Greetings,
I am planning to get a pocophone f1 and install lineageos 16 stable. Questions are:
1. Will it be possible to revert to the stock rom (to prove warranty or if i were to return it)?
2. How do you revert?
3. Is there a flashing tool for doing it?
4. Anyone done it?
Kind regards
1. Will it be possible to revert to the stock rom (to prove warranty or if i were to return it)? Yes
2. How do you revert? Use Mi Flash Tool and fastboot ROM
3. Is there a flashing tool for doing it? http://en.miui.com/a-234.html
4. Anyone done it? Many times, if you don't want to lock bootloader while doing it, don't choose clean all and lock
Cheers!!!
Thanks for answer.
I've found that to flash lineageos you need to flash a pie vendor. wondering in case of a revert, whether you need to flash stock vendor. I guess it gets flashed if I use flashtool and flash fastboot rom, correct?
secondly, if i relock bootloader, to reunlock, do i need to repeat same process as first time unlocking? or is it just a "fastboot oem unlock" command?
thirdly, should I be worried about xiaomi "anti rollback" feature? will it just prevent downgrade?

Yes, the tool would take care of it.

Same process as before, fastboot command doesn't work on Poco.
thirdly, should I be worried about xiaomi "anti rollback" feature? will it just prevent downgrade?
No, there is no "anti rollback" for Poco

Ans1 , yes you can revert back anytime, manytimes (always take backup because Miui encrypts data partition and custom rom has to wipe it so chances are you will loose you data .... but last week i flashed MIUI 10.3.4 Global Stable from lineage and then flashed havoc. i didn't loose any data (used latest twrp and magisk19 beta)
Ans2. there are 3 ways, download recovery rom and simply flash it via twrp ( which is the most common), OR download fastboot rom and flash it via miflashtool (by putting fone in fastboot mode) BUT this way you will DELETE ALL THE DATA and there is one button on MIFLASH called "flash and LOCK" if you by accident didn't uncheck it, chances are your boot will be LOCKED, so becareful. ---- the third method is EDL but you will never use that, it involves putting fone in edl mode (back panel is remove and two short points are touched via wire on motherboard and usb cable is plugged in and then fastboot rom is FLASHED by miflash tool, this usually done on BRICKED Xiaomi fones and MIFLASH asks for AUTHORISED ACCOUNT , which usually only few members have ,,, so this third method you will not use! ...
Ans3.. the popular tool to flash fastboot rom in fastboot mode and edl mode is MI FLASH (latest came out during May2018) but
(a) if your redmi/mi fone is mediatek base then you can try SP FLASHTOOL also! (never done)
(b) if your redmi/mi fone is qualcom snapdragon like redmi3s/ redmi max / redmi6 series / redmi5 series (snapdragon 430/625/660 and now Poco f1 on snapdragon 8x) then you can use QUALCOM's OWN Flashtool https://www.qpstflash.com/ ... i flashed lenevo via qualcom flasher once and it was successful! BUTTTT its HIGHLY NOT RECOMENDED!!!!! ,,, for poco f1. just stating here for your information
Ans4. recently bought Poco so NO, but i have flashed my REDMI 3s via miflash tool (EDL MODE) and then Redmi Note 5pro, i have flashed in fastboot mode so it works but you have to patience, REDMI/Mi is UNSTABLE devices (unlike Sony or Samsung) , and can easily be bricked and many time there are no solutions on miui forums for strange errors coming / poping up in miflash tool... like "cannot send zero packet data" etc etc
summing up..
anything can go wrong even if you are flashing ! so whenever you are flashing any custom rom or miui via twrp/miflashtool ALWAYS "cross your fingers"

So I've read a lot of guides but a few questions still remain unanswered am hoping anyone here can shed some light
-> can I unlock on global stable (Lollipop) miui 7 version 8.0.2.0 (on which am currently on) or do I have to flash global developer rom to be able to unlock ?
-> can I use updater app to switch from stable to developer ? or do I need to use fastboot rom ?
Now on rooting
-> Can I simply install a twrp of my choice and flash super su with it to get root ?
->Do I need to flash universal boot img patcher before or after super su ?
->do I need to flash lazy flasher ?
Some people say simply flash supersu in any twrp to get root others say also flash ubp first! others say also lazy flasher
which is true ?
What's the difference between universal boot image patcher and lazy flasher ?
My aim is to simply root

FOR YOUR FIRST QUESTION: YES YOU CAN. I JUST TODAY UNLOCKED IN 8.0.2
2ND:YES YOU CAN SWITCH VIA UPDATER FROM STABLE TO DEVELOPER. BUT NOT SURE WHETHER CAN BE FROM STABLE LOLLIPOP TO DEVELOPER MARSHMALLOW. IT SHOULD WORK THOUGH,
3RD:YES YOU CAN SIMPLY FLASH SUPERSU.ZIP.... BUT UNLOCK BOOTLOADER VIA OFFICIAL WAY.ITS BETTER AND HASSELFREE FOR FUTURE.
4TH AND 5TH:I HAVENT USED UBP TILL NOW. ITS NOT THAT IMPORTANT. U CAN FLASH TWRP RECOVERY WITH LAZY FLASHER. WHEN YOU INSTALL MIUI VIA TWRP SIMPLY FLASH LAZY FLASHER AND SUPER SU AFTERWARDS. AND IT WILL WORK WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS.
http://en.miui.com/thread-283146-1-1.html for info..
if you unlock bootloader officially then there is twrp cofface. which automatically patches boot.img. So no need of lazy flasher too
Those are my experiences. may not be 100% correct.

which twrp Best for flashing cm like custom roms ? Do you use alka bro ? Can I flash cm like roms with alka ?
Should I take backup of Lollipop with alka in order to fix no sim/baseband type problems when returning to miui from cm roms or Will it work if I simply edl whatever rom it is that I want from cm13 ?

You can use any bro for flashing custom roms
but for miui flash modified cofface with lazy flasher (for unofficial unlock) and u can use twrp cofface for official unlock to flash miui
always take backup before doing anything
i have never faced no sim issues bro when returning from cm to miui
so i dont know about that case.
yeah you can edl too but its not needed that often.

U can download from en.miui.com in download section
No it wont get relock
But u shall flash lazy flasher or use twrp cofface (for official)
I am saying these according to my experience
I unlocked unofficially 2 mnths ago
And flashed various custom as well as miui rom
And today i checked bootloader was still unlocked
But i guess there are some very few custom roms which relocks bootloader ( i forgot though)
But after you once flas twrp in ur phone though BL gets locked u still can flash miui zip custom rom, kernel anything via twrp so no issues
Based on my experience lol ????????????????
Official unlock is only successful for lucky ones
A lot of people have reported about the 50% error for which xiaomi's server are responsible
As far as unofficial unlock is concerned I don't know about which ones the safest and easiest method for 8.0.2.0
And is it possible to revert to miui if there is no earlier backup ?
From my experience.
When I got my hand on RN3, I update it to latest update, which is MIUI 8, stable version (Android 5).
Then try to unlock bootloader to flash custom rom. This is where my journey began.
Unlocking bootloader with Official method is not that hard.
- There is step by step guide from MIUI forum, although not everyone succeed with that method.
- My step:-
1. Apply permission from MIUI
2. Everyday login to MiUnlock Tool to see if I got permission already. (about two or three day of waiting)
3. Make sure Mi Account > Personal Info is same as MIUI Forum Account > Personal Info.
4. After that, I flash RN3 Fastboot Developer Rom (Android 6) with EDL, not with Fastboot using XiaomiFlashTool.
5. Once success flashing, setup phone like you going to use it, set MI Account and everything. Then reboot to fastboot.
6. Open MiUnlockTool and connect phone, and begin unlocking bootloader, and I got it success in no time.
My step to go back to MIUI (Stock Rom):-
1. Using RN3 Fastboot Developer Rom (Android 6), this one with bootloader locked.
2. Reboot phone to Fastboot mode, using XiaomiFlashTool to flash Stock Rom.
3. After that, setup as it is. Reboot again to Fastboot mode, and use MiUnlockTool to unlock again.
** Well that's for my experience. With such a hard and long journey.

I have Redmi Note 3 SD. I applied for official unlock while phone was on MIUI stable 8.0.6.0 (Lollipop) , but I did not wait for permission and I unlocked unofficial and I upgraded to MIUI stable 8.1.1.0 (Marshmallow). Safe TWRP is installed and phone is rooted .
What to do now ? Should I continue with official unlock ? Could it be done if phone is already unlocked (unofficial) ?
Does it change anything significant ? I think I would prefer to be officially unlocked , so the bootloader doesn't ever lock again , but I am not sure if I can or if I should proceed from actual state .
Thanks
PS - Just checked Mi Unlock status in settings and it says - This device is locked !!! . But in Fastboot says bootloader unlock : true !!!
I'm in the same position, and I've sometimes considered unlocking officially. But, for the most part, I am happy with my unofficial unlock and worried that the official process will not work immediately, so I haven't bothered to officially unlock yet.
This would be the proper procedure for doing so, I believe.
1. Take a full backup in TWRP and be sure to copy it to a PC or somewhere separate from the phone. Also copy any important files from internal storage to a PC or some external storage.
2. Flash the latest China development rom using Miflash. (This would relock your phone).
3. Boot and log in with your Mi Account. Check in with "find my phone" to make sure Xiaomi knows you are logged in on your phone with your account.
4. Unlock via the official method using the Mi Unlock Tool... and pray that it doesn't get stuck at 50%. (If it does. Do "find my phone again" and try again later... and again later... etc. Sometimes it reportedly takes days. This is why I haven't bothered to do this yet.)
5. After officially unlocking, you could theoretically restore your TWRP backup (probably avoid restoring any weird partitions other than system and data in case it screws up your bootloader).

Update - I tried unlocking official without flashing dev rom and relocking the phone - of course it didn't work because MiFlash could see the bootloader already unlocked . I will not bother anymore to unlock official if actual state of phone is safe for further custom roms .
Just to make sure - can someone advise if I can flash xiaomi.eu roms from Safe TWRP without worries ? Do I need to flash Universal boot img patcher too after I flash rom ?

I went through same path. Now on LAOS 14.1 . You can flash .. but do take backup of all partitions. Also do try to find what your FP sensor is. You may end up in issue like this https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3543397
Scroll though my other posts for more info.
The problem with Settings crashing , I solved by flashing Radon kernel - also FP is working with this kernel .
It looks like this Redmi Note 3 is much more prone to brick than Redmi 3 I used before. I went through quite a few bricks and failed flashes while unlocking and upgrading to Marshmallow .
With Redmi 3 , which I bought unlocked from Greece , I never had a single problem flashing custom roms - never used fastboot, edl , myflash , just TWRP .
So - no need to flash universal boot img patcher or anything else after flashing custom rom ?

Most guides say that you need the latest dev rom in order to unlock.
If you want to try with merely re-locked bootloader on your current rom, I believe maybe you can re-lock in fastboot?
"fastboot oem lock"
?

Hi , I just flashed fast boot Dev rom from this Nitrogen OS + Cm14 Firmware setup , as I got official permissions.
Now device is unlocked. [ Flash Dev Rom only ]
I would like to know which Twrp to use , now I need to get back to Miui official global stable with custom recovery [ need OTA , Incremental updates ] & also if I flash radon kernel will I receive Incremental updates?
ZCX Twrp is recommended?

Firstly, I try to unlock the bootloader and flash cm14 rom with the unofficial method (without applying from the mi.com). Unfortunately, it becomes soft brick. then I make the deep flash cable to enter the 9008 mode and use mi flash tool to flash the miui rom in it. However, after successful flashing, the mobile either cannot open or just showing mi logo for forever. I have tried at least 10+ miui rom (global, chinese and develop with different versions). Even I exchange the recovery .img to try to enter the twrp, it still cannot enter, I duno what is the problem, finally, i download a Rom and flash it, I can enter the recovery (twrp) but still cannot enter the miui. Now I can flash cm14.1 in it. But I just wanna know why? i have searched many posts saying taht just enter 9008 mode and flash the miui rom and everything is ok, but what i get is bootloop or dead.

I did turn off on several trial of flashing, and the result is the same.
i am wondering if there is any lock by xiaomi to prevent flashing with the latest rom. That means after flashing the latest rom, your phone will be locked and no more other official rom can be flashed using 9008 method.
Hi Folks,
Need some serious assistance in getting Lineage OS(14.1 / higher) and other custom ROMs in the Future.
Current state & issues :
1) current state :

--Locked bootloader(yes, its locked)
--Lineage OS 13.0(marshmallow) installed, Up and working
2) Issues :

History of my Rooting/tinkering :
1) Did I Unlock boot loader officially /unofficially ?
--Unofficially - ofcourse!
--As you all know that Xiaomi has dropped unlocking support to this phone, I waited for a good 4 months( until september 2018) before i tried the unofficial unlock method, very reluctantly though.
Method of unlocking :

--MIUI 7.1.8 Global rom worked fine along with sTWRP v2
--FLashed official Lineage OS 14.1 (from Strixx). It went into eternal bootloop.
--Flashed ASOP/pixelrom/ressurectionremix/Los15.1/16.0 and they all went into eternal bootloop.

Now that i've come so far... the questions for Mods/devs who can help me out!
A) what is the ask ?
--No MIUI, complete movement into Lineage OS 14.1 / 15.1
B) Will you flash other roms int the future ?
--Yes, would love to when i have the freedom to do so
C) do you need root access?
--Not an absolute necessity
D) can device boot into EDL mode and be detected on laptop ?
--Yes (using 2016.08.30.0 flash tool), windows 8.1 x64
E) do you have any backups ?
--No, i forgot to do it.
F) Current state of the phone ?

-Locked bootloader again(because of ZCX TWRP)
-Lineage OS 13.0 works fine, CM13.0 Firmware was flashed before i flashed the ROM.
-VOLTE does not work, SIM2 does not work. SD card works.
G) Can you get the phone to service center to start afresh for a good movement into Lineage OS/ custom ROMs?
--Willing to do so
H) how experienced are you at this ?
--I'm a noob. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I) Have you read other threads/forums to fix this ?
--Yes, i was extremely confused after seeing everyone of them and decided to seek help.
J) Will this phone be my daily driver ?
--Absolutely yes!!
K) Any specific links/files that you need ?
--Please point me to it, will try to get the link/files.
L) worried about battery backup ?
--Yes!! i would prefer a stable ROM with good battery backup & network coverage , over extreme performance.
Is this a duplicate ? please point me to the right thread. i'm all ears!
Install Miui 9 via fastboot or edl
I recommend you RED WOLF recovery
Resurrection Remix or AEX Nougat rom (for best battery backup)
Agni Kernel
In my opinion your problem is or Firmware or Recovery.
See in the forum for links, im in the phone now.
If you with this cant boot nougat rom i suspect of hardware issue.

Hi, I have an old Lolipop bootloader which is unoficially unlocked and I just updated to redfox TWRP
I have on the phone now perfectly working "ressurection remix" android 6.0 marshmallow but with unoficially unlocked Lolipop bootloader
so I understand this: if I upgrade to the last firmware without the emmc file it means that it won't upgrade my bootloader at all, that means it will remain the old Lolipop one unoficially unlocked
so my questions are:
1).will I be able to flash Nougat or Oreo custom ROMS if I upgrade the firmware without emmc file but I will STILL be on very old Lolipop bootloader? (as I understand newer Oreo ROMS need newer bootloader)
2).or I'm better updating the firmware with emmc file included, that means it will lock my bootloader but will also upgrade it to the newest bootloader so I'll be able to install newer Oreo ROMS ?
regarding my second question, I would use the 2nd method in this thread to install custom ROMS with locked bootloader https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/how-to/kate-guide-install-lineage-os-locked-t3546154
please advice what is the simplest way for me to install OREO custom ROMS with a very old unoficially unlocked Lollipop bootloader
thanks in advance!

Flash latest fastboot rom and unlock again.
I wouldn 't want to wait forever for official bootloader unlock approval, is there a way to unlock the newest bootloader unoficially or should I go with the method mentioned in the linked thread to install TWRP on a locked bootoader?

Install Miui 9 via fastboot or edl
I recommend you RED WOLF recovery
Resurrection Remix or AEX Nougat rom (for best battery backup)
Agni Kernel
In my opinion your problem is or Firmware or Recovery.
See in the forum for links, im in the phone now.
If you with this cant boot nougat rom i suspect of hardware issue.

Thank you. will definately consider AEX+red wolf recovery. HArdware ? hmmm MIUI 9.5.6.0 Global stable worked fine on this phone... its only the custom ROM thats getting stuck.

MIUI Fastboot roms :
http://en.miui.com/a-234.html
★ Redmi Note 3 SD Latest Global Stable Version Fastboot File Download
★ Redmi Note 3 SD Lastest Global Developer Version Fastboot File Download
which one do you recommend ?
Also, could you please refer a guide for flashing fastboot ROM via EDL mode ?
Once i flash this fastboot ROM, i guess it will lock the bootloader again and I need to unlock it unofficially. If I were to unlock it unofficially on the latest fastboot ROM, how would i go about doing that ?
the only method i know is to flash 7.1.8 ROM with modified emmc file and then unlock bootloader. will this take my firmware back in time and be incompatible with newer custom roms ?

Please dont do that. The issue with ZCX could be that its designed for Android M. the newer ROMs will have issues since its not updated to suit android 7.1/8.1/9.0
I'm stuck with ZCX and none of the 7.1/8.1/9.0 ROMs are getting installed. I unofficially unlocked the bootloader, waited for 4 months.
This guide is good, but it does take you back to 7.1.8. if I can avoid that, it would work for me and you:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/how-to/unlock-bootloader-twrp-root-7-2-3-t3359492
Until the bootloader unlock, its simple. beyond it is a little muddy.
Bump, please advise on this.

I have never tried and no idea how to unlock unofficilay.
But if u need proper advise then install telegram chat app. All the xda followers and devs are more active on telegram compare to xda.
Just install telegram and search keyword like redmi note 3,
kenzo development,
kenzo news,
kenzo roms,
miui roms. Or any other specific group related to custom rom like resurrection, aex. U will get quicker response .

You can try unofficial unlock method if you really want to unlock boot loader.
I have been using my kenzo without unlocking boot loader with Redwolf or pitch black recovery and AEX N unofficial by pzqqt.
If you want custom ROM you can try without unlocking BL.
Follow this guide

Using RR and upgraded to twrp latest via the play store app, have magisk root
Unofficial method
Hi Folks,
I’ve officially lost my Redmi note 3. It was snatched away, while waiting for a taxi. Anyways, Leaving a suggestion here if someone is unlocking Redmi note 3(kenzo) in 2018.
Before anyone starts!! Please read this once and then start.
All credits to original developers
I’ve just put in steps to unlock and install TWRP after multiple failures
This unlocking is only for Kenzo. 32GB/3GB Indian Redmi note 3 model
Try at your own risk
Is there an option to revert to stock if you are fed up of trying ? Yes. Flash the Global stable ROM using this method : http://en.miui.com/thread-235865-1-1.html
Pre-requisites:
A) I don’t recommend ZCX TWRP method, it locked my bootloader again.
B) Disable driver signature enforcement on windows
https://www.howtogeek.com/167723/ho...8.1-so-that-you-can-install-unsigned-drivers/
C) Ensure that you have the phone connected to the PC always, until the end. Disconnecting it in the middle of a step could take you back to Step 1&2
D) Use only the older Mi flash tool - v20160830(which has Qualcomm Drivers - ), *NOT* the newer version of unlock tool
E) Charge your phone to 100%(to be on safer side) before start
F) Download the necessary files and keep them ready. *DO NOT keep the phone in EDL mode and then, start searching for it! Your phone does not charge in EDL mode*. if your phone shuts down while flashing, it will cause bigger issues.
*MIUI DEV ROM / https://en.miui.com/a-234.html
*(optional) Cofface TWRP by feds64 / http://en.miui.com/thread-296053-35-1.html
-> You can find “FIX” in the in 30-40 page. Not sure. This works with lineage OS 14.1 too.
*official TWRP / https://dl.twrp.me/kenzo/twrp-3.2.3-0-kenzo.img
*Redmi note 3 bootloader unlock files / http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=attachment&aid=Mzc0OTg4NnxlYjIwYjYxNnwxNTQxNjY1MDQ5fDB8MjQwNzgxOQ==
* Lineage OS 14.1 / https://download.lineageos.org/kenzo
*MIUI Flash tool 2016.08.30: http://api.bbs.miui.com/url/MiFlash [or] https://androidmtk.com/download-xiaomi-mi-flash-tool
* Open Gapps pico 7.1 , ARM x64 – https://opengapps.org
G) Create “C:\RedmiNote3\” folder and place all the downloaded files(ROMs/unlock files/TWRP etc) there. There should be no spaces in the folder path.
H) Ensure that you select “clean all” in the mi tool, always. Do NOT select “Clean all and lock”
I) Certain articles may be redundant, but more information always helps. IT took 2-3 days to get all the files that I need. If you cant find something that i’ve listed, let me know. Will try to get it.
Quick overview of the install sequence :
1) Reboot phone to EDL mode
2) Flash the Developer Fastboot ROM from Xiaomi
3) Set up the phone(with / without Mi account)
4) Enter EDL mode again
5) Unlock phone unofficially
6) Copy Lineage OS 14.1, open Gapps (x64 ARM – PICO) & TWRP in the memory card
7) Enter Fastboot mode
8) Flash TWRP official
9) Advanced wipe in TWRP : Wipe data, system, dalvik/cache, internal storage
10) Flash Lineage OS 14.1
11) OMG!!!! the Phone isn’t booting, what can I do to revert to factory settings?
Follow steps 1 & 2 and you are good to go!
Procedure that I followed :
I. Disable windows driver signing on your windows machine
II. Download redmi note 3 Developer fastboot rom(Global DEV) : https://en.miui.com/a-234.html
-select “★ Redmi Note 3 SD Lastest Global Developer Version Fastboot File Download”
III. Enter EDL Mode of Redmi note 3
-shutdown phone.
-Press Volume down+Power button for 5 seconds, you will see Mi Bunny in fastboot mode
-Use https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/how-to/guide-reboot-to-edl-mode-fastboot-test-t3398718
Download : https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24591000424940129
-execute Reboot.bat
-Reboot to EDL mode (Red LED flashes)
-Your phone will show up in Windows OS’ “device manager” as Qualcomm 9008 diagnostics(it should come up this way)
IV. Flash the DEV Rom, using mi Flash tool : http://en.miui.com/thread-235865-1-1.html
a) Version of mi flash tool required: 2016.08.30(this worked for me)
b) Install MIUI Global DEV ROM via EDL mode by following instructions in the MIUI FORUM
V. Setup your phone after flashing DEV Rom. Tap “build number” 7 times to enable developer options
VI. Developer options (I was signed into my MI account while unlocking bootloader UNOFFICIALLY) no issues there!!
VII. How to unlock unofficially ?
-Follow this : http://en.miui.com/thread-2407819-1-1.html
a) Follow First 7 steps
b) unlocking phone using following commands :
“Fastboot devices”
“fastboot oem device-info”
“fastboot oem unlock-go”
Quick check to see if unlocking worked “fastboot oem device-info”
c) “Flasher toolkit” by Feds64 seems to be broken, Install TWRP manually.
VIII. After you unlock your phone, reboot to Fastboot mode
IX. Flash TWRP official, manually
Download : https://dl.twrp.me/kenzo/twrp-3.2.3-0-kenzo.img
commands to flash TWRP :
“Fastboot devices”
“fastboot flash recovery C:\redminote3\twrp-3.2.3-0-kenzo.img”
X. Reboot to TWRP without booting to MIUI
“fastboot boot recovery C:\redminote3\twrp-3.2.3-0-kenzo.img”
“Swipe to allow modifications”, but ensure that you DO NOT modify partitions.
XI. Do you see CHINESE text in TWRP? switch language : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxPeYJYsUYU
XII. Ensure that you have Lineage os 14.1 downloaded and stored in a memory card.
https://download.lineageos.org/kenzo
In TWRP, you need to do “advanced wipe”
Dalvik cache,
cache,
internal storage,
data,
system
XIII. Flash Lineage OS 14.1, Open Gapps – Pico, x64 ARM.

Bump to the top. it may help someone.
I have been using custom ROM - Nitrogen OS for some months with no major issues. I decided to try Pixel Experience today and downloaded the ROM file.
In the process, I rebooted the device without having OS installed accidentally. I am able to go to FASTBOOT mode, but not able to install any OS. cmd - "fastboot flashing unlock" failed because the bootloaded is locked. How can I flash the twrp and boot it in recovery. Please help

I have officially unlocked the phone an year back. I used 3 ROMs between and settled up in Nitrogen for many months. I wanted to try pixel experience. I am yet to move the pixel experience zip to phone. I wiped out system and all user data using TWRP recovery. I am supposed to move the new ROM's zip to phone, install using TWRP and then reboot the device. But what I did was I wiped the system and booted without having any OS installed. I tried unlocking the bootloader in cmd prompt, but not working. So cant install new OS
Now i can not install any rom because the bootloader locked. I can not use the phone either as there is no OS. Force restarting the phone by long press power button stucks me in Mi logo.
Now what all i can do is have the screen on with either FASTBOOT or with Mi logo. Any miracle is possible only through cmd prompt. Have any help?

Thank you Black_Stark, it worked. Its very simple.
Note, the flashing worked only while the edl screen was open. I have tried flashing initial few attempts after closing the edl screen, which resulted error in mi flash tool.
Update: The phone booted good, however it is not detecting my sims and wifi not connecting. Any fix?
