Hi,
is there any way to disable the inbuild mouseacceleration in android when youre using a mouse via OTG?
The only thing that android provides via strock is changing the "pointerspeed" in the inputoptions but this is not the acceleration option Im looking for.
What mouse acceleration does is adjusting the mousespeed automaticly depending on how fast or slow yopu move the mouse. Means if you move the mouse faster it will make it even more faster if you move it very slow it will make it even slower. I want to get rid of that to get true 1x1 feeling like on windows or linux.
this is how the equivalent ooption looks in windows:

On X11 systems you can change it in this file: gedit /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/90-mouse.conf
Section "InputClass"
Identifier "mouse"
MatchIsPointer "on"
Option "AccelerationProfile" "-1"
Option "AccelerationScheme" "none"

I felt like trying some alpha blending OpenGLES, and wanted to see how much better things like this work on different devices...
So, you can now play SpinTheBottle on your windows phone!

You can change the bottle image by changing bottle.bmp in the install folder for any ARGB bitmap (it may have odd colours if it's in a different format), so long as it's a power of two by a power of two in pixels, e.g. 256x512.
It might be slightly juddery, and that might be my fault for having crap code... (it might be your device though!)
To exit, press and hold and then let go...

works great!
How does it work? What are the controls?
how do you change the background? I saw in YouTube, they had a background set in this app
today, a mayor update for touchpal has been released (v4 -> v5). i like the new look, but the keyboard has lost a key function: it was possible in v4 to hold on a letter and drag it down to write the secondary function.
e.g.: hold "h" and drag it down -> "&".
it was also possible to edit the secondary functions. v5 doesn't allow me to do this.
does anybody know an alternative app? reply please!
(for now, i still use v4, downloadable HERE.

i use "ultra keyboard" (paid app) now. it has lots of settings, i enabled gestures and increased the gesture sensitivity. now it does pretty much what i want it to.
didn't find out how to edit secondary functions, though.
does anybody know if&how this is possible?

Ive searched the web for how to change mac address on s3, it appears to be challenging. The screenshot shows one of the ways to do it, but it is neither quick or convenient, because it refreshes the mac everytime you turn off wifi and the connection is really slow, unusable.
(Higher quality image than posted below, not full though)

But the guy answering the posts says he's got a long lasting fix...but it looks like it requires recompiling drivers or stuff....what if i wanted to just change the mac without a completely permanent fix, but still a complete 100% mac change method? Anybody know how?

This icon appears whenever my data allowance has been used up. My network who are usually useful with things like this were otherwise on this occasion.
My phone is rooted with CM and terminal editor. Although I've not well versed in terminal editor I can follow instructions, like adding read/write to the system folder so I could delete system apps.
Any help in the matter is greatly appreciated.

Not sure entirely which app controls that, but you can find out by long pressing on the notification drawer then choosing App Info - should have the option to uncheck notifications. Unless it's system app that doesn't have that option. Then you could look into using the Xposed Framework and something like this: http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.defim.apk.notifyclean
My daughter has a Moto G7 running Android 10 at college and needs to disable MAC Randomization for her wireless profile in order to connect. However, the option in the profile settings to use the device mac is completely missing. I am working with Motorola support, but they are currently telling me that they are "working with campus IT" which I don't expect to help at all. I was able to use a dialer code to bring up the wifi settings and it absolutely shows macrandomization=1.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to change that setting? I really don't want to root the phone since it goofs up many of the apps she uses and she has been using her laptop for a hotspot. But it's crazy frustrating that it would probably be just fine if I could edit the settings file to change that value.
