I made this thread to ask a simple question:
Is it somehow possible to make the notification center background blurred (with blur intensity inc4easing/decreasing opening/closing the notifications) just like it is on ios or while opening it in the lock screen?

It is implausible with stock launcher, but you can try using another launcher.

hey guys!
im looking to learn how to edit the framework to change the style of the x10 lock screen from the straight left to right to the rotary curved style one.. and possibly redesign the look i.e change the colour and the icons a little..
now ive pulled the framework from my x10 and had a look and ive found the pics inside there that are for the rotary style slider and pics that look like they are from the froyo slider ? so if they are there, there must be a way to edit the frame work to change the style at your whim, which is what im looking to do
can anyone help with pointing me to a guide? or help guide me directly to changing the settings on the phone to change the lock style?
and please NO CRAPPY APPS!! thank you lol i wanna do it the hard way and learn something not download a bloatware app and be lazy about it

Hi there!
I want to use a black (or gray) status bar on my MIUI based WajkUI but I have a problem. When I modify the statusbar to a black one, and I pull down, the text remains black. And invisible of course.
The other problem: I use a light lockscreen wallpaper, and the unpulled statusbar's text is white. So I can't see for example the clock while while the lockscreen is active.
Anyone knows some solution?
Noone blessed with this problem?

Just wondering if anyone knows a way to edit the font, size and other appearance settings of the unlock sliders in WidgetLocker (mainly the sense sliders)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you want to change lock you have to download zip and place it in correct folder. For text and fonts you can use Minimalistic text app (can be found in android market).

thanks for the reply. Im actually wondering if there is a way to change the font on the slider clock... not the actual slider itself. Ive been successfully switching between the variety of slider themes and finding that the clock on the slider is always the same.

Does anyone know how to change the font/font color of the stock ICS lockscreen? It's just a semi-transparent overlay with a text clock / date and alarm information. I've already edited the lock icons but I can't find where to play with that one bit of info. Any help would be appreciated.

Could you post screenshots of your edited icons? That sounds pretty sick

I am looking for a quick launcher in the statusbar. It should just display 6 shortcuts for easy access in any app. I found these two apps which would be fine:
TUFFS
Notification Shortcuts
The problem is, that they dont stay on the very top of my notifications and this kind of makes them useless to me. Does anyone have an idea how to enable this? Or are there other apps which are better?

EDIT: SOLVED it myself. In Nougat you can longpress the notification --> more settings --> toogle importance -->set importance to the highest value.
