Hi, I have 2 devices with MIUI 10; Redmi Note 4 (Android 7) and Xiaomi Mi8 (Android 9). Unfortunately there is the same problem on both. When someone is calling to me I can hear the ringtone but the screen has too low brightness to see anything (unless there is a night ). After 3-4 seconds the screen brightens up to the normal level. This is really frustrating.

Hey devs and users,
I have noticed that the HDR on MIUI 10 is no longer the quality it used to be on MIUI 9.
Yes it appeared to be washed out but the brightness got full and I could see the shadows with the oversaturation removed that appeared on non-HDR screens.
But I can no longer see the shadows in HDR videos on MIUI 10 neither does the brightness go max and the screen gets blue-ish and stays oversaturated.
So is this a bug or just me?
I loved the HDR on MIUI 9, the highs and lows of exposure were perfectly viewable, no longer on MIUI 10.
Hello guys, last week i converted my Xiaomi mi A2 to 6X to use MIUI.
So, i notice the brightness is stuck and don't make difference if it is on 20% or 100%, the bright in the screen is the same, and this is bad cause it's too low to see outside.
Can someone help me to fix this?
I try change the Rom, but don't works, already tried Miui.eu, Miui globe and Revolution OS. All the same Bug.
Ps: If you thinks it's hardware I has to tell you the brightness in the TWRP and boot screen is normal. AND, when I oppen certain apps like galery or youtube the brightness increase to normal for a second.
I recorded a video with te problem but can't post links yet.
Hi. There's a timelapse program that is abandoned by dev and it doesn't have replacement in terms of settings and functionality. It doesn't work on Android 9 when screen is off. But it have to be used with screen off because it records video in long period of time. Android unloads it or stops.
Is there a way to lock this program from being stopped by Android? I tried settings of background activity and power saving, they don't affect anything. Keeping screen on is not a solution.
OnePlus 5t, Oxygen 9 (Android 9).
On the new GTR3 it is possible to program the display to be switched on by wrist movement only during daylight hours, so at night it does not turn on the display ? I have already activated the do not disturb but only limits the vibration when the notifications arrive but not the switching on of the display.
Thanks for the help
