as I understand it, duracell has the PMA sort of wireless charging and I read on some website that LG V30 supports PMA and Qi.
While my phone charges fine on the Qi wireless charger, I can't make it work on a Duracell Powermat (designed for the Samsung S3)
Has anyone managed to charge their V30 on a duracell powermat please?
update: this is the website which made me believe that powermat will work on V30

I've got a D850 with a quickcircle case from a D855 that includes the wireless charging pins - I bought a cheap (really cheap) wireless charger from Amazon and it doesn't work.
I read somewhere that the D850 uses PMA and the D855 uses QI charging if there's any differences?
Are the D850 and D855 THAT different?
Any one else having issues charging there Duraforce with a Qi wireless charger.
in setting/battery is says align the logo with the charging pad, tried every position but there's no charging.
case is removed from the phone, my other phone has no issues it charges as soon as phone touches the pad.
recently purchased the Qi pad never tested the phone with old software
phones been updated to lollipop .
Kyocera Duraforce Pro wireless charging standard
After reading that the Duraforce Pro supports "both" the Qi and PMA wireless charging standards, I bought a Qi charger and my Duraforce Pro failed to recognize it at all. The charger tested out fine on other phones including my wife's Galaxy S8.
Hope that my wasting of a couple days resolving this will help others BEFORE they buy their charger.
What I finally learned from a Kyocera rep is that there are four, carrier specific, versions of the Duraforce Pro (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile). The Duraforce Pro for Verizon uses the Qi standard, and the other 3 use PMA.
Wireless charger
I use one of the wireless chargers that Samsung makes. It was one of those round ones that I bought from AT&T. I never had a problem with it charging my phone until I broke the charger.
I bought an LG V30 and part of the selling point was that it supported wireless charging, however, I have been unable to charge the phone on my 2017 GMC Sierra's wireless charging pad.....hopefully, someone here has experienced similar problems.......Thank Youhttps://forum-lw-1.xda-cdn.com/images/smilies/mad.gif

According to http://www.gmc.com/gmc-life/technology/how-gmcs-wireless-charging-works.html, it does support Qi standard, so it should work.
If it works with iphone X, then it works with V30
Have you tried it without any case on it?
I have a LG Stylo 3 plus (LGMP450) MetroPCS is Carrier.
I want to get wireless charging. I bought one adapter off Amazon by QI. The micro usb on the wireless charging receiver was to big for my phone.
So, I am looking for suggestions or guidance on where to buy the proper one.
