Picked up my s6 edge (gold) 64gb version from a reliance digital store here in India on the release day, April 10th. Immediately got a 250 odd mb of update n even did that! But there seems to be a problem with the RGB notification led on the top! All the colors seem to appear well except for white! It appears like a light blue/purple colored light! Anybody else has this problem? Or do any of u have a fix for this "glitch". Or should I get the hardware replaced?

Thats exactly the same thing which i noticed so far. Im not pretty sure but i will check it tomorrow:
When i got my hands on the gs6 edge and gs6 both next to each other before the release (maybe pre-production models) i compared both devices with the result, that the gs6 edge had the MUCH better whitepoint. Well it was a bit blueish, but on these both devices the general gs6 had a much greyer white tone.
But right now after i receaved my gs6 edge, the first thing i was noticing was, that it had a very bad whitepoint, almost like a sand tone. I directly went to the next electro market and compared my gs6 edge to the general gs6 shown there with the result, that my gs6 edge had the worser white point, so the opposite of the result on the pre production models.
And thats the same with all the youtube videos. On those youtube videos who had the chance to test the devices before the release, the gs6 edge had a better white, and on those videos with the devices after release it was the gs6 with the better white.
So its pretty weard, because im not sure if this is hardwarewise or softwarewise. ( BTW all my comparisons were with the same AMOLED CINEMA setting and same brightness.)

I haven't really seen much feedback from others regarding this problem and I am quite surprised to be honest. I've ordered my s6 edge 2 weeks ago and have been using it for a week without noticing anything.
I've read through some article a few days ago before going to sleep and noticed a terrible pink hue in the bottom half of the screen. I didn't see the problem when I was using the phone in daylight and with the brightness quite high.
So I've ordered a replacement straight away, which came in yesterday.
The screen which I got on the replacement is completely pink, its even worse than the one I already had. Now I was wondering if I just got so unlucky, but I've had 2 friends at work compare their screens to mine (one of them have the regular s6, the other has an edge) and they the exact same issue as mee, although the pink hue is near the top in the s6.
This is a dealbreaker for a phone this expensive in my opinion... If you don't see it thats fine, but once you notice it it gets really annoying.

The note 4's screen is basically the same resolution and technology and its flawless. I don't know if this is some kind of manufacturing or quality control problem but I think samsung should sort it out.
The version I've got is the s6 edge gold platinum with 32 gb of memory. I would like you guys to take a lok at your screen and let me know if you got the same thing.
The best way to do so is to set it to a decent brightness level, screen mode to go for is "basic" and look at it in the dark, on a plain white background or with some text like I did.

Back when the phone was first released (April), there was plenty of discussion on this. It is a quality control issue.

I've preordered M10Pro, expecting delivery middle of this months but am still wondering if I've made a right decision. I have never used a phone with amoled as my daily driver. I drive a car quite a bit, using google maps for around 1h daily plus every 1-2 weeks for at least 5-6 hours a single day. Additionally I am pretty used to now using AOD (LG G6), it's not clear if AOD on M10Pro is changing its position in order to prevent burn in so these to plus navigation bar drives my crazy when I think I could spend considerable amount of money on a phone which will get burn in after a few months.
Unfortunately regular M10 won't be available on my market and I do not want to order outside as I am used to having my devices covered by 24 months guarantee.
What are your experiences with amoled? What are you feeling when it comes to burn-in and M10Pro? Should I be even bothered?

i choose the Mate 10 6+128GB!
I know that for some of you there may be an option to choose between 10 and 10pro but for me, when I want to have a full guarantee locally options are -to buy 10 pro with amoled or to buy from competition which does not have amoled, so basically htc, which to me is not a real alternative
As per android central review on YouTube out today, after "several weeks" of usage he had no burn in issue for the Mate10 pro.

Will watch it straight away. Hope it clears all my doubts.
It will burn in eventually. It's a reality with AMOLED. May be sooner, may be later, as each screen is different but it will happen. This is why I really try to avoid AMOLED. I prefer peace of mind over a more saturated screen.
Not to mention I've never heard of the company supplying Huawei with their AMOLED screens. If I have to get one, it'd probably be a Samsung.
Not sure why LCD has so much hate. It's perfect on my Mate 10 and with HDR videos it's stunning. No worries about burn in too.

Don't worry they will know as soon as they get a burn in screen, I learned from it on my S8 for 2 months only burn in grrrr

I have seen the AOD on the Mate 10 pro in different locations, so i understand it will be moving about.
And navigation is not static, so maybe it won't be an issue ?
Everyone is going oled whether its LG, Apple, Pixel 2 and OnePlus. And there is that BOE manufacturer ready to bring out their oled as well and so will be seeing oleds even more. Apple and others know that oled is prone to burn in and yet saw it as fit to use on their important iphone x, which means the probability is low and depends on a certain harsh usage.
If Huawei covers warranty for a burn in it would be reassuring though. Personally, i don't use my phone in max brightness and prolonged periods with a static image. And i use the auto brightness most of the time. I haven't had a problem with my oled on the P9 plus after 1.5 years of usage.
Every big player will get Amoleds to their phone....
Why? Because of money and bussiness....
Why to make a perfect phone that will last for 3 years without a problem.
They need more to sell...... I would buy a mate 10 pro if there would be a ips display.... oled no....
I had a lcd once, on a sony : I hated it. I always had oled screens, and never had any burn-in problem (I keep my phones for 2 years usually) and I also use google map a lot>
I have now had my Mate 10 Pro for about 2 months and i am absolutly loving it.
I can confirm that the AOD is moving around, so nothing to worry about there, and the screen itself is stunnig to look at.
Will i get burn-in over time? I don't know. But i really like the screen and the pictures it creates.

Blotchy Black
Hi!
Is anybody experiencing a blotchy screen when you render plain black images? I noticed this in my stock gallery app, Netflix, and video player. It is noticeable in a very dark room. It bothers me since I know that when an OLED panel renders black color it turns off so no light is emitted. But in this case I see a blotchy black.
This "sooner or later", burn in is not how it works. I have a Galaxy S3 and a Note4 with zero burn in, even though I used both heavily for years. (Even for GPS, etc.),
The content matters. Like my sister had an S4 and it had Facebook Messenger burnt into the screen because she was chatting for so many hours.
And after she gave the phone to me just a few months back so I can sell it, the burn in went away after mixed use.
Tl;Dr: Burn in is more of a meme, it's more like retention. I mean the Mate10 Pro has on screen buttons but that's not a 100% chance that it will burn in.
Send it back and get a new one from Amazon. I saw this problem with the camera in white or clears walls. It seems "banding".
I acquired a second hand Mate 10 Pro 3 weeks ago (first owner bought it on the 24th of November), it already had burn-in zones: navigation dock button, Google Search, bottom system buttons bar and many other ones from various apps' icons... These zones are mostly noticeable on clear or white screen/pages (eg: about:blank URL in Chrome browser). At reception, I immediately selected a black theme and activated Battery's dark mode. Now I can see my own apps setup marking the screen... After only 3 weeks...
Am I the only one ?
I'm contacting Huawei customer service.
I finally went to Paris' Huawei customer care center. They told me they never saw/heard about such issue, hard to believe.
They kept my phone 24h and they replaced the full front part (including battery): they only keep the motherboard (can't say if it includes cameras' parts too).
They ensured me waterproofing should be the same. 200 meters after I left the building, I noticed a huge gap where the back plate should stick to the phone's body. So long for waterproofing I suppose.
I immediately went back, and in 10min they replaced the back cover for a brand new one; things are better, but after throrough look, I can see back cover is not perfectly glued... But hey, I have an almost brand new device now.
I took time to compare the demo devices they have, and the Mate 10 Pro had a burned-in screen too, quickly noticeable thanks to Chrome's about:blank URL
So I'm at my sixth S9+ right now... yes, the sixth. I have never believed that such a small device can drive me so crazy. The funny thing is that I haven't seen anyone talking about the issues that I have been facing. So I might be crazy after all.
Ever since the original Samsung Galaxy S I9000 released I've been using Samsung phones with AMOLED screens. The I9000 was followed by an S4. After that I bought myself an S7 Edge. Up to this point I've always been super happy with my devices. Most of all I enjoyed the displays. I swore on AMOLED and would never look back and use an IPS.
AMOLED has always had two donwsides for me, though - low brigthness and warmer whites compared to an IPS. Over the years I learned to live with both of those. If I put my S7 Edge next to an IPS screen I'd immediately notice the warmer whites and the dimmer display but if there was nothing to compare it to my eyes callibrated and the whites and the brigthness were perfect - at least to my own perception.
So I saw those S9+ advertisements. They were advertising a brighter screen than the S8 which was already brighter than my S7 Edge (actually turned out that the S9+ in manual mode is dimmer than not only the S8 and the S7 Edge but even the S4 but that's a different topic). The whites on this phone also appeared to be much more cooler and IPS-like compared to my S7 Edge. This combined with the camera, the taller screen, virtual buttons and all the other cool features was an instant sell for me. I preordered on day one.
First phone: I had purchased it directly from my carrier. Had to resign my contract for another 24 months with them but when I finally got the phone it felt like it was totally worth it. Until I finally set it up and actually placed it horizontally on the bed - I could see nothing. The viewing angles were worse than they were on my TN panel monitor years ago. Everything was blue. I quickly googled it and learned it was called "blue shift" and was really common with the initial batches of the Pixel 2 XL. Well... in comparison to all those Pixel phones I saw on various photos and videos - mine was worse than all of them. I quickly snapped some photos of the display and returned to the store. It was a tough process because my carrier doesn't usually accept returns so I had to contact Samsung for help directly. They eventually sent me a new one.
Second phone : Checked it in the store to see how it looked at an angle and it shifted only ever so slightly blue. Compared it to the various demo devices there and realized that was actually the norm. It didn't bother me at all this time so I accepted it. When I got away from the bright lights in the store and sat on my bed late in the evening with no lamps on I noticed that the pure whites I had bought this phone for are now warmer than on my old S7 Edge - everything appeared yellowish. My eyes started to get used to the yellow tint and I started to finally perceive the whites as proper whites until I realized that every single small tilt of the device (as small as 10-20 degrees) resulted in a red shift before the slight blue one. For some weird reason, this red hue decalibrated my eyes and when I returned the device to its original position I saw the whites yellowish all over again. And due to it happening at such small angles it basically happened every 10 seconds or so, especially when using the phone with one hand. It was absolutely unbearable and I went back to the store and literally begged them to give me my first device back. Apparently this was not posssible and they also refused to aknowledge this as an issue eligible for a return. Samsung, on the other hand, refused to cooperate a second time. I was forced to sell it, fortunately at not that big of a loss.
Third phone: Now this one was bought from an online retailer so I could have a 14-day return window if I got a screen like my last one. The phone finally arrived and the screen was perfect - no yellow tint, no red shift, no extreme blue shift. Joke's on me, though - they had sent me the wrong phone - I had ordered the dual sim variant and they mistakenly sent me a single sim one. So I sent it back.
Fourth phone: Got my next one - this time a proper DUOS. Funny thing, though - it was just like my second one - the one I sold. Whites were a bit less yellow this time but the constant red shifts at really small angles totally decalibrated my eyes and I couldn't perceive white as actual white for 5 seconds straight. That drove me nuts. I made use of the 14-day return period and asked them to send me another one.
Fifth phone: Oh god, this phone was perfect. Even better than the third one. Perfect whites, no stupid red shift, blue shift was at extreme angles only and even then it was very light - I've never been more satisfied with a display. I used it for 4 days straight - it was a pleasure, really. Until I noticed that there was a dead pixel right in the middle of the damn screen. Only one... out of millions. But once I saw it I could literally not unsee it... ever. I sent it back, they acknowledged the defect, and because it was brand new they sent me yet another one.
Sixth phone: So my current phone, the sixth one, is basically like the fourth and the second ones. I'm now literally where I started. After about $50 lost from the sale of my second phone, after another $50 spent on transport fees and after 2 months without a phone, I got literally the same goddamn phone. Maybe it's not as yellow as the second one but the goddamn red shift makes it appear yellow to me each and every single time I tilt the device ever so slightly. And by the time I finally start getting accustomed to the white colour temperature I accidentally tilt it again.
As I was browsing around the forums yesterday to find out whether someone else experienced similar issues I bumped into the Black Crush thread and when I checked for it it turns out I have it too and it makes not only whites unbearable to look at but apparently different shades of black next to each other as well. After going through so many phones I'm not even sure whether any of them had it as well or it's just that one. In the meantime, while checking for Black Crush in a dark room I noticed that my light from the screen is reflecting in the curved glass and leaking from all sides and the phone basically looks like a Christmas tree in a dark environment. I'm not sure whether any of the previous devices exhibited that either. My S7 Edge aso had a curved screen, even more so, and was definitely not like that. After reading about this, however, it turns out that 80% of the people have it as well. To be honest, the light leak and the black crush are bothering me not nearly as much as the yellow tint and the red shift.
Yes, I'm using Adaptive Mode and no, I'm not using Blue Light filter, nor do I use a 3rd party app that's triggering the in-built in Android Night Light filter. Tweaking with the software calibration is also out of the question because 80% of my phone usage is actually watching YouTube and I can't do it without the Video Enhancer on. And the Video Enhancer overrides all display settings turning the whites into their facotry-callibrated variant.
If anyone is wondering why the hell did I wrote this huge wall of text. Well... there are two reasons. First and foremost, I just wanted to complain about Samsung's absolutely ridiculous QA this year - displays on near $1000 phones shouldn't have such issues nor should they vary as much. Second of all, I wanted to just get this out of my system as I'm not sure what to do anymore. I might be able to get the retailer to return my money after all as I think I might still have another 14 days to do that after the last device but the problem is that, as I was really sick of dealing with this BS and bothering them with it, when the device arrived I told them over the phone that this time it was perfect and everything was fine. Now I've been using it for almost a week, I've taken all of the wraps off and they've reissued all the documents already. I'd hate to be the douche that returns yet another phone, even after already confirming that it's perfect. And finally, I wanted to ask if any of you has observed at least one of those issues or I'm just bat**** crazy. Thank you for reading!

I just think you're super picky and I'm not. I bought the phone and it's nicer quality than my LG V20. Done.
I initially didn't like the curved glass and the rounded corners. But that nothing to do with the display quality.

If anyone is wondering why the hell did I wrote this huge wall of text. Well... there are two reasons. First and foremost, I just wanted to complain about Samsung's absolutely ridiculous QA this year - displays on near $1000 phones shouldn't have such issues nor should they vary as much. Second of all, I wanted to just get this out of my system as I'm not sure what to do anymore. I might be able to get the retailer to return my money after all as I think I might still have another 14 days to do that after the last device but the problem is that, as I was really sick of dealing with this BS and bothering them with it, when the device arrived I told them over the phone that this time it was perfect and everything was fine. Now I've been using it for almost a week, I've taken all of the wraps off and they've reissued all the documents already. I'd hate to be the douche that returns yet another phone, even after already confirming that it's perfect. And finally, I wanted to ask if any of you has observed at least one of those issues or I'm just bat**** crazy. Thank you for reading!

i am on same boat with you so i fully understand your upset. I am having here S8+ plus running nougat and S9+ running Oreo. When I watching youtube and each devices and video enhancer kicks in, the white point on S8+ much better than S9+ (so yellow). Samsung did change white value of video enhancer on Oreo make the screen yellowish. Both device are in adaptive mode with red and green at its minimum. Comparing the white point when doing web browsing, I have to say they are all the same kind of screen (same brightness nits at manual max, not much pure white like iphone screen). I hate how samsung did lied to me about 20% brighter screen on s9+. so ****ing tricky advertisement

I also have the LG V20 and I have to say V20 has better screen color and brightness even though its resolution and sharpness is not good at S9+
so did you ever manage to get it fixed? did you go for the 7th device?
Hello members. Is been pass for when Google Pixel 7/7 Pro was released. New phones come out new hype, impressions. This is like every year but interesting to see how people reacts and what think. I'm maybe to old for this but for last few years I keep devices for longer time. Before Google 7 Pro, I used Note 20 Ultra. I was happy with it. But I prefer clean Android and Google features, this is why I switched to Pixel (I'll not switch and I'm not interested for longer time now). So I have questions for you. Who switched to Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra from Pixel 7/7 Pro or oposite from S23 Ultra to Pixel 7 Pro think. Or switched from diferent device, brand phone.
My Pixel 7 Pro has some sort of motherboard or power issue that keeps frying screens. I am on my second Pixel 7 Pro screen replacement and the third is starting to show similar pulsing of brightness and flickering symptoms. I have an S23 Ultra on order for pick up on Friday at my local Best Buy and I can't wait.
I also can't wait to have a modem that's actually worth a damn and more than 24 hours of battery life when I don't use my phone heavily.
I changed my pixel 7 pro for the ultra and I got it yesterday. The pixel 7 pro is a good phone for regular use with a great camera, it's snappy and very fluid and some decent performance while gaming. Battery wasn't that solid. I used it for the past three months since it came out. Since receiving my ultra S23 i can say just WOW. This device is a beast. Camera zoom is incredible even tho the colors are saturated that can be fixed after with may photo app, even Googles own photo app with just auto fix can do the trick. Battery wise it's a tank and the feel of the device is heavy compared to the pixel 7 pro but feel and solid. Software wise is like pixel os or stock android on steroids i really like the widget stacking and other minor things. From the time I got till today I can say that so far it's a Greta super snappy very good camera dm battery beast device. Definitely an upgrade from the pixel 7 pro. Once you change most things to Google like keyboard and all the other things you won't really miss the other device. I would rate it a 9.5/10 and the pixel 7 pro 8/10
Just a quick screen shot of the battery life with just one cycle. That's with one hour of video call, toms of video and web browser, VPN and not battery optimization just plain stock.
I own Pixel 7 Pro. Now waiting for my S23 Ultra to arrived on 24th February.
Am not switching tho. I gonna retire my Aquos R6.
Plan to use my S23 Ultra in stock configuration, locked bootloader, no root. I just gonna debloat using Brevent, blocking ads using private DNS, and managing permissions & net acess using AppOps & Netguard. I still hate Samsung for all features that got nerfed/disabled once you unlock your bootloader. But then, nowadays, it's hard to find brand who release decent phone with 1TB configuration (Apple OS sucks, Xperia price isn't worth it's features & specs. There's Nubia, but it lean heavily towards gamer's need while i prefer a better camera)
So, Pixel 7 Pro for all the mods. And S23 Ultra for Banking (zero headache without root) & Multimedia center.
A bit off topic but I switched from the P6P Google to the S23 U. I say wow about performance Camera and overall the S Pen and so on. Yes the switch was a good choice for me

Interesting. Just dropped my P7P off at ubreakifix for same issue. they told me they have been seeing lots of this. also happened to order an S23U right after. I will still keep the P7P for my daily though, assuming it stays functioning.
Not really switching as I'm doing like others here have mentioned. I have a green S23 Ultra due to arrive sometime early this week (whenever UPS updates the "label created" status. Should be a fun phone.
Nothing wrong with my Pixel 7 Pro. Probably the one of these least problematic phones I've owned and ranks up there with the Pixel 2xl and the Nexus 5 as my fav Google phones.
Anyhow, I'm using the P7P to have fun with Android 14 DP and betas. Will swap back and forth between it and the S23 Ultra until I swap the P7P for the Pixel Fold or P8P.
Though the Ultra will be the primary, nothing was wrong with the Pixel 7 Pro. I just like have the latest and greatest.

It's gotta be a motherboard or power delivery issue that's shorting the display and slowly killing it because I baby my phones and yet I'm not too sure my screen is going to last until Friday and I just got it like 2 weeks ago. They replaced my first one with a second one and it started acting up two days later. Replaced that one and it's lasted a few weeks but uhh... how many replacements am I going to have to get? Google doesn't have a lemon policy where they say they'll replace the device after so many fails at repairing it but uBreakiFix is going to object for sure because the second screen they replaced was with their own warranty for the repair, not Google footing the bill, as they assumed they just gave me a bad screen and it took me two days to notice.
If you check this thread, you and I are far from alone.

well he did say he was seeing it a lot. I kind of doubted him, but not so sure now. Im not in a large metro area and pixels arent very popular so if its in large numbers its pretty bad. I went rounds with them trying to get the to just replace the phone as they had done for me in the past, though to be honest I have rarely had any problem, but they were having none of it this time. mine was acting up, lasted about a week when I first noticed and contacted google, then yesterday it went kaput, and took it in. They didnt have a screen, but should be done by tuesday. well see how long it lasts I guess.

Probably the displays. Since implementation of variable refresh rate displays the failure rate seems to have escalated across the board.
Maybe badly coded firmware blowing out drivers in your case. Maybe a design or manufacturing flaw or a hot spot in the phone burning out the drivers. Google should owe up to it instead of whistling through their graveyard.
This is one of the reasons I didn't upgrade from the N10+. I also leave the firmware alone as it runs flawlessly as is. Well over 8k hours on this display, still perfect.
Lots of issues with the Samsung variable refresh rate displays on all their latter flagship models. Also a fair amount of display issues on their early fixed rate AMOLEDs. Whether they are user, hardware, firmware or induced by a combination of factors is unknown. As is the mean display lifetimes of various models. Display roulette
It should also be noted that OLEDs and AMOLEDs displays are completely incompatible with water. How well the OLEDs are or aren't encapsulated effects their lifespan and failure rate. Keep phones away from water and avoid water exposure regardless of the ip rating. High G loading from impacts or direct impacts can damage them; always use a good case. Battery swelling from a failure is another way they can be damaged. Overheating from direct sunlight exposure.

I've had no issues with any other OLED panel going all the way back to my S-AMOLED Samsung Captivate (first generation Galaxy S for AT&T). That means... Captivate, S3, S4, Note5, iPhone 12 Pro Max, Pixel 3 XL, OnePlus 9... Probably missing one or two in there. I turn off variable refresh because it annoys me so that theoretically should make my display less prone to failure but here we are. I mean the Pixel came out in October... Those other devices were kept a year give or take (12 Pro Max was two years old before I traded it for the Pixel 7 Pro).
I've never even had OLED burn in because I don't use auto brightness, I manually adjust. I take pretty good care of my phones.

OP seems to have a good display track record. iPhones I don't really track at all. I track Samsung's now as a matter of morbid curiosity as their flagships continue disappoint me. The N9 was ok but under powered. Samsung has always been hit or miss. Expandable storage would at least show up after being skipped for one generation. I always blew off models without it for the last 7 years... that will not change. As far as tech support Samsung's is poor. A true pain to deal with.
I have 2 N10+'S, my first AMOLED displays, zero issues. I always use manual brightness control and rarely go beyond 50% and then measured in seconds rather then minutes. Always use dark mode as well with no status bar icons.
Some user's insist on running brightness at or near 100% even indoors. Some don't use cases or use ones with inadequate protection.
What could go wrong?
I love Samsung S22/23 Ultra design. By far most beautiful phone design. But I'd say Google Pixel 7/7 Pro is so damn beautiful and original. Something different from other devices. If you put on the desk with iPhone, Samsung it will looks amazing. I'm happy with Google Pixel 7 Pro and it just works. Yes some will say performance isn't good as Samsung, iPhone or other. I don't care about it, but I really enjoy Pixel features. Samsung has best spam call blocking (Hiya), but Screen call is so well done I use most every time if unknown number calling. Did anyone looked how much system takes of storage out of the box. Interesting 65Gb. It is too much. Google use about 16Gb. Not the best but 4 times less. After all I'm too old for switching devices every year or more then once per year. So I'll use Pixel 7 Pro two or three years.

They don't actually. Every single one of their devices going back to at least the 8 Pro has numerous reports of green lines in the screen *and* OnePlus claiming it was dropped and refusing to fix it despite no other obvious damage to the device.

I use mine around 10-30% most of the time. I don't abuse my displays.

A slight upgrade over the S22U. Same clunky, heavy design with plenty of room for expandable storage. Samsung has failed to bring any real innovation for years now, just adding teasers.
They did considerably clean up the S23U chassis internally though. Much cleaner, too bad it's offset by other poor design choices.

That's what Google wants. However eventually if they don't rock it, somebody will. Samsung's flagship phones sales are suffering. Alienating their flagship power users isn't helping their cause.
My expected service life for my N10+'s is 3+ more years. No sweat as they continue to fullfill their mission and save me time and money. My 4G data plan is grandfathered and with 5G being used more now my bandwidth has increased. Cheap, battery friendly and more than enough bandwidth.
The N10+ is just a better balanced phone with a better form factor and display/bezel ratios than any of its successors. It has a better matched performance to available heat sink ratio and the same, often better battery life while weighing 30gms less. Samsung has failed to make their newer flagships effectively more efficient and just keeps slamming in bigger batteries to compensate. Unfortunately the heat sinking area/capacity hasn't increase to keep up with the higher thermal loads. Google Android has damaged functionality and efficiency with its scoped storage... no such thing on Android 9 and 10. By using the N10+'s I avoid the more undesirable Android versions simply by not upgrading/updating. Security simply isn't an issue in actual usage.
Such is the curse of Samsung's ineptness. As a pragmatist I didn't hesitate in exploiting this opportunity by buying a second new discounted N10+... and denting Samsung's pride futher. A stone cold pleasure. It may not be a good plan for some users but it serves me well. If I had to buy a flagship today it still be a new N10+ snap running on Q. Path of least resistance/maximum reward.
I have both. S23 Ultra is great, but Pixel 7 Pro is my daily driver. Photos are amazing.
Not happy that the firmware for the Ultra is over 10 GBs now to flash files. Compared with Googles 2 GB Files.
So I have pixel 7 pro and was thing to switch to U23 ultra, I was leave Samsung 7 years ago when was last note 4 so is little long time.
Right now not sur ei still have mixed feelings.
Pixel has smaller screen zoom about 10%-15% smaller also letter is well.
That big screen and waste it with bigger letters and icons.
Also I can't change samsung pass to Google password manager.
Display on pixel on my eyes looks more luxury then Samsung. But that is just my feeling.
Yes few thing what is issue on pixel there on U23U is work fabulous.
Big plus is battery pixel 7 pro I got around 8h+ on display U23U looks come around 12h+ that I'm impressed.
Also I love it quick setting widgets in pixel and looks without root is not possible to install on Samsung.
So yes also I love design S23U normal corner not kurve to much and spen Thst amazing plus.
So in my case not sure yet if will replace pixel 7 pro or not. All have pro and cons
I switched but I'm a little torn. I love all the little things the Pixel does right. The call screening, voice recognition, lack of bloat....but I needy screen mirroring, texts on my motorcycle (that the pixel never got right) and superior multitasking. I must say the battery life is on another level too but I was fine with it on the pixel. The cameras were fine too.
I switched from 7 Pro because this phone doesn't work in most of the World. In country I stay the most, it didn't have 5G, VoLTE and VoWiFi.
