my old droid 1. what the heck is going on? the port cant be broken if its charging now and i know its not the charger... this happened to me first right after i got it when i was still running stock not even rooted and now again 2 months later running das bamf 1.6.3. anyone else have this problem? do i need to buy a new battery? whats going on?
Maybe your battery is toast. Also, are you using the HTC charger that came with the phone? You could also try booting into Android recovery and wipe your phone, its possible your batterystats file got messed up, but I doubt it. When my batterystats file messed up, my phone died within an hour of zero usage. Just some things to try.

Your battery might be dead or something. Are you using the usb charger? If you are, try the ac one. Mine has problems in the ac.

like i said it happened on both the stock(htc) wall charger and the wall charger from my droid 1. i dont think its a problem with the battery because it happened two months apart and in between it was totally fine.
My Galaxy s2 has began to behave very strange. Even tho no charger is attached it beleves it is charging. I cleared the battery stats from clockworkmod recovery and the issue was solved until I plugged back my charger again. And I can't turn the phone off. If it turn it off it justs boots again. Any ideas?

My SII wont turn on. i tried everything from reseating the battery, charging overnight, holding vol down + power button but stilll nothing. please help.
I've had this problem happen to me once lasted a whole day fixed itself though after I decided to try hooking it up to my car charger. Battery wasn't dead either just a weird bug I guess. Forgot what rom I was on but I dont use it anymore anyway.
It happened to me when i was running unnamed i tried odin it didnt work but i just called att and got another one

Its been 2 days since it has been dead. but still nothing.
U gave no one any useful information to help resolve the issue. What ROM were u using. What kernel. Stock charging cable? Stock or aftermarket battery? What were u doing when this occurred? Did u let it die and then try to charge it or did it stop working while charging?

Have you removed the battery first?
Mine turns on just fine w/o the battery installed but won't work the other way around
Not sure what happened and why happened. But all of a sudden the phone turned on and started to work after being dead for 2 days. Its all good now.

so the other day I tried to plug my phone in to charge it but instead of charging the phone told me to use the proper charger. it wasnt the original charger but one I had used plenty of times before.. so I tried me car charger (from Verizon for the DNA) and still nothing. I rebooted the phone and tried again and it worked so i stopped worrying about it. that was a couple days ago and I had the problem a few more times since then. Now if I plug it in it either does nothing or goes into car mode.. and still wont charge.
This seems like a hardware issue to me but I was just checking if anyone had any input..
for the record I am Rooted and on ViperDNA with S-Off... and I did not flash anything anytime around when it stopped working.
Try using the oem charger.

I have. sorry I should have mentioned that in my post.
The non-oem charger I had used is an extra one I keep at work. I have the same problem with the OEM one I have at home. It doesn't seem to matter what charger I use (OEM, non-OEM, Car) the only thing I haven't tried is a wireless charging pad but I don't have one.
From what I can tell the phone seems to think it is being plugged into a dock anytime I plug my charger in but it is kind of "intermittent" it will sometimes just switch over to dock mode without me even touching it.. and when it does it stops charging.

go into recovery and try a wipe cache and dalvik if that dont help adb pull all you want off the phone and factory reset and then if that fixes it adb push your data back onto it and see if issue stays or goes
Ok, I'll explain this as much as I can.
I have GT-I9300, stock, debloated, stock kernel, just rooted +greenified.
My issue is that whenever I charge my phone when it's ON it goes to 100% with no problems,
The issue is, when I turn it OFF and plug the charger in it just has about 90% in it.
Note: when its onit goes to a hundred %.
I know it's weird, am I the only one experiencing this? How do I fix it?
I tried using a different cable and charger that works well with another phone but issue is still there.

Sounds very strange to me, I would take it back to the place where you bought it... maybe in warranty?
First flash back to full stock firmware then factory reset before testing.
