I'm trying to compile LOS 15.1 for my s6 edge and it actually succeed. The problem is thaty GPS and other sensors are not working, they are all dead.
Up until April 12 they were somehow working, but in all latest build they do not work at all.
I checked the commit in LOS 15.1 and I could not identify anything that could cause those problems. I tried restoring an official LOS14.1 and everything is back to normal so it is something linked to LOS 15.1.
Anyone has the same problem and knows how to fix it ?
thanks

Hi, What are the reevant diferences between LineageOs 14.1 and CM 14.1?
Lineage is more up-to-date, because of course CM died last year and LOS took it's place other than that nothing you have to worry about.
I´ve installed LOS 14.1 on Surnia but it doesn´t recognize the SIM card and when I try to set up Mobile Network a pop up says that com.phone.android has stopped and then I must close the app. The same issue happened with tke last build of CM.
Hello. I have such trouble because I was porting to LineageOS. My source was CyanogenMod 13 and the port is LineageOS. Unfortunately, after the flash package I have a bootloop.I'm going out and nothing to do.I tried fixes on the internet but they do not bring any solution.Help? I count on you. :crying:
In my le max 2 (india), I am always having network issues both with Lineage OS 14.1 and RR 5.8.4. Volte and network is completely unstable. I have issues with fingerprint sensor too but that can be cured using flashing a different modem (say CN 21s or IN 19s). But that does not fix the network issue. I think network stability should be basic requirement of developing any rom.
Does anyone else face the network issue? Can blackscreen kernel cure it?
When I tried blackscreen kernel on Lineage OS 14.1, the second sim was not detected.
If blackscreen kernel is the solution, kindly post me a link for RR 5.8.4.
UPDATE: with blacksreen kernel kernel-blacki-14.1-20170804-x2, the RR is not booted for the first time.

I have not seen a more unstable rom than this RR 5.8.4 or Lineage OS 14.1. Completely pissed off. The xda support is not up to the mark and hardly helpful.

There no such thing as "XDA support". This is a community of volunteers, who are not paid for what we do. It looks like you think you bought something from us and not from LeEco. No custom ROM is error free, and no custom ROM developer is liable for what works and doesn't work on your phone or anyone's. So, if you don't like the community, its rules, and the custom ROM rules, just move on, there's nothing here for you.
On the other hand, if you want to help, contribute, and be polite, you'll be welcome here, but you don't look like that kind of person.

Just upgrade to 23s or 26s modem and see if helps.
Just read that LOS 15.1 is now available as a build for treble, along with RROS.
Has anyone tested these on the H9 yet, I'm not too keen on risking bricking by phone (again) since I really don't have time to sort it out, let alone see if custom ROMs will work.
Hi,
New user/poster. I recently flashed lineage 15.1 w/ OpenGapps (ARM64 - 8.1 - nano) and can't get Netflix or Crunchyroll to stream.
The apps function as normal but it gets stuck 'loading' indefinitely (FYI YouTube works fine). Would appreciate any advice.
P.S. Tried flashing OS16.0 but kept getting error 7 so downgraded TWRP, but then 16.0 would get stuck at the 'password to start' screen, so ended up downgrading to 15.1. Open to suggestions on any alternative OS or additional software to install.
Thanks!

Which lineage did you flash? Vatrom's build has video hardware acceleration implemented. Then someone else built a newer build and posted in the same thread and didn't include the hardware acceleration fix. I think the solution would be to extract the kernel from Vatrom's build and flash it on the newer build. It's just easier to use Vatrom's build if you don't mind being outdated. I think it's fine, but I don't do much with the tablet and it rarely leaves home so security risks for me are minimal

That is an excellent question and I don't know, but I'm going to try Vatrom's build as suggested - thanks very much for the tip.
Will report back on how I go.
