I have installed ViperOS but why Bug Noise Cancellation still there?
Every time I record a video, the sound is very bad.
Even when I use a headset, the sound remains the same.
Is there a way to solve this problem?

I have an Xperia play - modded with cyanogenMod 9.1.0 ICS
I used to have 4.0 but i modded it hoping it might fix my issue.
It"s rather strange, I can call and receive calls no problem, people can hear me fine. When i put it on loud speaker they can't hear me.
Also if it try and record my voice or a sound it doesnt work. Absolute silence with a small 'beep' at the end of each recording
The microphone can't be broken as I can call people fine, surely it's just a glitch of some kind.
Any idea if it can be fixed? anyone have the same problem?

its done kinda manufcturer defect nro...if its in warenty get the dvce replaced

Hi guys!!! I have this great smartphone but I have a big problem and I'd like to know the cause.
I have done the root of my phone and than i have installed olokos's mod ([SOUNDMOD]Both speakers while incoming call + headphones boost )
In the fiist moment, the person that I called hears his voice like an echos. ( i have done a mistake: I have installed the wrong mod) i have done the backup restore and than I have put my backup rom.
now every person that talks with me or hears my voice like it is hoarse or as if I put a hand in front of the speaker . how is it possible???
according to you is, it a harware issue or i need to set my phone? is there an app?

It's software, update to 438 if not already, if problem persists disable noise suppression and/or voice enhancement, should be fine then

Hi , I've tried almost N/MM roms but in all of them I found a bug when I record an audio message on telegram/WhatsApp or during a call.
When i record it's sound really bad, my voice is like a robot and is almost impossible to understand what I say.
Someone found this bug? I think is a problem about soppression noise , but i'm not sure.

If i record only my voice all fine, but if there is noise the rec is very bad

So it's not a mic problem at all, it's an anti noise system failure.
So it should be a rom problem?

I have read in another post of to solve the whatsapp mic problem
solution:
with an explorer root modify in path /system/etc the file called: audio_platform_info.xml
change the row:
<device name="SND_DEVICE_IN_HANDSET_MIC" acdb_id="41"/>
whit:
<device name="SND_DEVICE_IN_HANDSET_MIC" acdb_id="4"/>
this work for me.
Hello, I'm trying to disable noise cancellation, because recording music sounds awful.
Despite all the instructions I have found on the internet, nothing seems to work. Either sound is still supressed, or the mic doesn't work at all. Has anyone had success with this issue?

did you apply the patch or edit the system files manually? The patch makes no difference for me. When I followed the steps, the mic doesn't work at all (I get an error when trying to record audio).

which ROM are you using?
I also face same problem
When WhatsApp Voice Call use Bluetooth always delay n awful sound and Reconnecting, but when turn to Loudspeaker and earspeaker everything smoothly,
Is there any patch to fix this?
I try many roms, like ViperOS, AEX, Los 14.1 (Nougat)

There's no fix, Xiaomi audio just sucks.
Hi. I have a J7 2017 (SM-J730F) since it was released, and there is a problem related to the main speaker that has happened to me several times.
Sometimes, the speaker stops working. Headphones, Bluetooth speakers and the call speaker work perfectly, but the main one doesn't play any sound. Instead, if you listen closely, you will hear a low static noise when something is supposed to be played, and like an electric sound when the sound is meant to be stopped.
If this happens to you, maybe you have noticed that rebooting the phone won't fix it, even in safe mode. But there is a way to make it work again: just turn down the phone and wait a couple of minutes before turning it on again.
If you have other problems with sound and/or other possible fixes for it you can share it here, so somebody may find it helpful.

That is right.
This problem occurs after you do the root.
Power off and wait for a minute or two, then power on is enough to fix this problem.
Note: This problem always occurs when you do soft reboot with a third-party application, but it does not occur when you restart in the normal way.
I liked to share my experience with this problem.

I've never rooted my phone, and when this happened to me my device wasn't even rebooted. It's more like a software issue, and Samsung must fix it.
But the important thing is that this fix works to everyone, so you're welcome
Recently, my J7 Pro speaker went from loud to small even though I put it on Maximum Volume, does anyone know any solutions to this ?

If you have Sound Assistant installed, check that "individual apps volumes" are set to the maximum.
