Hello all,
Yesterday my P20 Lite (NOVA 3e) was updated to the 9.0.1 and after that all Google apps just stopped worked, it looks like the GMS installer is not working anymore.
I performed the factory reset and tried several times again to use the GMS installer, maybe the previous version don't work with EMUI 9.0.1. Any idea or suggestion? Is it possible to go back to the last EMUI?
Thanks!

I some as problem!!
Your boot loader is unlocked ?
Related
So I
1. Unlocked the bootloader
2. Installed firmware 32.0.A.6.152 / R11B via Flashtool (using the built-in xperifirm, and CDA: 1298-5497)
3. rooted using the TWRP method,
4. installed xposed framework using XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk & framework xposed-v75-sdk22-arm64.zip
I've discovered my camera doesn't work properly - it launches, then crashes with "Unfortunately Camera has stopped". Strangely, the "AR Effect" app, which uses the camera, it works fine.
Could it have something to do with having xposed framework installed?
Is there way to reinstall just that camera app?
Any tips for the best way to diagnose?
Thanks
OK, I've tried factory reset (didn't work so I had to wipe from within TWRP), reflashed .152, re-rooted, and the camera is still working. Going to install all the same apps over the weekend, and test again before assuming something in xposed didn't play nicely
Same problem here but I use Google camera from Google play, and it's working very well
Same here. May we should wait for a modded camera.
I have found this bug is because of flashing the Xposed framework zip file via recovery. Uninstalling the zip via recovery using xposed-uninstaller-20151217-arm64.zip fixes the problem and you get the camera back but at the cost of losing Xposed and vice versa. Anyone got a working zip?
I was using E5823 Android 5.1.1 32.0.A.6.200 with xposed-v79-sdk22-arm64.zip (sdk23 said Android 6.0 only when flashing?) and Xposedinstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk
I've got this problem on the latest Marshmallow firmware for the Z5C. The camera FCs every few minutes when I have it open and even when I'm not moving the phone around. So far it continues even without installing xposed but I'm going to try running the phone completely stock with no root to see if rooting is the issue now. I wonder if there is any solution to this on Marshmallow.
i am also facing the same issue, pls help!!!
After the update to Firmware 4.5.5.1 (I used uphdx), I can't use xposed.
I could solve the problem with this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-android-4-4-4-t3249895/page6
I used the files from a earlier version (4.5.2)

There is a simpler solution - a recompiled Xposed installer :

Have you actually tried this? I seriously doubt that, since this is what I tried first
and that SolarWarez version of XPosed wouldn't even install on my HDX 8.9...

Interesting... I suppose you were starting from scratch, is that correct?
I had XPosed installed for quite a while, and no matter how many times
I uninstalled it, installation of the SolarWarez version failed with
"already installed" (or some such). I guess, there **must** be a way
to forcefully remove the old app and make this error go away, but
-if you never had XPosed installed before- you wouldn't have this issue.

Yes, I started with a non-functioning XPosed.
I just got a new chinese phone but unfortunately it doesn't come with google play store installed...so i tried rooting it with most one-click app and even with their pc versions but all to no avail...i've searched down the web for a custom recovery image or even a stock rom version with playstore....i also tried installing gms package via accessibilities without success..am kinda stuck any help??
I updated EMUI 9 B160 to B182, did a factory reset and wipe and noticed Netflix didn't get updated. When I started Netflix, it said the app needed to be updated but the Playstore link it redirected to said the app is no longer supported on my device.
Netflix worked fine before.
I rooted it, backed up Netflix and the PartnerNetflixActivation from another EMUI 9 B160 device (yes I have 2, one is updated) and restored it on B182, but this doesn't help make Netflix work.
What's "funny" is that going to RR or OMNI Netflix won't work either.
Has anyone else updated to B182 and does Netflix still work?
How can I downgrade to 160 (or even to EMUI 8)? Guides with HiSuite don't work (no button to change version) and FunkyHuawei doesn't support the CMR-W09.
I'm on 182 on my SHT-W09 model.
Netflix works fine for me - current app version is 7.9.0 build 21 (code 34223)
I am rooted with Magisk and running the Raviole kernel. My Play System will not update past July no matter what I do. I delete all but one account on my phone and followed those instructions and still nothing. I have a 24MB update available and I've tried 20 times to download and install it but on reboot I just have the same level still. Anyone have a similar issue or know of a workaround? I even did a factory image install with the update to A13...twice.
I got on September 14(!) also the 24MB update, but then it showed I am now on August patch level.
Maybe it has something to do with your kernel?
Cheers
I checked on the kernel and that shouldn’t be the issue. I don’t know if Magisk would have any effect on it. I’m kind of out of ideas for the time being.
stock unrooted, and I just got the August Play system update yesterday. Prior to that I got 3 updates that were all dated July.
have you tried installing the apk from apkmirror ?

The apk is only a "visual" update and only displays August update, too small for the complete PlaySystem Update.
But some reported after installing, it triggered something and after a while the "real" system update was downloaded and installed.
Cheers
