Every android device has a specific codename assigned to it by the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).
The codename assigned to the Redmi 5 Plus is vince.
The codename helps differentiate between phones with different internals because sometimes the real names of the device are not clear or are too long to be used in coding the firmwares. The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus is a long name with several spaces and cannot be used in coding of firmware. So a shorter name is assigned. Then there is the confusion that is sometimes present in names of the phone. The Redmi 5 Plus in China is being sold as the Redmi Note 5 in India. But in China there is another device being sold by the name of Redmi Note 5. The indian and Chinese Note 5 are completely different and so have different codenames. But as the Chinese 5 Plus is the same as Indian Note 5, both the devices have codename vince.
Edit:
If you wanted to ask what the codename for the Redmi 5 is and not about Remi 5 Plus, the codename for Redmi 5 is "rosy". This is the phone with 5.7" screen and Snapdragon 450
Well like the title speaks for it self, i've checked out the dimensions of both the Pixel 3 XL and the Razer Phone (1st gen, not Razer Phone 2) and it seems like the dimensions of both phones are almost equal.
Razer Phone:
158.5 x 77.7 x 8 mm
6.24 x 3.06 x 0.31 in
Google Pixel 3 XL:
158.0 x 76.7 x 7.9 mm
6.2 x 3.0 x 0.3 in
So the actual size difference between them is that the Razer Phone is more in dimension with:
Length: 0.5mm / 0.04 in
Width: 1mm / 0.06 in
Thickness/Height : 0.1mm / 0.01 in
Im going to order one and see if its fits and working and keep this thread updated. The Gamevice for the Pixel 2, 2 XL, 3, and 3XL is available in the U.S. for $79.99 on its website and the Google Store. Amazon already carries previous models, so it's reasonable that this one will also find its way there soon. So for the moment i can't find any that can be shipped to The Netherlands (sad enough they sell the pixel series but no accessoires for the phone on their website )
i know that the shape of both the phones are not the same though its worth to give it a try ?!?!
And if its works it may be an idea to port (if possible) game genie as seen as on Asus Rog Phone with gamevice attached to remap on screen buttons to the gamevice itself.
All of this are just ideas for the moment
And sorry for my English im trying at least
Did it work?

i still don't have the gamevice yet its not available yet and they dont ship to the Netherlands and can't find it anywhere else online so im stuck with just waiting till its available..
But im also trying to figure out a way to get Sixaxis Controller app to work on the Razer Phone but it just doesn't (dont know whats wrong with the bluetooth in Oreo) but i keep it updated once i have progress on the controller & the app.
Hi everyone,
I am about to buy REALME XT (or 5 Pro) depending on many things and my first criteria is the SAR value.
And I read that the realme is trying not to give such number correctly.
I was wondering if any of you happen to find the "real" SAR value for XT (as well as 5 pro) for Europe please
Do you also know any European Authority site also lists official sar values of the mobile phone please?

I've read whole bunch of reviews of Realme 7 Pro and some of them actually do measure spec parameters and results are, to put it midly, VERY confusing!
From three well known review web sites maximum display brightnes measurements are as follow:
Notebookcheck: 507 nits
GSM Arena : 585 nits
German test : 632 nits
It's not even in the same ballpark!!
Is it possible that Realme's quality control is really such a disaster and faults it's consumers so brazenly?
Any comments and opinions from the actual Realme 7 Pro owners?
Hi can anyone please suggest a good Gcam and config that actually works for OnePlus 11R (Ace 2) and not OnePlus 11 ... all I am getting is generic pages on google seems like there is no specific gcam or config for it.
Need the answer to this one as well. Find any leads?
