Volte update - YU Yureka Android Development

Plzzz add volte in pie ROM for yureka.....anyone do for us ....all yureka user wait ....
Sent from my YU5510 using Tapatalk

Why don't you just buy a redmi note phone instead?
I have updated my yureka plus from lollipop to nougat to Oreo and have not found any real dramatic change in features except a GUI change.

I hv also a Asus zenfone max m1 but ....yureka is my old device ....but yureka is used to smooth ....so volte in pie ....then yureka is rocking
Sent from my YU5510 using Tapatalk

Bro please stop forcing the developers, Rajesh has already declared that it is nearly impossible to bring volte in pie.
Just use oreo or nougat roms

Volte was a new concept when snapdragon 615 came out. The implementation has changed since then. Current chips have more than one bearer.
Send emails to snapdragon requesting them to update the drivers for 615 and see what happens
Sent from my YU5510 using Tapatalk

No knowledge about it....but no more alive in dev section who made it for yureka

Anyone try this....SD 615 driver for volte other mobile available

Nokia N1 vs Xiaomi MiPad

Silly question....
I'm undecided between the xiaomi mipad and the Nokia n1
.... I notice that there isn't any support on XDA for both tablets making my purchase decision difficult.
What's your take on this, im on the look for a 4:3 aspect ratio and 7.4 inch ish tablet size, should I look somewhere else other then those? Thanx
Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk
ive no personal experience with the N1, but i can say that ive really enjoyed my mipad. im impressed with the build quality.
i run the latest "global" miui rom rooted.
also xiaomi is expected to release the source code before to much longer.. which means 3rd party roms would be quick to follow.
What do u mean with GLOBAL ?

i bought mine from china (i live in the US) it came with a version of miui that had several Chinese apps that looked to do similar stuff to google.. and it didnt have any google apps. once i swapped to the global version of miui i really liked the tablet.
from miui.com you can download 3 roms
mipad china:
-developer
-stable
mipad global:
-stable
if you install cwm you can easily root any of them, if you stick with original recovery you can only root the developer.
also there are several developers in russia and india that are just waiting for source code to drop. and its expected to happen fairly soon (assuming mipad follows the general path of other xiaomi products)
Xiaomi seem taking their sweet time lol,is already one year old if I'm correct.
What is the path that usually they use for their phones regarding the code?

Lets hope for Kernel sources to be released[Mi Pad]

Xiaomi is usually hesitant to release the code, sometimes due to too much pressure created they may release all at once as happened in the beginning of this year with mi 3, mi 4, redmi note all code being released, except Mi Pad.
Lets hope Xiaomi releases it soon so that Lag Free Roms can be developed for this beastly device!

Feature Wish-List for future OPT Roms

Hi OnePlus 2 Lovers
I'm starting this thread to make a central place to discuss all the features you'd like to see in your phones os. I'm not a dev (or not really [emoji6] ) but I think this thread could be helpful for devs. I'm really interested in your opinions!
Let's be friendly and share

It seems to be a known issue with the OP2 as other phones (Galaxies and iPhones) are fine.
What I wish the most is pie like it was in jelly bean. What I mean you could see clock and battery from there and access quick settings and notifications.
But Pa killed that many years ago

Cm bug free? You are dreaming, my friend. I've tried Cm on every device I've ever owned and always found it to be among the buggiest ROMs I've ever used. I haven't had any issues with Oxygen and have no plans to flash anything else. Xposed gives me the few extra features I want so I have no need to try anything else. There is no way Cm will be more stable than Oxygen, not in a million years.

It works fine for me with my Pioneer head unit. Both Spotify and local music show metadata on my head unit. On a side note, the bluetooth on the OP2 is much more reliable than it is on my iPhone 6. There is also absolutely zero delay with the OP2 when my iPhone had a 500-1000ms delay that made videos painful to watch.

The issue appears to be that the OP2 reports Bluetooth AVRCP version 1.5 where most headunits expect v1.4. The work-around is to force reporting of v1.4 which is compatible with the widest number of units. Hopefully this will be addressed in the near future.
We are getting (fully functional) Marshmallow roms soon so i think the possibilities for devs are going to be even bigger. I might even try to make a rom myself

OnePlus FP driver

Back a few months ago, OnePlus promised to release the FP driver to the community to help out developers, what is happening ?
They are making the sensor work with the marschmallow API. So it will be supported in custom roms. They will never release the sources.

Yes, I am fully aware of that but they could of released it for lollipop, we all know custom ROMS are way ahead of OxygenOS

Too bad, because the FP sensor is also not made by OnePlus. So they just can't release any sources. The only hope we have is that someone back-engineers it...

So NO other phone used the same FP sensor that we might be capable of using the same driver?
I have serious doubts about this whole situation tbh

Presently only our phone has 1150 sensor.. (I've read this somewhere)
Sent from my ONE A2003 using Tapatalk
the whole FP thing was the reason I stayed on oxygenOS for a good while, which I regret, once I switched to custom rom I was so much happier even without the FP. Now that was finally got android 6 roms hopefully we get FP soon.
In marshmallow it will work a lot better, in h2os beta works awesome, its toooooo fast!

That's because Google is kind of banned in China? and they don't want to use their API? Nah.. I don't think so. is it? okay I'm stupid.

Unlikely but wishful hoping you're reasoning is true. We all want OnePlus to use the standard API so that the device can be maintained easily by custom rom developers and groups.
This will expand the lifespan of the device and make people support and keep buying OnePlus devices.
You hear this ONEPLUS?

GODSPEED land
(pardon me for the Caps LOL)
And @zwliew already started to work with sources.
Follow commits: kernel, device, vendor
He enabled quick F2FS support and seems implemented better cores power management.
BTW here's his CM13, for now with old MIUI kernel.
Seems next version will be built from source because commits belongs to cm-13 branch.

Until Google, AOSP, Huawei and HTC fixes up the currently rather nasty battery/stability issues for 6P and Pixel(s) at the very least, then and only then it'd be advisable for devs to ante it up.

Port S8+ O Beta to note 8?

i'm sure it's possible since
it's basically the same device lol
I tried already. But for now even Oreo rom for S8 doesn't want to boot.
Samsung focused on security instead of new features or new UI this year. Security against their own customers!
Other than 1000s of security changes, we need these:
Oreo bootloader
Oreo kernel
Oreo modem
Oreo HIDL libs probably.
It's not so easy anymore.
